Wireless says windows cant control this device
I am using boot camp with windows xp sp2 i loaded the drivers from the apple disk but whenever i try to select a wireless network it comes up saying that windows cant control the wireless device, and references wireless zero config. I have tried to start this service per Microsoft's instruction but every time I get a error message saying "Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion." I have searched trying to figure out how to solve this problem but havent come across anything. Can someone out there help me?
i am having the same problem on my mac pro when i try to use the airport card to connect to the wireless network in my house. I was using a Hawking wireless G USB adapter that worked fine on the windows partition nut would cause kernal panics in OSX. Hopefully someone can help us out because it is very frustrating.

my computer is not recognizing my ipod classic gen 5. it shows the sad face then i did the basic troubleshooting until logo comes out...
still my computer is not recognizing my ipod.. it still says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"See here: iPod displays a sad iPod icon
Note that it's often a good sign of a hardware issue with the iPod's hard drive meaning the iPod will need to be serviced or replaced.

Everytime i go to watch a video on youtube, weather it be the mobile site, desktop version or the app, it always says 'video unavailable on this device' this only started happening in the last few weeks! Can someone help???
Most YouTube content requires the Flash plugin. Sometimes it's necessary to uninstall then reinstall that plugin.
Uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Very important to uninstall the currently installed plugin first.
Now launch Safari and try a video.
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
You may also need to delete the cache associated with Safari .
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go the move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a video. -
hello once again.. i have formatted my external Hard drive it using exFAT, now my windows cant detect my device, can u plzz help me the whole purpose is getting ruined, i use Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
This is a problem with the Mac OS X implementation of exFAT. I've had the same problem.
Best is to use a Windows box to format the drive exFAT. Then it can be read by both Windows and Mac OS.
But aren't Macs supposed to "Just Work"? Not in this case. -
it says i must authorized this device before i can sync purchased albums to my nano
Authorization
Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

I have a workstation with following configurations:
Display adapter NVIDIA Quadra K4000
OS: Windows Server 2012 Standard (64 bit)
Hyper-V virtual GPU: NVIDIA K4000
Hyper-V VM 1: Windows 8 Enterprise 32 bit
Hyper-V VM 2: Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit
Both the 2 VMs above has the RemoteFX video adapter added and are supposed to have RemoteFX display working.
However it only works in the VM 1 (Windows 8). In the VM 2 (Windows 8.1) the display adapter (Microsoft RemoteFX Graphics Device - WDDM) is reported "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)"
Anyone ever experienced a similar issue?
Much appreciated :)

I just downloaded Snow Leopard to my Mac Book, now my ICalendar says I cant use this version of iCal with this version of Mac OS X, i currently have ICal 3.0.8.....what do i need to do?
Your profile shows you are running Snow Leopard. Put the Safari version you now have into the Trash. You need to reinstall Snow Leopard.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. -
