Wireless Sync is not working

Hey guys and girls. Today I am really bummed. I finally got around to upgrading my iPhone 4 to ios 5 beta 2 along with iTunes 10.5 beta 2 (yes the legal way) on my Windows XP pro desktop. Anyways, I upgraded both itunes and my iPhone 4 (Verizon version) and I have the "Wireless Sync" option highlighted in the settings>general location when my iphone is plugged into my desktop but it displays a WiFi network that is no longer my current network then whenever I unplug my iPhone the "Wireless Sync" option unhighlights itself and compltely locks that ability. Before anyone says it only works with Macs that is incorrect. The ios 5 information page clearly states "sync over your wireless network to your Mac or PC" so it does work on Windows. Also I did indeed try syncing my iPhone once over USB to try to get the "Sync Over WiFi" check box in the "Summary" tab to show up but that did not work. Any suggestions? Please I really need help.

Versamail Auto-sync feature not working with AOL mail w/Treo 700p (Verizon)

I'm having a problem with the Auto-sync feature not working with my 700p (verizon) with my aol mail. It had worked perfect since May 2007. Just started having problems End of April 2008. Sounded like I needed another incoming mail server from aol other than: imap.aol.com, aol told me they also use pop.aol.com, that isn't working either. I get an error message that says "last auto-sync attempt failed."....Anyone else having this issue? I'm trying to decide whether to get rid of my aol mail of 14 yrs and use other address to continue using versamail 3.5 or keep aol and use Verizon Wireless sync. I do not like how wireless sync sends mail to outbox and then syncs vs sending right away. Please help...

I am having the EXACT same problem: Palm 700p, Versamail, AOL, Verizon.
It started about 1 month ago. The GET still works, but AUTO-SYNC does not...After spending hours on the phone with Palm tech support, and reaching someone who said AOL had changed something in their servers. They suggested TRYING Chatteremail, another Palm product. I have tried it for 20+ days out of the 30 days you get for free. It works pretty well, but NOT every e-mail that goes to my AOL acct is making it to my phone. The thing that's great about Chatter is that can be "live" all of time. Not auto-syncing every 15 minutes.
It's very frustrating....The same way the Versamail just stopping auto-syncing is very frustrating. With Versamail, sometimes I did not even get the error message. If Chatteremail worked consistently, I would bite the bullet, and pay for it, but to pay for it, and have it not pull down all the e-mails, all the time is not good.
I spoke to Palm Tech Support in N. America today, and they say the way AOL uses IMAP servers is in a non-traditional way, and it's very hard to deal with. They suggest ditching AOL, and using something reliable for syncing purposes like GMAIL. It's just hard to cut the cord. The man I was on the phone with knew of my problem, and he solved it by getting rid of AOL. It's just tough, since so many people have the e-mail address for me.

there seems to be some indication when you click on Smart Phones on left, that Coming Soon is Palm, but I don't know if that's going to be downloadable for 700p, or Palms moving forward. Or how far away that is.
I tried wireless sync and hated it.
This is really a pain in the butt.

I also did a search and found another program called "Snappermail", which I might try, and see if it's any better than Chatteremail.

IOS 5 Wi-Fi Sync is not working.

Downloaded and installed iOS5 early today, and every other aspect of iOS5 seems to be running fine, but I cannot get the Wi-Fi Sync to work.
My PC is on, and iTunes is open (not sure if that is required or not, but figured just in case).
Wireless Sync does not automatically begin with I plug the iPhone into a power source, and the "Sync Now" button within settings is grayed out so I cannot press it. Below the sync now button it reads "Sync will resume when "Computer name" is available.
Syncing works fine when I plug the phone into the computer, and the "Sync Now" button then turns black, but as soon as I unplug it from the PC it goes gray again.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just got mine working! I too could manually Sync over WiFi, but no automatic syncing even after 8hrs on the charger, for either my iPhone 4 or iPad.
On a few sites they recommend checking iTunes Preferences -> Devices and ensure that
"Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically" was unchecked -
Which mine was.
I had also uchecked/checked the "Sync with this iXxxx over WiFi" was enabled - no luck for days.
Finally I noticed a consistent item on screenshots of those who claimed it was working:
The "Open iTunes when this iXxxx is connected" option was checked - since I have my iTunes set to start when the iMac does mine was unchecked.
I enabled that for both, rebooted everything and it worked like a champ.
To validate I disabled the "Open..." item on my iPad and left it enabled for my iPhone 4 - the iPhone still syncs on WiFi when I put it in my desktop dock (that is only plugged into the AC/USB power supply) but the iPad does not. I re-enabled it for the iPad, re-docked and the sync started immediately.
*** I see the fix is the same by the post above me, I didn't see this earlier, but it get's the same solution! ***

