Wireless novice here...CAn you tell me which product I need to purchase

Hi we are setting up our home wireless network. My hubby has a PC laptop for work. We just installed a wireless network via Comcast high speed. I was told I need to purchase "airport" for my Mac. Exactly which products do I need to purchase in order to receive a wireless internet connection on my Mac?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Any other tips to make this as effortless as possible are appreciated. I have been trying to estblish a wireless internet connection for months-eyes seem to glaze over when I mention that I have a Mac.

Depending on the model of your iMac G5, it is either AirPort Extreme ready or it already has AirPort Extreme built-in.
Models that are AirPort Extreme ready: M9248LL/A, M9249LL/A & M9250LL/A
Models with AirPort Extreme built-in (after May 2005): M9843, M9844, M9845, MA063LL/A, & MA064LL/A

You will need a 12 watt adaptor for the iPad Mini, so use the one that came with it. The phone can be charged from the same adaptor. Charging speed should be the same although everything in Italy runs slower.
You will need a wall outlet plug adaptor.

You can do this in multiple programs (photoshop, Illustrator & acrobat).
In Acrobat just open the PDF the go to File>Export>Image>jpeg.
In photoshop you can open the pdf the just save as .jpeg.
In Illustrator you can open the PDF then export as a jpeg.

The cable from the power adapter (charger) to my 3rd generation iPad is fraying, but it looks like the available cables now have a different end on them. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to purchase to replace the cable (adapter too?). I also noticed the power adapters are now 5 or 12 watt, but the one that came with my iPad is a 10 watt. Is this going to be an issue?

iTunes can be scripted, for example, to create a playlist of all the tunes without artwork.
I dont know if a windows version of this mac script exists but it is also possible to then create a script to then populate the artworks automatically as shown here.
An example of a PC iTunes script is this one.

I have run the program to check a problem that I'm having. The particularly with video, and also volume structure. TEchTool Delux reports a failure for both of these components.
I am wondering if this is realistic or not, given the start-up screen for TechTool Delux mentions on start-up that it has yet to be tested fully with Lion?

Yes, I understand, however, he Macbook is out of its Applecare, but the TechTool it still on the machine. Does that entitle me to an upgrade in TechTool?
I suspect not, hoever, seeing I am running Lion, I am not sure at all? If you can answer this question it will help as then Imight be able to solve the problem I'm having.

Nobody can tell you anything without knowing exact site and server specs, but I would suspect that naming the folder "html" wasn't the brightest of ideas, since that's usually a default (invisible) folder name existing somewhere on the server and the user not having privileges to overwrite it.

I know ipad albums are more like tagging photos rather than putting them in folders. I just have a nagging feeling I missed some pics and I have too many to try to go figure out one by one. I don't look at my photos from the camera roll, only from albums I tagged just because I imported photos from different sources and the dates and order is really messed up. I just want to know that I am viewing all the photos from like this vacation or that event and there's none I missed that are only in the camera roll.

the reason i ask is where i live there is only the bt-pcp and the drl-fttc cabinet and no others.
from what i heard is that both BT and DRL occupy the same fttc cabinet, and this would suggest so based on other information received.
yet from other information i'm hearing is that they don't and we're probably wired all the way back to the exchange which i would have thought was a bit odd seeing with 3 miles from exchange (as the crow flies).
so is it possible that they use the same cabs?

yeh am on infinity now and so far working fine
had one disconnection but thing that was caused by outage as took router a few attempts to re-connect, but other than that my pppoe has only dropped when made a change on router which required it to restart.
now been connected for 8 days without dropping (usually dropped every weekend when on DR) so continuing to monitor.
the engineer advised was connected via the cabinet in street, but only cabinets are the bt-pcp and the dr-fttc cabinets, and AFAIK BT and DR share the cabinet from what I've been previously told, but then someone else has said they won't do that and the connection is probably one that is underground if there is no bt-pcp.
i'll send Dean a message just so i know for future as i know the bt-pcp cabinet my number is connected too.

Suppose so. More specifiaclly though;
We know it's not a Classic.
If the last three characters of the serial number are not in the list shown for iPod (5th generation - late 2006) model, and yours (WEC) are not, then it is not an iPod (5th generation - late 2006) .
Providing the screen on your iPod is wider than the wheel underneath it, then it must, by default, be the iPod simply known as iPod (5th generation), available from October 2005.
If - by any chance, the screen on your iPod is the same width as the wheel underneath, then you actually have a very early iPod, prior to the 5th gen one.
So unless you realise otherwise, you have an iPod (5th generation), available from October 2005
