Wireless keyboard right shift don't work with some keys but left shift works

So, this is really a strange behaviour under Mavericks 10.9.5
My right shift doesn't like some "keys" and some keys don't like the shifts ( either left or right ). For example:
doing a " ? " or a " B " or a " % " with the right shift doesn't work. I mean, after i remove the batteries and stay without using the keyboard for a day or two, when i get back to it, it works for a couple of minutes. But after that... i just can do a capital B or a ? with the right ****. Although i can do all other characters.
the " t " key is another one. No caps here, with either left or right shift key. But the key by itself is working just fine.
So i'm not really 100% convinced it's an hardware fault, because the all keys are working properly in other situations.
Any idea about this strange behaviour?

Hello Postmodum,
Check out the article below and turn on the keyboard viewer to see what happens to the keyboard when you press the right shift key. You may find out that it may be linked to add another combination of keys, which can produce the odd behavior that you are describing.

My cannon printer worked with snow leopard but does not work with Lion

My Mf 4350d printer does not work with lion Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2., it worked with Snow leopard no problem. I am a novice with apple so can you tell me how to do any changes carefully.

Shift key not working with some keys

I am using a MAC Pro with two hard drives. One runs Leopard and the other MS windows. while in windows, the birghtness key illuminated (f2 key) and suddenly the shift 2, w, s, x keys quit working. I decided to reboot and while holding the option key to boot into windows, the system did not recognize the option key and booted me into Leopard. so now I notice the shift 2, w, s, x, and option key are not working. Any suggestions? Also, the brightness icon is still lit up on my screen and I am not able to make it go away or even adjust...

If our BlackBerry ever got wet then we should not try to Turn it ON to see if it works . Should immediately remove the Battery , also SIM and Media Card. We should place it in a bag of Uncooked rice which absorb the moisture . Should leave it for atleast 3 to 4 days unless we are sure that moisture has been completely absorbed . Then we should place our BlackBerry on any heat emitting surface like stabilizer , Or in the dashboard of a car on a sunny day. Before inserting the battery we should be sure that it is completely dry.
Have you done this after your device got wet ?
Still after following those steps it is not guarantied that our device will be trouble free and will perform as earlier , because when moisture or any liquid substance enter our BlackBerry it starts corrosion which leads to problem like quick battery drainage , problem in typing and many more .
In all condition we should try to avoid our BlackBerry from any moisture intrusion or any liquid , liquid or moisture is the worst enemy of our BlackBerry or any electronic devices.
If its already too late then you should visit any mobile repair shop to know if they can repair it .

Problems with Home Sharing - works with some users but not all

Hi all,
On our Mac we have 3 different user accounts. Among the three, home sharing seems to work for two of them, but not three. For example, if I'm logged into User A's account, I'm able to access the library for users B & C. However, B & C are able to see user A's library, but items do not play or transfer. B & C can use each other's shared libraries without a problem.
Previously, all three users could use the other's libraries. I've done the obvious: restarted the computer, made sure sharing was turned on on all 3 accounts and synced the Apple ID and password on all three iTunes so that they're runing on the same Apple ID account.
The error I get when trying to transfer songs from A to either B or C is: "There was a problem downloading "[song name]". The URL "" could not be found on the server."
We're using iTunes 9.0.2.

Third party plugin only works on some track but used to work on all

I have been using Vacuumsound's ADT plugin for a long time now. I recorded a track in a project tonight and was going to use the plugin but it doesn't even show in the list. On other tracks where I used it before it shows in the list and on some tracks I have not used it on. I tried opening other projects and it's the same there. I can select the third party plugins on some track and some not. It has never been like that before. Anyone know why this is happening?

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have been through ALL of the troubleshooting steps and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for investigation.

Shift keys on thinkpad twist not working with certain keys

My shift keys stopped working with certain keys. asdfjkl;'zxcvm,. Those are the letters and symbols that my shift key stopped working with. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Okay, do the following.
1) Go into your control panel. You can get into this by either pressing Windows key + E, or search for control panel in the 'Search' box.
2) Now select View By, and choose 'Large Icon' or 'Small Icon', which is on the top right corner of the Control Panel screen.
3) Select 'Ease of Access Center'. Or you can skip step 1 and 2, by directly typing 'Ease of Access Center' in the search.
4) Select 'Make the Keyboard easier to use'.
5) Make sure you unselect 'Turn on Filter Keys' option.

Garagekey USB keyboard works with MacBook Pro, but not with 27" iMac

Just got a brandnew 27" iMac. The Garagekey USB keyboard doesn't work. It's recognized in systemProfiler, Audio-Midi Setup, GarageBand and Logic. But no Midi is coming in. When I plug it into my MacBook Pro, it works immediately. I know the Garagekey doesn't work with some 3rd party USB hubs, maybe for lack of enough power, but it works always at the internal USB hubs with the MacBook Pro. Why doesn't it with the 27" iMac? I'm cueless...
The IMac Systemprofiler says: Current Available (mA) 500, Current Required (mA) 300. So I guess, it can't be a power problem?

Have the same problem with Logic Pro. Works on my old Mac Mini but not on the new iMac 27" i5. Apple told me that it is a difference between the boards they used on the two computers. They said that even if I got a new mac mini I would run into the same problem. they recommended that I upgrade my mini, or try another piece of hardware to connect the two. Looking for hardware now. I don't know if this will help someone but I am posting this for that purpose. In the past when I first had this problem, I'd read a post somewhere (sorry, long ago, don't have the link) where an individual was having the same problem and they stated that when the MBP got heated, that's when the keys would stop working, and they went into the MBP and jiggle some stuff around (a specific wire, I'm not electronically inclined so I know NOT of what they spake!). Well I didn't want to do that but it always stuck in the back of my mind. I had given up, really, and was planning to take my MBP to the apple store. But by chance one night I left my MBP on the floor where it's cool, and when I turned it on, the problem went - poof! It seems there was some validity to the post that spoke about heat, because my problems started when I would stream foreign dramas on my MBP for hours at night, and I would hear the fan going off all the time, and in the mornings, my "p", "enter", "0", ";", and all the function keys would stop working.
So, maybe try keeping the MBP in a cool place when it's off. Since I've started doing this overnight every night (keeping it on the cool floor, out of reach of any big feet), I have not had a single problem with my keyboard.
Hopefully this might help someone.

Since you have already done some sort of reset on your Airport Express, you might as well make sure it was a "hard reset" - follow the instructions for a hard reset found at:

Since your Mac is running Leopard, you need to configure the Airport Express using the Airport Utility found in the Applictions->Utilities folder. You cannot install the old software that was supplied on the CD you got with the Airport Express.
In future - if you do something bad with network settings on your Mac, do NOT try to fix it with the Airport Utility. The Airport Utility is only used to configure the Airport Express - and since the problem you have created is on the Mac and not the Airport Express, there is no need to be using the Airport Utility and especially there is no need to be resetting the Airport Express.

Is this an Internal or External iSight ?
In iChat, in the Video Menu (This is to the right of Buddies and may read Audio) is Camera Enabled Ticked ?
If it reads Audio open the Connection Doctor from that same menu.
In the connection Doctor open the Capabilities tab
Does it say your Internet Connection is too slow ?
At this point I would need to know which iChat Version.
However also look in the View Menu.
Is Show VIdeo Status ticked ? (this shows green Icons next to your Buddy Pic and those of your Buddies
Next go to the iChat Menu > Preferences > Video Section
Do you see a preview here ?
