Wish for the dual toned function

I'm from Germany, so I hope you'll understand me:
One thing I miss at the dual tone function in Lightroom 3 Beta 2 is the possibility to set the satiation down. I love this function and work a lot with it. It would be great to have a slide control for the satiation which sets the intensity of the dual tone down so that I don't have to reduce both satiations of every colour. It's always hard to find the exact balance again.
I am using Lightroom 3 Beta 2 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and a Core i7 920 CPU with 6 GB RAM.

IWeb Bugs and a wish for the future. :)

Two issues that I've found moving my photoblog to iWeb, and I'm wondering if they are bugs or issues that the community knows about:
1. I've changed the template I used a lot - font colours, background, etc. Now when I create a new blog entry, it uses the old, standard template and I have to change everything again. Is there a way to make iWeb realise that I've changed my "default" template settings so all new entries remain the same? It seems not. This is my feature wish.
2. Related to this, I solve this problem by just duplicating one of my existing pages and then changing the photo and content and date. The PROBLEM with this is where i think the bug exists. In iWeb, when I click Next/Previous, it goes between the different entries in chronological order, as expected... but when it publishes to .Mac, the next/previous buttons are really messed up, linking to articles/pages that are not even close to being near them in order. I've been able to determine that:
a. Create three new entries in iWeb. Works good.
b. Duplicate the middle entry, put it LAST in the order.
c. The NEXT button on this new, last entry links to the third item, just as the original 2nd item did before I duplicated it.
Is there any way to make iWeb re-calculate the next and previous buttons before you publish it? Or even better, any Apple folks around that can confirm/escalate this?
UPDATE: It's also possible that iWeb is ordering the next and previous buttons based on the time the entry was created in iWeb, rather then the time specified on the entry. If you are porting older entries from a previous blog, this can be a pain because you're not necessarily putting entries in from oldest to newest.
Either way - the behaviour isn't as expected: next and previous buttons ordered by the date specified in the iWeb 'Entries' window.
3. This is more advanced, but seems a bug none the less. I use .Mac publishing, because it's integrated and easy. But I also have my down domain, which I have configured to just "forward" to my .Mac folder. So, when someone goes to www.mydomain.com, the server connects to web.mac.com/me/iWeb/ and makes the request, translating the path. This works really great (save some initial headaches with character encoding), but comments in iWeb blogs don't work when you do this.
They work directly when you go directly to .Mac, but something about the comment system requires that the client browser accurately present the URL to the .Mac server, and in my case, it's reporting my domain name. As a result, when you click to add a comment, you get a "there has been an error" page and it dies.
If this little annoyance could be fixed in a point release version of iWeb, that would be AMAZING.
4. Lastly, one more wish for the future. .mac domain hosting. Domains aren't just for businesses - lots of people have them for their blog/photos/etc now. If I could make my domain point to my .Mac web hosting without any messy translation, I'd be in heaven. I don't even care if I only get my single e-mail address on the domain - just the hosting would be so excellent.

It sounds like it! I ported about 10 new posts from my old MovableType installation last night and am seeing the same behaviour - duplicating entries definately breaks the chronological order of next/previous.

You create new or edit Fm in SE37. You also put the code for that FM in SE37.
You can call it through pattern button in SE38, where u pass the importing and exporting parameters of that Fm

by looking at the specs the laptop is better but if your not a gamer or graphics designer then you most likly wont notice a difference in the performance at all so with that said a few downsides
the processor is i5 the i7 processor is the better processor the graphics card has half the dedicated memory that the laptop has and the hdd compared to the solid state is not much of a difference unless you wanna move your computer all the time you wont need a solid state drive
but like i said before if your not a gamer or graphics designer on your computer you will not notice the difference most likely

Wishing for the OLD OTN look & Attitude

Everyone,
You know, lately OTN has become more and more sterile. I wish for the old graphic rich, bit of a cowboy attitude OTN site. Bit of a Hacker mentality as well.
Anybody else getting fed up of the OTN becoming just another sterile ORACLE corporate site? It has gotten so boring, that I do not spend a third of the time on it that I used to spend.
Anyone else have an opinion on their slow redesign?

Um, I only ever used 4.5 for about my first six months as a dev... CF5 came out then and we jumped to it as soon as we could.
I googled CF "An error occurred while attempting to establish a connection to the server" and came up with this:

