Wirless Keeps Disconecting

I have just renewed my Contract with BT and although I had no problems with connection re wirless the Call Taker almost insisted I took delivery of a Hub4. Then my problems started every 20 minutes wirless drops and I have to let windows re set it. Spoke to the Help Desk on 2 occasions both stated there was a problem with my phone line even though I was speaking to them on it. Channel changes make no difference. On the last occasion on speaking with the Help desk they informed me there was yet again a fault and it would take 5 days to correct. Having had enough connected a old Hub2 everything back to normal. Are there known problems with the Hub 4 or is it as I suspect the Hub is faulty. Just to add to tamt my Iphone does not even identify with the Hub even If I stand next to it no problems at all with old Hub.

Try using another usb cord & rear usb ports if using a desktop or usb ports directly on the laptop no hubs.

20/20 via watchabc keeps disconecting after 5 minutes

We were able to watch 20/20 via WatchABC on our appleTV up until early December 2014. It seems like WatchABC was upgraded and now it cuts out about every 5 minutes. The AppelTV reboots and I have to go back in to WatchABC app and select 20/20 to Resume playing were it left off. I do not have this problem with other content on the appleTV outside WatchABC. Is there a setting I need to change for WatchABC?

Appears to be working now.
I just got a messgae back from WatchABC. They informed me that they are aware of the problem and attempting to fix. There are some steps you can take on your own to see if it fixes the problem, see below.

My time capsule keeps disconecting from my Mac mini

Hello my time capsule that I am using as my iTunes storage drive keeps disconnecting its self of becoming disconnected from the Mac mini any ideas why.

This is asked several times a day.. obviously people are struggling with their latest SSD being too small.
The TC is not suitable for network file server.. but many people having no choice press it into service as such.
It cannot be partitioned. It was and is and ever shall be a backup device for Time Machine.
Major issues.
1. No backup.. no way Time Machine can backup a network drive. No place to backup to.. So all your files will be at risk. And you will need to buy a third party like CCC to do backup.
2. The TC cannot be partitioned and mixing TM backups and data is not great.
3. The drive is slow to spin up and quick to spin down.. there is no controls.
4. iPhoto in particular can easily corrupt its entire library with wireless networking causing a disconnection to one photo. Even if you do this;;; do not move your photo library... you have been warned!!
5. iTunes will constantly lose connection to the library. The disk is too slow to respond.. itunes on the computer will constantly spit out errors. Even in the midst of streaming the TC can spin down the disk due to caching.
6. Do not use any live files on the TC no matter what else you do.. if you edit files in whatever program the file must be on the local hard disk.
7. The only suitable location for most libraries is a computer. You can plug in an external hard disk.

What you are experiencing is exactly why the TC is the wrong location for your library.
You might be able to slightly improve things..
You should use all SMB compatible names.. so that means short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric for everything.
You should use static IP or the TC itself .. this will be normal if the TC is router but if it is bridged the IP can keep changing.. so you want that to not happen.
And particularly in Mavericks you want to manually mount the TC by IP address.
Go, connect to server.. and type in the IP eg by default it is 10.0.1.1
AFP://10.0.1.1
Then you can save the password, public by default into your keychain.
This may help somewhat.. but in the end the TC is unsuited to this task.

Bluetooth keeps disconecting

I Recenty bought a Panasonic Link to cell Telephone and paired it with my iphone 4 as well as my wife's non-IOS phone. I tworks great except that the blue tooth disconnects about half the time I get a text (e-mails and other push notices don't seem to have an issue). When I go into settings and press the connection it reconnects in seconds. My wife's phone does not have any issues and it is kept futher away than mine as well. Has anyone heard of this type of thing happening or seen a solution? I am running IOS 5.1 and double checked that it is up to date.

Galaxy S6 keeps disconecting from my cars blue tooth

The bluetooth also automatically conects and starts music on its own.

Oh my! I can see that becoming pretty annoying, 9ladybug. When it disconnects, do you see any error message? Are you able to successfully connect to any other Bluetooth capable devices? Have you ever been able to remain connected to your car's Bluetooth with the S6?

My internet keeps disconecting, my internet keeps disconecting

I have a late 2009 Imac 21.5 running Mac OS X v10.7.2, 3.06 GHz intel core 2 duo and it will disconnect to the wifi but show it still connected and then eventually reconect. But most times i have to connect manually? is this just me or does this do this with other Imac's?

Disconnection problems with online gaming - world ...

Other users on BT have alos reoported issues with game hangs and diconnection issues with World of Tanks.
They seem to have started a few days ago. Someitme it is intermittant other times it can last for several minutes.

Having the same issue since yesterday 6th September 2012.
World of Tank client keeps disconecting, then has issues logging back in to the client.
This seems to be hapening to a lot of other players in the UK all on BT

HT1695 why can't i connect to my wifi in my house

my wifi keeps disconecting from my phone and its making me use my 3g

Does the iPod see the network?
Does the iPod see/connect to other networks?
Is this the problem?

