Wirless conection problem

I chaned the password on my wirless router so i need to re enter the new password on my iphone 3gs so i can conect to it.
Anyone got any ideas how?

Settings>Wi-Fi>press on blue arrow next to your wifi name>Forget this network (at top). Then rejoin your wifi and enter the new password.

How I fixed my conection problem

Here's my setup:
Wireless IP (Motorola canopy)
The connection comes into the house as ethernet (I'm conected wirelessly to the ISP's router and it's using DHCP
That's pluged into an airport express that acts as a bridge to the ISP's router
iMac G4 wireless
Windows xp notebook wireless using a Netgear PCMCIA card
Son's XP desktop using a DLink internal wireless card
Symptoms:
This worked but after several hours the airport express wouls stop forwarding the new DHCP info. The green light was On but I could not connect to the internet wirelessly.
Here's how I fixed it:
I turned off ipv6 in the network settings. I had it set to Automatic. When I turned it off It has worked like it is suposed to.

The fact that you saw no glitches while running Logic before applying the update means almost nothing because that uses only a small subset of system resources. Far more significant is that Safe Mode restored some missing functionality: because it disables non-essential items like user fonts, third party drivers, & so on, it points to problems in those areas.

Separate & apart from that, it so happens that I'm a sound engineer/system designer/board operator with nearly 40 years of professional touring experience. FWIW, I never have & never will update the software of any system I must rely on professionally (whether it is running on a Mac, a PC, or dedicated hardware) unless & until I can thoroughly test it first and I have a trustworthy backup/recursion strategy to fall back on in case of problems.
I strongly suggest you learn from your unpleasant experience & do the same. I have had far fewer problems with Macs than with PC's, but nothing is 100% reliable to begin with. Changing the OS software part way through the tour is just asking for trouble, no matter how reliable that has been in the past. Even if the budget allows for nothing better than a stack of burned CD's & a couple of consumer grade CD players, no professional tour can afford to be without some fallback strategy in place. That should be self-evident & require no warning from Apple or anybody else.

TC Internet Conection problems

I've had my time capsule for a few months working perfect.
A week ago I started having problems with the internet conection. I've read about different people with similar problems but here it goes:
TC conected to cable modem
iMac OSX 10.8.2 conected to TC via ethernet.
Apple TV, Macbook Air OSX 10.8.2, iPhone, etc conected wirelessly.
I have no access to the internet but the TC light stays green and all the modem lights are on.
So everything seems ok but I just cant access the internet on any device conected to the wireless signal. Sometimes it will work for just a few minutes, sometimes for hours. But keeps doing that all day, for a week now.
I called the internet company and they had some stuff done on their network the same day that I started to loose the internet.
But they have already fixed the problem and I keep getting internet problems.
Should I have the TC replaced?

Factory reset and follow the instructions..
Then reboot the whole network.. restart from off.. everything off..
modem.. wait 2min
TC.. wait 2min
Client computers.
Make sure everything gets correct IP address.
If you have issues, install 5.6 utility if you use lion or even mountain lion.. then you have access to the log.. without it you have nothing.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
2. Download and install unpkg.

Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

T400 wireless conection problem

I reload my T400 with Windows xp.sp2 recovery DVD. Then upgrade to xp.sp3 and renew all drivers(bios & firmware) with the latest at Lenovo website.
After that, I have problem for wireless connection after startup. Browser shows "website xxx, found waiting for reply...", no connection at the end. My wirelesscard is Intel(R) WiFi Link 5300 AGN, T400 27671G.
Checking the system event viewer, it gives an error & warning:

The SessionLauncher service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified.
------------------ dhcp warning
Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address xxxxxxx. The following error occurred:
The semaphore timeout period has expired. . Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.
Anyone has the same issue?
Appreciate any advice...

I have this Lenovo T400 new ThinkPad and its detecting all Wirless routers in my neighbourhood but not my new Netgear Super G WGT624 wireles router.
I have another laptop Dell Latitude in the same household 630 with Which I can connect to the Netgear router.
What is the reason, if there some kind of mismatch in the Wireless drivers, or its the hardware.
I am stuck up with Laptop and the router.

Can anyone help me restore an ipod itouch ,tried restore on itunes but it fails everytime the error code says it's a conection problem i have 2 computers and tried all usb ports but keephaving the same problem ,even bought a new connection cable

Went to update the ipod touch and it wiped out everything , Itunes keeps trying to restore it but fails everytime giving me an error that it cannot see my ipod yet it sees it and tries to restore it everytime i connect the ipod to the pc , the help file suggested i reinstall the latest version of I tunes so i did i tried using different ports on 2 computers and also bought a new connection cable but still won't restore can anyone help?

N95 conection problem in Australia

G'Day People. I just purchased a used N95-1 and have no network conection. I live in rural QLD and I was wondering if this phone is Telstra "Bluetick" compatable?? Any advice would be helpful. I have been told by some friends it should work, so I'm not sure if I have a setting wrong or something. I have just installed all the latest updates available.