With the printer ON, unplug power from the back of the printer for 30 seconds. Does that reset the radio?

Please disregard. I figured it out. Answer for anyone else running into this problem: You have to turn off iTunes Match on both devices. Apparently, if you activate iTunes Match it deactivates your abiltiy to direct sync.

Do you get a steady green light to say there is a connection. If not, are the batteries the right way round. Do you have a monitor to tell the batteries strength. Is there a reading. Are the batteries good quality ones, Duracell, Energiser or Apple rechargeables.

Windows 8.1 freeze on any hardware scan or changes. USB wireless keyboard mouse not working

Problem : System Freezes frequently on any hardware scan or changes.
Symptom : Wireless Keyboard Mouse not working.
Caused by : VMkbd.sys located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers.
Issue : VMware player or VMware Workstation installed on Windows 8.1 causes compatibility issue leading to system freeze
Soultion : Please follow steps below
Step 1: Start > run > regedit
Step 2: Locate to this registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96b-e325-11ce-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Step 3: On the left side plane, Right click on the registry {4d36e96b-e325-11ce-BFC1-08002BE10318} and then export it as backup. Just to be safe.
Step 4: Edit the UpperFilters, The value current would be kdbclass vmkbd. Remove the vmkbd. So only value left would be kbdclass.
Step 5: Restart your system and connect your USB wireless reciever. If all is well it will not freeze your windows now.

well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

Wrt610n wireless network does not work after firmeware upgrade

I just updated my Wrt610n hardware version 1 to the newest firmware, it did finish with sucess, I did factory reset reboot and reconfig. But the wireless network does not work , cant connect computers to it. Did downgrade the firmware to the same it was and restore my settings but still wireless does not work. But router works fine with lan. Any suggestions? maybe the firmware tosted the router?

Update -
After last reset and reupgrade with the newest firmware for hardware version 1 I could config the router and connect 2 computers with wireless - but only for about 15 mín - then they lost connection and could not reconnect.
I did then get the newest update for hardeware version 2 - just to try and upgraded with that and got success, and now I have reset the router again and config it and those 2 computers are connected and have been for 1 hour now. So seems to be working - is it okay to have the firmware for hardware version 2 on my version 1 router?
Any thought what is going on - could it be that the other firmware had not loaded compleytle or?

Wireless net does not work after installing SP1 for Vista - Error code 10

After installing Vista SP1 on my computer (T61 - Vista Business 32 bit) my intel 82566mm wireless net does not work.
Windows says "Error code 10" and suggests that I update the driver. I have downloaded the newest driver via another computer, but it does not help. Still error code 10.
Any one else has the same problem?

I fixed the problem. Uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it clean. Looks like upgrading is problematic.

Wireless key will not work

I just moved my mac mini to my new apartment and my wireless keyboard will not work. My man mini model is A1103. The problem is that I need to type in a password to get on my mac to get to the bluetooth config screen. So I'm stuck at the login screen with a keyboard that just blinks. Its also my TV so im goin nuts. PLZ help.

If you know someone with an USB keyboard, borrow it and use it to input the password. It doesn't need to have been made by Apple or designed to be used with a Mac.

I've just installed Windows 7 x64 and Firefox 30. I've succesfully logged in with my Sync account but nothing happens. Sync is not working in this device but it does in others. Other devices have also the latest version of Firefox.

Please sign out of Firefox Sync on that device and log in one more time. I understand that you have successfully logged in, but nothing is happening.
If this is not helping, I would recommend creating a new profile and copying the that in the current profile into a new one. [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]]
