Wireless transmitter!

Somehow my wireless transmitter just stopped working. I´m wondering if there is an alternativ for this (find a new now) or if there is anyway to open it up and fix it?
So the problem is that the bluelight on the usb transmitter just died a few minutes ago and when i plugg it in it wont start again.. I have tried all my usb slots so there is nothing wrong with them.

Just tested something and it worked.
If I put the headphones all the way in, the mac recognizes it as a digital output.
But if i don't put it all the way in, it recognizes it as headphones and works perfectly.
It's probably this crappy headphones.
If anyone has the same problem, try this out.

I upgraded from a 1st generation to a 4th generation time capsule (model A4109) and since then my pay TV wireless transmitter has pulsating interference. This is obviously due to the new dual band frequency of the TC. Is there any way I can set it to one band and what will that do?

Go in and manually set the wireless channel for 2.4ghz or 5ghz (whichever your av sender is).. try different channels.

Apple TV wireless transmittal reception

I have my tv about 60' from my iMac & airport extreme with an airport express 1/2 way in-between. Should that allow wireless transmittal of HD moviesto an apple TV at the set?

Under most conditions this shouldn't be a problem, subject to there being no or minimal interference from other networks.

GPS & Canon 40d Wireless Transmitter-Import elevation also.

PC: I shoot RAW using a Canon 40d with the Wireless Transmitter, which uses a usb connection between my Garmin gps and the WT. LR includes the gps coordinate information in the metadata, allowing me to click on the field and be taken to Google Maps.
The frustrating part: Canon shows the *elevation* data (albeit in meters) when viewing the image in the camera, but LR won't import it. Ideally, Canon should also import the electronic compass bearing from the gps, and LR should import both data.
[Compass bearing is helpful for taking time-differentiated photos of the same area (e.g., 4-season photos), and elevation is handy for GIS use.]
Does anyone have an idea of *how* LR imports the gps data?

I'd also be very interested in learning this.
Don - if nobody replies to your thread or offers any suggestions it might be worth your while posting something along these lines in the features request. Who knows, perhaps the LR team will add some more functionality to the GPS input data in a future version.

Canon WFT-E5 wireless transmitter to Airport Extreme to Mac Pro?

Can I use an Airport Extreme to connect a Canon 7D using the WFT-E5 wireless transmitter to get files onto a Mac Pro?
Or is there a better way.
It needs to upload immediately, as soon as a shot is captured.

Slow connections, weak signal, dropped, lost signal after sleep...
While Apple has a good "troubleshooting networking" the Mac Pro using Wireless has had more of its own. I would pick up a Netgear router, go wired.

Tactic 3D Rage Wireless transmitter soft bricked

Hi guys,
When i was flashing TX firmware, transmitter unplugged then firmware installation was interrupted. Now wifi transmitter doesn't work.
Followed instructions;
Turned off headset
Ran transmitter firmware (SBTR_PCFW_US_TX_1_58_121101)
Then firmware installation was interrupted
Now the light on the wireless transmitter was no longer on
I think wifi transmitter bricked. How can i fix this problem Can anybody help me ?

Bluxe, If your transmitter is dead and not detected, there is no way to run the firmware update. I suggest you contact technical support here for RMA.

Please excuse me if I repeat my point for sake of illustration.
- model L7780 = WiFi capability without additional/external devices (WiFi must be inside, since it is not an accessory listed as "parcel list" in the L7780 box
- model L7680 = identical to L7780, except for the external second additional tray (available as spare part) and the WiFi capability.
Therefore, since the "HP Wireless Printing Upgrade Kit (Q6236A#A2L)" is not an item of the L7780 shipping list, I am looking about the availability of an internal additional circuit (WiFi transmitter) as a maintenace part for the L7780 that sure can be retrofitted in the L7680, beeing these two HP almost identical in the electronic boards inside, if I am not wrong.

So, I've lost my transmitter for my headset(Yeah, i know). However, the creative support is basically charging me for a new headset when I want to buy a transmitter from them, so I thought I could check if anyone here had an old, used one for sale?

Creative Centrale and Wireless transmitti

Ok... Finally figured out what was going on....
. I had full firewall on... no exceptions.
? I had to uncheck the box that said "Do not allow exceptions", and make sure creative centurals program was listed.
? When I did that, all things worked like they should.

Tactic 3d Rage Wireless Possible USB Transmitter Problem

Hi guys,
It is my 3rd rage wireless replacement (mini usb charging entrance were broken on the previous two).
So after unboxing it again, unfortunately I went to firmware page and upgraded the firmwares both usb transmitter and headphones. Nothing went wrong until I try to re pair the headphones with the usb transmitter.
Headphones are working with every buttons on it, it also gets into pairing mode (with fast blinking red lights). However the usb transmitter does nothing when I hold the connect button, it blinks normal instead of rapidly (as stated in the manual).
I tried everything and read many threads but could not find similar problem. I do not think that it is bricked but please help me if it is possible to fix this problem.
Yes it is ridiculous that a simple firmware upgrade is destroying such an expensive product. Shame on you creative!

Do you encounter any error(s) during the firmware update of the headset and the USB transmitter?
Do not connect it to the USB hub. At any one time, the headset and USB transmitter cannot connect together during firmware update; only separate update is allowed.
Here's the instructions given for updating USB transmitter via Windows:
- Download the file onto your local hard disk.
- Ensure that your Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless Transmitter is connected to your computer.
- Ensure that the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless Headset is removed from your computer.
- Un-compress the downloaded file to a folder in your local hard disk.
- Double-click <SBTR_PCFW_US_TX_1_59_140721.exe> from the folder which stores the uncompressed files.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- After the installation of the firmware is completed, unplug and plug in your transmitter and start pairing with the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless headset again.

Need Help With Wireless Bridging

Hello all, I have recently perchased high speed WiFi for my house so I could do some gaming on my Xbox. Problem is my roommate, who is a tech support professional, set the modem up in his bedroom, my Xbox is old and requires a wireless adapter to pick up signals but since the modem is so far away from it it barely recieves the signal. So currently I'm paying for nothing so I confronted him about this issue and he attempted to fix it by wirelessly bridging a router to the modem but after a month he hasn't succeeded and has given up so now it's up to me and I have no clue where to even begin. The modem we have is a Cisco DPC3825 and the router is a NetGear Wireless-N Router WVR2000 V2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Denver: I did not actually understand what kind of bridging you want to do?
The modem already has a wireless transmitter. I think you mean the router is picking up the wireless signal and provide the xbox with connectivity via wired cable. is that right?
If correct, It looks like the issue is with the distance/barriers between your modem and router. You need to try to eliminate some barriers in between to get better signl. Try also to put the devices as close as possible to each other.