World of Tanks connection issues

Having an issue since yesterday 6th September 2012 with World of Tanks
World of Tank client keeps disconecting, then has issues logging back in to the client. This is a game I pay a monthly suscriction to, so being unable to use its service is extremly frustrating.
This seems to be happening to a lot of other players in the UK all on BT as the link from the official World of Tanks forum below shows

As has been suggested on other posts on this subject post your hub stats a full BT speed test and a trace route to the games server then use this link to the forum mods for them to investigate

Loose Thunderbolt connections and SD cards not reading

I will give it a try to see if someone can assist me. I am having some issuew with my MacBook Pro 15 Retina laptoop. The thunderbolt connections seem to be very loose and one slight movment or pull on the cable disconetcts what ever is conncected. Here some examples. The thunderbolt ethernet connector keeps disconection with just a slight wiggle on the port. My hard drive ejects by it self ( which is a pain as you loose a lot of work and the drive corrupts eventulally) and one other issue I had was when doing a live broadcast the video feed from my Blackmagic box got interrupted all the time. So my questions is there anyway to tighten the connectors so they are as tight in the computer as they are for example on my GDrive. Also my SD card reader is not reading any cards anymore.
I have to say and I hope a apple technicain is reading that that i am not to impressed with the quality of this particual model. even so I dished out over US$4,000 for everying. After about 6 weeks i had pixles dropping out on my display right now i have about 15 dead pixels ( already contacted apple support but i have to sent it in but right now can not afford being without a computer is my bread and butter and can not affored a second one luckily i have the protection plan and hope i find the time to sent it in.
Now the issuew with the thunderbolt is very annoying sorry Apple for that price conectors should be fitting nice and snug and not loose like they do now.
I love the perfromance and the display ( besides the dead pixles) but hope apple will improve and bring out a better machine and will look at all the details
so hope someone has some idea how to get a better fit with the thunderbot

Personal Hotspot driving me crazy wont stay connected!!!!!

I can not stay connected to personal hotspot for more then a minute or two and it keeps disconecting. I have searched all over and seen other people with the same problem and no solutions. Please someone help. It was working and I was able to use it to stream and download things on my computer. I was hoping to use personal hotspot also to update to iOS 5 as the wifi where I am is pain stackingly slow! My phone is not going into sleep I have tried playing music in the background,playing games at the same time, and have had auto lock turned off. I have left it on the personal hotspot screen also. Nothing with work and its driving me nuts that I can not figure this out. I have unlimited tethering set up and would like to watch netflix,hockey games and do my update. Please someone help with this or at least just let me know there is no solution.

Does your Laptop loose wireless connection or it's just your Wii ?
Have you tried resetting your Wireless Router ?
If your Laptop is also loosing the Wireless Connection then problem will be with your router, else it could be Wii...

New Computer can't see Apple TV

I have a mac book pro that I had been using to sync to my apple to tv. I recently bought a mac pro and did the migration to it but the new one can't seem to see the TV even though I marked in preferences for it too. Are their any suggestions of things that maybe I did wrong? The laptop can still see it but it is gonna be a pain if I have to keep disconecting the external drive that holds all the media in order for to use it on the laptop for syncing.

I was meaning more in respect of migrating your itunes library. It's not necessary to try to copy over the itunes application itself. Indeed it should already be on a new mac, you may however need to update it to 7.3.1. What you should have done in brief is move your itunes folder (~/user/Music/iTunes) from your old mac to your new one, connect the external HD with your music on, open itunes and ensure that the HD is selected as your music folder location. I'm assuming you have done this.
You will also need to turn of syncing between your old mac and the tv (it will only sync with one itunes library) and register your new one as the primary source (the pass code thing), you could then register your old mac for streaming only if you wished.
Everything should now be working for you. If not where do things start to go wrong for you/how far do you get.

Look in the Network System Preferences. If you're using a modem you can see some of the settings by clicking the PPP Options button.
I'm stuck with dial-up and these Tiger updates are getting too big to download for me, too. My ISP gives "unlimited" access but also disconnects after 8 hours (busy or not).
I have friends with high speed connections and I ask them to do these large downloads. They transfer the file to Flash media which I mount, install and then delete.

Airport Extreme 'n' Disk Utility

I have successfully attached an Ethernet LaCie Hard Drive to one of the Ethernet ports and USB Lacie Hard Drive to the USB port (via a hub as I share this port with a printer).
However, the USB drive keeps disconecting and if I try to reconnect, I get an error message saying it cannot find it. The Ethernet Drive still remains available
The Airport remains connected to all my machines, I have access to internet, the printer, I can share files from one machine to another. It is just the Hard Drive that disconnects. I have tried Airport Disk Utility, but no luck. I have to unplug the Airport or re-boot to regain access.
This is happening at least once a day so it is getting a little annoying.
I have tried other USB cables and other ports on the hub.
Has anyone had similar issues?

I had three evenings of deep frustration with my new AEBS-N. A lot of this was due to poor documentation. In searching for help and sustenance I found that the issues with the hard disk seem to take up a lot of threads here - encouraging in some way.
I have an Iomega minimax with a built in hub that I bought specificaly to go with the new AEBS. One problem I had was apparent radio interference from the hard disk - sorted with a tin-foil hat!!! It now seems to be working as it has been up for a week and behaves: at least it is there when I need it. Looking back over all the things I tried I think that the "Unknown user, incorrect password, or login is disabled..." messages came a lot from not understanding how accounts worked with the disk, which is where good documentation would have helped. Where is it written that if you use guest access it creates a folder "shared" on your disk? I needed some experiments to find out the affect of partitions, etc etc.
Maybe not much help to your specific problems... but I want to add my voice: we do need help from Apple. This seems to be one product that has lacked care and attention before launch.