2 Weeks With My Z10 And Wishes For The Next BlackBerry

Verizon BB Z10
Hardware :
I have in my possession BB Z10 from Verizon and Q10 from international carrier also Z10 from AT&T. I try to compare my own personal Z10 with the others including my Verizon Galaxy note 2, Droid Razr MAXX , iPhone 5 and Lumia 920.
My Z10 is very comfy on my hand. 1 hand usage.. I still prefer 1 hand usage for phone.. and for iOS user who switch back to BB Z10, It feels just perfectly placed on my palm
Usage:
My personal usage of cellphone is heavy duty emails/texts/web browse with basics entertainment such as netflix and youtube and including but not limited to using notepad and some C++ editor/compiler on my android. In this test I limited it to personal usage only and work related(texts,emails,games)
Early Usage :
The initial usage of my Z10 was very weird. it took me 12hrs of charging from 20% to full battery. Next cycle took me 8hrs and after that it took me about 4hrs 53mnt - 5hrs 15mnts give or take. The charging time awfully took a long time. I tried to resolve it with the Verizon customer service but they also did not have any idea as of why and what cause the phone to took some awful long time to charge the battery. Oh well I could live with it.
2 Weeks After :
- 3days into usage I got into random reboot problems that confirmed by BB support team is due to my OS 10.0.9.422. The support said it was a known issue with that OS and fixed with update of OS 10.1 which they said it was up to Verizon to push it out(no news whatsoever about the update from the Big Red Dracula Team).
-Prompted to install previous OS when connected to Link Desktop Software but prompted to install newer OS when check through OTA update
-Battery charging issue still plagued my phone until this time
-Sudden Reboot when opening heavy loaded website or bombarded by emails, texts and whatsapp all together
- Facebook is another Horror Movie come true... messages not sent, messages late came through or the notifications won't gone even when we already checked it. If that happen I must open my Facebook app to check it again. So what's the point that it linger around in the hub??
- Incompetent answer by the carrier customer rep as how to resolve my issues and problems.
-docs open swift and no problem
-Save screenshot or image from the item cannot be save directly to memory card.. Instead I must work around the system to save it to my phone and moved it to my memory card. What is the point..
Conclusion :
For a person who came from iOS and android I actually quite surprised and pleased. After given consideration for a while I realized that AT&T support for the BB platform was actually better than Verizon( I owned BB 9900 and 9930 previously also). It was too bad that my Carrier(Verizon) did not support BB10 all through the way. BB10 is a very solid platform who still keep the main purpose of work functionality in their platform. iOS, Lumia and Android evolved to mainstream system, that I felt personally, put forward in media and games too much in their system.
BB10 is simple and easy to use but also have the media/entertainment aspect as a side compliment to it and not the way around. Too bad that carrier like Verizon is very very SLOW to push update and support for this platform.
WISHES :
I sometimes still like to use my Droid Razr MAXX. I could dock it at my home/office or bring the lapdock with me to make it a full laptop during my meeting. I do not need a tablet since my phone replace everything in one device. Tablet as convenient as they are.. will never replace my All-In-One Droid Razr Maxx. I wish BlackBerry will come out with this solution(e.g www.casetop.ca). A market that no one seems to grab as solution to work enviroment. Phone, Laptop and All Round Personal Computer at home also..

Oh I've seen the ACK message also. Sometimes your power source may intermittently not deliver the power needed and that message is generated. Usually if I see that I unplug and re plug and all is well.

Technical Specifiaction for the ABAP HR Functional Spec

HI Please help me to write a technical spec for the below functional spec.
As-Is Business Process
Duplicate Performance, Development and Career Plans are being created. Forms have been created with incorrect validity dates. Some people that should have forms dont and some that should not have forms do. We have no easy way to periodically audit for these situations.
To Be Business Process
Audit report to be run via the SRET report tree to check for duplicate plans, incorrect validity dates, and actives that are missing forms as well as terms that have forms that are not in completed status.   Should be able to save selections as a variant.
Selection Screen
Use selection screen from YAUMI tcode as a base model. We only need the top bar, the selection section,, and a section for invalid data edits, which will be modified as shown below. Additionally, there should be a section to choose templates.
Template section:
      This section can be modeled after the selection screen in program Y_HRHAP_PDPGEN. Each template is selected via drop down, and the plan end year is entered. Drop down to choose template that shows form name. For development and career, the expected end year is 9999, which would be entered in the year for those 2 templates. For the Performance plan, the current year is the end year, and would be entered.
Invalid Data Edits section:
   Checkboxes for:
1)     duplicate plans
2)     invalid validity dates
3)     missing plans for active
4)     terms with non completed plans
Logic
     Include the templates selected above for associates with the chosen selections.
     If duplicate plans checkbox is selected
            If the plan year end on the screen is 9999, see if there is any associate that has more than one of this template in status not equal to Complete. If so, output to audit report.
            If the plan year end on the screen is less than 9999 (i.e. 2007), then see if there is any pernr that has more than one of this template in a status that is not equal to Complete with an validity end date of 12/31/yyyy (where yyyy is the year on the selection screen). If so, output to audit report.
     If invalid validity dates is selected
        If the plan year end on the screen is 9999, see if there is any pernr that has that template in status not equal to Complete with an end date not equal to 12/31/9999. If so, output to audit report.
            If the plan year end on the screen is less than 9999 (i.e. 2007), then see if there is any pernr with that template in status not equal to Complete with an end date = 12/31/9999, or with an end date with a month and day not equal to 12/31. If so, output to audit report.
     If missing plans for active is selected
     See if there are any people in the selected population that do NOT have any of the selected templates in a status not equal to Complete If so, output to audit report.
      If terms with active plans is selected
     See if there are any people in the selected population that DO have any of the selected templates in a status not equal to Complete If so, output to audit report.

