Wireless NOT WORKING HELP ME!!

Question

all around my house i get wireless connection upstairs downstairs, the basement, even outside (diveway etc) but i recently moved my bedroom to a room above my garage in my home and the Wireless connection that i get everywhere else i cant get in that one room. We tried buying a stronger router. that did not work. I can get a connection further away from my new room, just not in my room. How do I solve this?

Although there is a limit to the functional length of a USB cable in regard to
how a product at the end of it, may (or not) work, you could attempt to use
a USB wireless adapter with the computer in that location, and run a longer
USB cable toward the base station's location, so as to limit the distance from
one to the other. This, to see if there is a way to use wireless and not hardwire.
Probably, overall, a wired Ethernet network would be better once such a thing
were installed; since it is more secure and uses more reliable technologies.
If you have two AirPort Extreme Base Stations, you can link them; to see if a
larger wireless network could result. Mine can do this. Perhaps, to try & use
a wireless antenna or adapter on your portable computer, could help?
And one less source of interruption, depending on how the garage is wired
and what kind of wireless garage door opener is used to activate the door.
Even the extra metal and other built-in structural differences in the garage
could be suspect in contributing causes for no or poor wireless networking.
Metal rain gutters, roof flashings, trim; electrical wires in walls and ceilings,
metal hardware for the garage door, all of these could affect wireless. Any
appliances, such as freezers and other items in the garage, also may do it.
There are some amplified wireless adapters one may try, to see if you can
expand the wireless network, past whatever local interruption exists. Yet,
if there is too much wood, metal, sheetrock layers, or other products in the
walls or overlapping roofs, or long metal items (pipes, downspouts, etc) all
of these items may be acting in concert to block out your wireless.
Within legal limits on how powerful your wireless network can be amplified,
there are some retail products for expanding a wireless network and one
of them is considered a Transceiver; upward of 4 watts. However, it will not
remove structural blocks in the building's construction; and if you expand a
local wireless network power too well, neighbors may be tempted to hack in.
Then, you can try other security methods to hide your network, if it happens!
Probably an Ethernet local network with only a few wireless access points,
made as secure as possible, would be the better way to go. Initially, it may
cost some time, money and effort to install the wires and Ethernet hardware.
