Wireless regulatory domain set to GB, even tho BO have been selected

Hello,
for some reason something is setting my wireless regulatory domain to GB right after wicd associates my adapter with my access point. I have selected the correct domain in /etc/conf.d/wireless-regdom (everything but my domain has been commented out, I have installed crda) and added wireless-regdom to my DAEMONS line. Does anybody have an idea what is changing it to GB?
Here's a paste of dmesg showing the problem

After doing some troubleshooting I have discovered that the GB regdom is set when I connect to my wireless accesspoint with wicd. Wicd uses wpa_supplicant, I have set COUNTRY=BO in wpa_supplicant.conf, but it didnt help. If I dont connect I get to use my wireless adapter with the BO regulatory settings. Its a big mystery, especially considering the fact that I'm not in the GB, havent been there with this computer and I didnt find any config files where this locale was set either. Does anybody have an idea?

Your download or install of the update may have been corrupt. Visit the Mac App Store and re-download the update or visit http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726 and download the 10.9.2 update combo and re-install.

  • Why won't my tabs & windows reopen as they should, even tho I have it set for them to do so?

Why won't my tabs & windows reopen as they should, even tho I have it set for them to do so?
"Firefox can be configured to restore all windows and tabs that were open when the application is closed or terminated unexpectedly. This article describes the circumstances under which your session is restored and how you can configure it."
I have it set up, in "Tools", "Options", etc., for my windows and tabs to reopen & be restored to the webpages that they were previously at before I, for one reason or another, restarted my computer! But, after I restart my computer and the Firefox browser, it always goes to my homepage; the windows & tabs NEVER restart as they should!
It wasn't always like this. It has only been within the last few weeks that this has become a constant and consistent problem. I assume that a Firefox update somehow disabled something & that's why it isn't working properly but, whatever...
How do I fix this so that my windows & tabs reopen as they should!?

Have you checked to make sure that under>> Options >> General >> That the startup behavior is appropriately? I had the same problem after upgrading and setting my homepage. It should be set to "show my windows and tabs from last time".
Just re-read your post. sounds like you've tried this already.

You buy one and only one download.
As it should have been transferred to your computer when you synced, you can contact itunes support and ask for an exception.

Carloyn Samit wrote: Never allow the free disk space to fall below 15% of the capacity.
This is an urban legend. First, since disk capacity varies greatly, giving this kind of percentage figure is completely worthless.
There are many variables involved in determining the amount of space to leave free: among them, the needs of the particular OS installed, installed RAM, typical need for VM, applications typically used, and anticipated need for free space overall, such as knowing one will be adding space hogging movies or other files. Much depends on the user's habits.
For one user, leaving 20-30GB free might be needed, for another 10GB or even less might suffice.
But it would be plain silly to suggest that one leave 15% of a 500GB or a 1 or 2GB drive. (75GB,150GB, 300GB respectively?) This kind of percentage suggestion was perhaps somewhat useful when drives were much, much smaller.)

  • Running out of disk space error even tho I have 200GB free!!

    Dear users,
I have a huge problem. I have dowloaded an application from the AppStore named "Virtual City" and once I try to play the game it crashes saying "Running out of disk space" even tho I have more than 200GB free on my hard disk.
I am using a MacBook Pro Mid April 2010 with Lion latest version.
    What could be the problem??
    Thanks in advance.

Did you try to reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Do you have an "other" section on your phone, bigger than 1GB? If yes, try to restore the phone to bring it back to normal size, it might contain corrupt data from an unsuccessful sync.

I have an iPhone 5s and in my iTunes music library have the songs checked that I want downloaded onto my phone. Instead of doing this, it is syncing all songs whether they are checked or not even tho I have the "sync only checked songs" box checked. So basically it's syncing all of the songs when I just want the checked ones on. This is very frustrating.

When your device is connected, check the tabs at the top ("Summary" "Apps" "Music," etc. Under the Music one, check to see if "Sync Music>entire music library" is checked. If it is, that may be why all the songs are syncing.

SHuffle does not play songs in a truly random fashion.  Like all computer related random generators the sequence is pseudo-random

after serval months of rebuidling and creating new identites for Outlook for mac2010 any reasons why this is constantly happening?

I am not sure what you mean by this.
is it ok to delete outlook ID's copy/backup as running out of space?
If you mean you have several identities in the Office Identities folder then yes. You can delete whatever you don need\want except for your current.
Are you updated to the latest version of Office?
After the restore, navigate to ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/your identity and delete the file called Database. Then rebuild.

printer not present when trying to connect even though drivers have been installed

    Hi Marc,
If you are having issues with printing from your iMac I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
    Mac 101: Printing (Mac OS X v10.6)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3771
    Specifically -
Troubleshooting steps you can use if there is an issue
Ensure the printer is connected, has power, has ink / toner, paper, and no alerts on its built-in display.
Network based printers should be on the same subnet; you shouldn't have to worry about this if your printer is on your home network.
Use Software Update for the latest available updates.
Delete the affected printer from Printer & Fax System Preferences, then re-add the printer.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system (see below). Then, add the printer again.
If the issue persists, reset the printing system again.  Download and install your printer's drivers from here. Then, add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Best,
    Brett L

  • Users stills appear to have transactions assigned even though roles have been removed.

    Hi,
I'm currently looking at a number of users with access to sensitive transactions (e.g. SCC4).
When looking at a combination of the AGR_ROLES and AGR_TCODES tables I can see there is currently only one active role and one active user assigned this access which would fall in line with what was to be expected based on the population I am looking at (we're not concentrating on auth object level for now).
However when I go through SUIM and filter on users by complex criteria and enter transaction code SCC4, about 20-30 users pop up (this is how many people used to be assigned access to SCC4).
When access was removed for these 20-30 users, it was done at 'role level' so my question is, even if roles have been removed, when looking through SUIM would a user still appear to have transactions associated with that role assigned - if so, why does this happen? I assumed once a role is removed it would removed the underlying transactions etc with it?
My assumption at the moment is that even though SUIM is showing users still have access to SCC4 they can't actually use it as the role it was associated with has been removed.
Any help/clarity on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Johnny,
Please do perform the User comparison.
Goto PFCG  -> Role Name -> user comparision
then check in SUIM still user is having that Tcode or not .
    for detail
    Go to SUIM
Roles by complex selection criteria -> put Tcode there
it will give you Roles name having that tcode . and then you go to that Role and you will get list of Users in PFCG (User assignment Tab) .
    same goes with User
SUIM - Users  by complex selection criteria - > put tcode -> Profiles associated with - > roles assosiated with it .
But i suggest after you make any changes to Role / Profile you please do user comparision .
    Regards