Hope you are refering it to the actual page, which you invoke for any cfm/cfc request then yes, its extension would be .cfm/.cfc page but if you are refering it to its corresponding encoded pages from {ColdFusion10}\cfusion\wwwroot\WEB-INF\cfclasses then its extension would be .class.

Where can I find documentation for the HSP* Custom Functions

I can see a number of HSP functions are registered in Essbase but cannot find any documentation for them. I am reluctant to use them for client development without some proper documentation. Does anyone know where it can be found?

Here is the contents of essfunc.xml. A little bit more information than what is available than in EAS; for example regarding function @HspGetMbrCount, it has a limited function prototype "@HspGetMbrCount(StringArray)" and purpose "Returns the member count of the range provided". I got this from Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/essbase1/EssbaseServer/essbaseserver1/java. You can view it more easily in Internet Explorer or vim.

Suggestion for the Dual mode analog and USB Headsets

For the next set of headsets can the USB adaptor be solid with out a cord that bends. I am expecting to have to replace my TACTIC 3D ALPHA's THX USB Adaptor because of broken wires but no complaints for the sound and headset only the adaptor.

How to solve this case sensitive problem for the parameters in function?

Hi,
   I have a function, which should receive one parameter comes from textbox in BSP form. User will input upper case or lower case characters together in this textbox. But when I debug function, I found after function recevice the value from BSP form, the string value was converted into upper case automatically.
   I don't want system convert string to upper or lower case. I want keep the original value that user inputted.
   So is it possible to do this?

   Yes, I use the inputfield. The problem is if I use the parameter which contain user's input in the event handler of BSP, the value is equal to the user's input. But if the parameter was transfered into function, the value was converted to uppercase.
   But I want to keep the original value.

What is tcode for the creation of function group

What is the transaction code to create the function group.

The function group can be created in following ways.
1. in SE37. create the function group by using the menu path 'goto->function-groups -> create'
2. in SE37 give a new function module name and click on create.
It will prompt you to enter the Function group and also to enter a short text.
3. in SE80 (Object Navigator) select the Function from the dropdown list and give the Function Group name to create.

Has anyone worked out how to sync audio and video within Premiere Pro but have the Audio stay fixed on the timeline and the video move? Every way I try it Premiere Pro insists on moving the audio. Locking the track does not work as you cannot select the audio within it to Sync with.
I have a music video shoot with 14 camera angles used on the lead singer (don't ask me why). Multi-camera editing is not an option as there are too many sources for my brand new MacbookPro to handle. I think I would need the computer from Superman II to edit that many clips together.
What I am doing is syncing the first clip, the one Im going to use as the baseline fall back shot and then I need to sync other clips onto the timeline. However Premiere Pro insists on moving the audio to fit with the video not visa-versa.
Any help would be appreciated.

@slitchfield: on the mentioned page, it is stated that "Improvements in screen real estate, with slimmer top status bar and optional (in some apps) bottom toolbar, meaning that all phones will have a larger useful display area."
But on the E6 the bottom toolbar decreases available screen size in most apps, most noticeable in Web browser where the full view has gone. The bottom toolbar is not optional, you can't configure it yourself.
And: "Homescreen widgets will now come in up to five different sizes (1x1, 2x1, 4x1, 2x2, 4x4) and allow a greater degree of interactivity.", but on the E6 they are in only one size, always with large borders and other visual effects.
So beware of differences between phones, perhaps some aspects of Belle work differently depending on the type of device.
"Notes now brings up a white (and AMOLED-unfriendly...) editing screen.": that you can change by switching themes, "Dark Solid for Anna" does a good job. It is a shame that the lines of Notes have gone though.
When switching themes, I found you have to restart the phone, otherwise the theme doesn't get properly loaded in all apps. Stopping/starting apps is not enough. So when experimenting and loading one theme after another, you may end up with disfunctional combinations of black-on-black and white-on-white, but it may not be due to the last theme. Also you may end up with a good combination that isn't around anymore the next time you restart your phone.

The entire package SZA which contains the function group SAD2 with the function modules you mentioned is marked as obsolete.
Most likely these obsolete objects have been replaced by:
- Package: ZSA -> ZSAD
- Function Group SAD2 -> SZA0
- Fm ADDRESS_GET_NUMBER -> ADDR_NUMBER_GET
- Fm ADDRESS_INSERT -> ADDR_INSERT
- Fm ARCHIVOBJECT_PREFETCH -> ???