Correct me if I am wrong but as far as I can tell the Telstra Bluetick compatibility required the UMTS 850 band and this band is not supported by the N95 which only supports UMTS on the 2100mhs band.

N97 update/conectivity problems

I have a branded (3) mobile N97 and i had a hard time getting the pc suite and SWupdater to find it, i reinstalled the most up to date vers and still nothing. aprently it a driver issue so i uninstalled anything that says noika on it incl conectivity drivers. i then restarted and then installed ovi suite which comes with drivers and bam it reconised the phone and i am now up to date.

Hi, having more than one piece of nokia suite on at one time , may cause conflict. Try uninstalling NSU, run Nokia PC Cleaner (download from top of page) and try using Ovi suite to update.

Conection problem

Ok this is my problem I play an on line browser game called Travian, I've been playing for months with no Problems. Starting yesterday I now can't get onto the login page for my particular server. I can get on every other server without problem, but not the one I need. If I take my router (WRT54G) out of the loop I can get on, but that is not an option on a regular basis. I've tried upgrading firmware, now at v4.20.4, is the firmware a likely problem as it is very time consuming process as it doesn’t always upgrade at the first attempt. I can get on every page on the internet but this one, any ideas please?

Do you experience the exact same problem on all the computer's ? If not then try resetting your browser or try a different browser...
Also, after any firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you have not done this since your last firmware upgrade, please do this now and see if it corrects your problem. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it...

Discover - DB 10g conection problem

I have a problem connecting Disocverer Plus to DB 10g.
DB 10g is located on a different server than Discoverer. All windows environment. When I enter DB name it gives me ORA-12154 error.
Question – I searched all the documents and it doesn’t say how to configure DB 10g to work with Discoverer. Could some one help me pointing me in a right direction?
I added Database connection on the DB 10g listener. Do I have to do it on the BI listener as well. So complicated and no guidance.

on the ApplicationServer (AS) Machine,
use the AS "net manager" to add a known database.
then try on the AS machine the tnsping "mydatabase"
the databasename should be resolved
now the discoverer is also able to resolve the name (connect identifier)

BICS Conection problem with prompts

Hi, All.
I have one problem with prompts in Webi 4.0. I build BEx query on the Infoset, create OLAP Connection in IDT. And then I try build webi reports appear one problem, I try create prompt on key field, but I cannot do this. Earlier, then I do report on universe I can do this. Can anybody give me advise by this problem?

I agree with you but Bex do not allow you to have a restiction to certain values and then a variable on top of that. I have to build the filter in the Webi report and I cannot build it on the description. I have to build it on the key.

I have a strange problem that I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on?
I have a 4400 WLC that is authenticating users against a Cisco 3310 Guest server. Once authenticated they are not being moved from the Authentication VLAN on the CAM.
I see the users created on the CAM. I see the Device identified on the CAM from the SNMP trap sent by the WLC. I see the radius accounting package sent from the CAS to the CAM and the user listed under active users on the CAS. However I never see any users listed on the CAM or indentified in the OOB users list?
I have Role mapping setup, but allthough I get successfully logged in, it would seem that the CAS/CAM does not recognise this and switch the user from auth VLAN to access VLAN. If I check the client status on the WLC I see all Authentication correct, just state set to Quaranteen.
I am going round in circles here.

WRT160n V3 wirless connectivity problems?

Recently i have been having problems connecting to my wireless connections. I have one pc that uses a wireless N card (internal, laptop) and i have one that uses G. Both laptops have been having connection issues, and its intermittent. I have several other devices that connect fine. When i unplug the router or about 3 seconds and plug it back in, it reboots fine and im able to connect fine. I have also updated to the latest firmware but no changes. Any ideas on what is causing this?

As I have mentioned, there might be other devices or network that interferes with your network. Try Channel 1, 6 or 11. If the issue persists after trying each channel, try to reset it to default and start the settings from scratch.

WRT54G Language and conecting problem.

I have router Linksys WRT54G version 7. When I installing my router first time everything worked OK. When I installing my routers in my parents DSL link, it doesnt work. I gave this error message Step 9: Sender Error while upgrading the router's language pack I find in this forum, I tried 192.168.1.1/language.htm to upgrade language from routers CD in directory Pack/en_lang.bin. It gave me white window with black border without any text or buttons. When I try to read web based menu, I see only graphics and numbers without any text. I cant change anything. In step 10 : Router configuration error. Would you like to try again? and Unable to connect the Router. Check the cable connection from the computer to the router. Cables are OK, because internet on main PC works fine, wirelles I cant configure, I doesnt see menus. I tryed RESET button, my firmare is last official 7.00.4. Sorry for my english.

Basically, your router's firmware has been corrupted. With the same reason, the configuration or setup page is corrupted as well. This means that you cannot do a firmware upgrade by using the router's setup page (The one that you usually access through 192.168.1.1).
To solve this problem, you may need to download a certain application that will help you in upgrading the router's firmware instead of using the router's setup page since in the first place, it is corrupted.
You need to download TFTP.exe (The application that upgrades the firmware of the router rather than using the setup page) and finally the Firmware file that is downloadable from the Linksys website.
