Wish List (or please otherwise disclose how...)

1. Ability to enter multiple events (i.e. Add Another)
2. Having the editing window open when you add new event (rather than having it create a new event in the calendar that then has to be opened).
3. Ability to see and edit entire event contents in the edit window (only one line shows)
I converted from an Treo to an iPhone several months ago. It took me a while to find acceptable PIM components (use Things for TTD, find Contacts to be OK and have added Bento to keep notes, passwords, etc.), but have been using iCal for convenience, but I find its interface to be frustrating. If Apple would at least modify the editing window to display the entire text, that would be a BIG help...
Anyone have any ideas as to how to do these things or alternate programs to suggest?

Ah, awesome, thank you, KLOS! I'm not that concerned about the security issue, although it would be nice to ultimately have it. But the only time I'll need a second e-mail account on it is while my husband and I are away on vacation later this year. We're both planning on receiving mail on it while we're away, and don't really have a problem with each other seeing our respective messages.

Just downloaded iTunes Music to my PC, and have just made my first "Wish List" of 40 songs. How do I now purchase the music and download it to my computer? I can't find any radio buttons to purchase these songs and download them to the PC.

Let me restate my question, above. I have just joined iTunes and have downloaded the iTunes software onto my Windows 7 laptop. I have now used that iTunes software to find songs in iMusic, that I want to buy. I have found the songs. 40 of them. I put them into the "Wish List". Now I suppose I have to purchase these 40 songs and download each of them onto my laptop, but there are no apparent buttons to make the purchase. Nor can I find a button that will download all 40 of the songs on the "Wish List". What am I missing here? Thanks. //Marko

My wish list option is gone from original listings (on home computer). If I save it to my watch list I can then move it after the fact, but when I am on a public computer, it is right there in the grey box with the price. How can I get it back on to my home computer again?

Try to restart your phone by holding sown the sleep button until you get the power off slider on your screen. Let it shut down and then restart it by pushing and holding the sleep button again until the apple appears. If that doesn't work try syncing to iTunes.
And try to follow this article of how to recover deleted files from iPhone to have a try, which had help me retrieve my deleted photos back.

Wish list - Santa please read!

Well, it is nearly Christmas, so here's my wish list of improvements to JDeveloper. Most are tiny and would be easy to implement. I've recently moved from another IDE (JCreator Pro) to JDeveloper 10.1.2.1.0 (As I'm a recent convert to JDeveloper, may have missed some ways to achieve these - also haven't looked into beta versions).
Feel free to add to this list, and hope Santa reads it!
*     search and replace to have scope limited to selected area
*     accelerator for "copy current line"
*     drag and drop copy to work to first character of next line
     (i.e. first character after selection)
*     javadoc - option to not have * at beginning of each line
     (much cleaner to read)
*     code completion - currently fixed at Ctrl-Enter, prefer
     switchable (e.g. tab, space, enter)
*     dragging block of code - should remain highlighted after
     release of drag (to make indenting easier)
*     clear all breakpoints (similar to clear all bookmarks)
*     (bug) keyboard accelerators on external tools (e.g. batch
     files) are not persisted when JDeveloper is closed
* print selected area

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen, but for some reason it's been removed from the current version of iTunes - you can buy songs etc individually by clicking on their price (not the downward pointing arrow next to the price)

Features wish list

I can't find any other place on Apple's web site to provide feedback, so I'm creating this discussion topic.
There are 2 features I'd really like to see Apple add to the next iteration of the iPod software: a way to put a bookmark in a playlist, and a way to set the backlight with and without external power.
I use my iPod for music and podcasts both, and I switch between them. If I shuffle my favorites playlist while I'm in my car, then want to listen to a podcast while I do chores in the house, it would be nice to have the iPod remember where I was in the playlist so I can resume where I left off. It can remember play position in a podcast; this seems like a logical extension of that.
Also, when my iPod is on external power in my car I set the backlight to "always on" so it's easy for my passengers to see who's playing and what the track is called. When i take it off external power I don't always remember to reset it to 5 seconds to preserve the battery. Every PDA I've ever owned has separate backlight settings for battery vs external power. I can't believe Apple doesn't provide the same for iPods.
So those are my wish list features. Any ideas how to get Apple to consider them?

Buying ALL songs from Wish List

There used to be a button on the Wish List page to buy all the songs from your Wish List but now with the latest upgrade, it's no longer there. Is there a new way to buy ALL the songs from your wish list? I have 14 songs and I don't want to buy each one separately and see 14 separate charges on my credit card...

Here's the response Apple gave me. I don't have the options in my "store" preferences tabs nor do I have the icons they show in the link, mine is just a tab

I don't seem to have the option to buy my wish list anymore - the icon "disappeared". What am I doing wrong?

Itunes wish list playlist

I created a wish list playlist (as directed by support site) and accidently deleted it. Whenever I delete anything it goes to the trash. I cannot find this playlist using spotlight. Where would it be? Can I get it back???

Make a playlist and name it wish list, then drag the song from itunes store to that playlist.
You can answer these questions yourself.
If you go to the help feature in itunes and type "wish list" it will tell you how.

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes so you will need to buy each item individually. You can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe it'll be added back in a future update : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Try this, Restart: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, press and hold the upper edge power button about 20-30 seconds, ignore the 3-2-1 timer and hold until the screen goes black and you see the red LED.

HT1368 How do I see the monetary value of my entire wish list?

I am brand new to this, so please be kind. I am leaning heavily toward purchasing my entire wish list. At one point I could see clearly exactly how much all of my current wish list cost, but for some reason I am fumbling around trying to find it.
Also, I'd like to purchase all of my wish list songs in one fell swoop - not buy 25 songs for one transaction, then another 25 and so on.
Any advice is appreciated - thanks!

That's too bad that some of the functionality has been removed. I also noticed the other day that some songs that I added to my wish list were gone, I checked for the artist again and none of the studio recorded albums were available - only the live versions. Then today I decided to search for the artist again, all of the albums were back (both studio and live), so I re-added the songs to my wish list.
What's up with that?
I asked my husband about it, he said that Apple may have lost the rights to that particular batch of studio recorded albums. He also said that we are buying only leased music, so when we sync our iPods there is potential to lose music we have already paid for. Is this true?

You do not need to transfer anything. Open the wishlist, and click on the price of any song(s) that you want to buy.
Once you have purchased them and have them in your library, simply put them into an iTunes playlist and burn in the normal way.
