I was able to add free apps to my wishlist. Now I see I can add paid apps, but not free apps in iTunes 11. I liked saving apps I may want to install at a later date.

When will a stand alone Scrabble game be available for Mountain Lion?
Only on-line game from Pongo is available. The two versions of Scrabble (Scrabble Journey and Gamehouse Scrabble ) do not one. Journey crashes and the Gamehouse version opens and freezes. Discussions with GamHouse indicate they do not have a license for the product and do not support it.
Pointers to a decent game would help. IOS games are not an option.
RehardsSuch an application is included - Rosetta seamlessly translates PPC-coded applications that ran on pre-Intel hardware so that they run on Intel-based Macs. Not usually very quickly, but run even so.
However, that assumes the application was written to conform to Apple's programming guidelines issued to Mac developers. If the guidelines weren't followed - typically if a developer wants to circumvent some part of MacOS to improve how the application works, which is common in such things as games for example with routines written to 'poke' objects directly to screen - then those applications may well fail to run completely in Rosetta, or run very, very poorly.
Rosetta is anything but a perfect solution, and it requires a lot of RAM to work reasonably well, but sadly not everything works with it. -

Why doesn't the iTunes Store have page numbers under each page of the items (songs, e-books, apps, etc), because with over 200000 apps I will be damned if I am going to go back to the start of each apps category (for example) clicking in increments of 12 apps at a time until I get to app number 7264!!!!!! I WILL JUST STOP USING THE APPS STORE!!!
Some apps have a PRODUCTIVITY button in the left top corner that will take you back to the last apps browsing page you were on, while other apps have a BACK button in the top left corner WHICH TAKES YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE APPS CATEGORY YOU WERE BROWSING, so if you were up to app 734 (for example) you have to click through 64 apps pages JUST TO GET BACK TO THE APP YOU WERE UP TO LAST!!! INFURIATING - BEGGARS BELIEF!?!
WHY CANT I CLICK AN 'ADD TO WISH LIST' BUTTON ON EACH APP PAGE, SO I ALSO DONT HAVE TO BROWSE THROUGH ANOTHER 100 PAGES OF APPS TO FIND THE ONE I LOOKED AT IN MY LAST ISTORE SESSION??????
Hasn't anyone at apple used eBay or amazon???
Update: As of this morning the updates were GONE again, so I'm thinking this may recur on and off until all settles after the launch of new software and iDevices this week.

If you have a None payment option, choose that.

How do you redeem a code for a free app that says 'managed licence' using vpp?
I wiork in a school and have recently taken over syncing and managing apps for the wider school. I am having difficulty redeeming a code for the purchased free apps. I need this, so that I can add it it the download folder, as you would for a paid app. Then i will be able to see it in the list of purchased apps to select and update the iPads from.
It sounds like you are using Apple Configurator to install apps on your iPads. For a free app, you can simply download it with iTunes and import the .ipa file into Apple Configurator. For VPP "Managed Distribution" licenses, you need to use an MDM solution to distribute apps.

The password is good for 15 minutes to make purchases. You should receive a receipt in 24 to 48 hours for the purchases. There is a link to Report an issue. You could use that to start a conversation with iTunes Support about a refund.
Apple considers all sales final. But has been known to offer a one time refund. So the question is, do you want to use your one time refund on this purchase or one more expensive in the future? -

I Am looking for an app free app that will allow me to type and edit my homework. I am using a 7.1.1 version of I pad. I have a wireless printer from Walmart hp envy 4502 which is working great. Appreciate any input
Only two devices on our plan, so not so much an issue. And I have found myself using it much more than I thought I would when we got them (also first smart phones for both of us). Even got my wife to use hers for checking email while we were out of the country (big step forward for her ). I'm very interested in the ApplePay, but will want to wait a bit before diving into it. And since both phones are still in great working order, will likely wait a bit for the upgrade (sometime next year?). Will depend, I suppose, on the kinds of deals we see and what the plans turn out to be for updating my iPad and getting here one.

I have the most recent version of the Kindle app for Mac from the Mac App Store (MAS) v. 1.10.6 and it works fine. Look again in the MAS for the Kindle app, does it say Get or Open on the button?
Are you confusing Kindle for Mac with Kindle for iOS. The iOS version won't run on your Mac. -

Today I was charged INR 60 for downloading "FREE APP" of Kotak Mahindra Bank. There is no mention of this charge of INR 60 anywhere. Pls therefore reverse this charge immediately. When it's written FREE it should not be charged.

KristineFinish the download on your computer in iTunes and then sync the app to the iPad and then delete it. You will probably have to let it fully download before you can delete it.
You can try restarting the iPad and see if the download will resume - Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Yoy can try this as well and see if the download will resume. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Look in iTunes and see if there is a pending download in there that might be causing the delay. If there is a download there, try to finish that one first. -

All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.
