Wishlist for Apple TV

After thoroughly reviewing my Apple TV (2nd Gen), I have several suggestions for easier use and additional features (in no particular order).
1. Allow pairing with a bluetooth keyboard to enter in text (using the remote is horrendous for long email addresses/passwords, etc.
2. Make it remember my wifi connection and password (it forgets every time my router reboots/etc).
3. Currently doesn't allow "logging in" to Flickr to see private albums/sets.
4. Can only view "Albums/Sets" not "All Photos."
5. Set favorites for Radio stations.
6. Ability to add items to a "Shortcuts" menu.
7. Allow access to enter an address to stream Internet content (live streams, etc.)
8. Ability to stream my Computer to the Apple TV as either a mirrored display or a second display (with audio).
9. Pandora, Hulu, etc.
10. Third Party Apps. (A MUST!!!)
11. Stream from UPnP NAS devices and media content (even if it's piped through iTunes).
12. Allow to pair Magic Trackpad; adding a pointer for selection of content.
13. Allow to pair bluetooth stereo headphones for private listening or for assistance to hearing impaired.
14. Ability to output audio through HDMI or optical, not just both (which is default).
15. Currently doesn't allow "logging in" to personal YouTube account.
If you know how I can do any of these (without jailbreaking); please help. If you are "Apple Inc."; please add these features with software update(s) soon.

At 10.5.2, we find that most of the problems with email accounts and VH sites are ... still broken.
After they are addressed (cull these forums for an indication of the problems the current code does not address), I'd like to suggest some other areas of improvement.
On a per-server, per-domain (or per-account) basis, can we set what happens to rejected mail. If a RBL or refuse item comes to the server, can we elect to choose between:
reject and return to sender
reject and discard
If the mail server supports such settings.
That would be lovely.

Albeit, not through the GUI, you can adjust the behaviour of the content-filter to your liking.
Have a look at /etc/amavisd.conf. Many settings are explained in the file.

Hi, anyone knows where to send a wishlist for the next update? :-D
I recently bought an iPhone - I am very happy with my choice, and also the update to 3.0 is very good. But I have 2 things I really wish for.....
1. Be able to change sms tones without jailbreaking
2. Hear the sms tone with headset attached - when I get a call the sound goes via iPhone speaker, but when I get a sms the sound goes into my headset?!? Strange behaviour

That is normal behaviour. The things you describe are not really important to most people. Not much chance of Apple doing it. We have the great 3.0 and people are still not happy. If you want those things you described, Get a NOKIA.

Pass word for Apple ID not accepted in Newstand?

I changed my password for Apple ID and had no problem using it to purchase items in ITUNES. However when attempting to puchase magazines through APPs and newstand it is not accepting the same password. States not regonised for the same user name for APPLE ID as ITUNES!

AppStore works now, but iTunes still NOT.
Strange:
iTunes account-Menu offers me to log out and I can log in again.
But when I want to see my wishlist or my orders or accout-settings, I have to fill in the password again.
Then, after 10 sec, the login-window apears again.
Entering a WRONG paswword has an other effect: Immediatly: "Wrong password".

ITunes Match Unable To Get Past "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..."

Been trying for days but it just gets to "Waiting for Apple to deliver your iTunes Match results..." and then stops and allows me to press the Start button again to start the match process. Sometimes I get error -3231.
I've called Apple and they want $19 to solve the issue even though I paid the $25 for Match.
I've turned iTunes Match off. Turned Genius off. Logged out of my iTunes account. Quit iTunes. Restarted. Logged back into iTunes account. Turn Genius on. Turn iTunes Match back on and let it go through the process again with no success.
My library has a couple hundred songs less than the 25,000 max but it is pretty large. Had the same issue when I tried with a smaller library some time ago. I've created a new library and have the same issue.

You should consider rebooting your internet router
Then try holding option key whilst turning off match. Close iTunes and then reopen. Turn on iTunes Match and select add this computer.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on exactly what device you are trying to set up and what is happening when you try to do so. If you are having issues remembering your Apple ID, or feel like you may have set up multiple Apple ID's, you may find the following page helpful:

Unless I misunderstand the question, you can't do what you're asking to do. Apple doesn't allow you to bypass their store and host public apps on a website. The exception is an enterprise app, which requires an Enterprise account with both Apple and Adobe. This type of enterprise app can be distributed only within the company. If that's what you want to do, you can learn more here:

Another option is to add the development app to several devices and use those for your demo.

IPhone 6Plus on every reboot after putting in my password it opens to a small window asking for apple id password

everything works on phone and wow it's big compared to my iPhone 5s. went with space grey since i have had 3 white phones in a row. restored via iCloud backup. updated iTunes as i have about 3,000 songs. 250 bought the rest ripped to AAC from my cc's....what a pain but switched from my windows desktop to this new rMBP late 2013 for xmas and iTunes is slightly different on a mac than windows and where everything is stored on drive.
anyhow problem is every time i reboot after putting in my password and arriving at whatever page i left at i get a very small window asking for my Apple id password. Now the top half is pre filled in with the email address i use for iCloud/itunes/apple/etc.
i did see in settings there is a checkmark i cannot remove that says for apple password "ask immediately" there are no other choices. it can't be unchecked by any method i found.
any help appreciated.

In case anyone else gets this I hit cancel once and it has never come back.

Remote not working for Apple TV

New unit the 29th of May. Was working great then yesterday the music started stopping and starting in the middle of a song> Tried all the things listed in the PDF help file for Apple TV with no luck. Left the power on last night and it was off this AM. Remote would not turn it on so I unpluged it, the light came on but all is get is blinking light when a button is pressed. Then the Apple window opened opened all the movies showed across the top and along with the first row of other items one can select from. But I cannot move across or up and down. The light just blinks twice.
I let it set and the pictures I have selected from I Photo for screen save started working but still no remote control.
I have a apple care case ID number but for the past 4 hours the line just rings busy. Needless to say I'm a little unhappy.
Maybe some head me in the right direction.

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

Update: An Apple rep called me today to update the status of my return. I was told that the replacements for the BLACK iPad 2's was still another 3 weeks out (at least) so they offered me a brand new WHITE 16GB iPad 2. I could have that or continue waiting. I opted to go ahead and accept the offer of a new white one. Worst case scenario if I don't like the white one I have buddy that just bought a 16GB black one that he would be willing to swap it.

If it is trying to verify your payment info, I would be willing to guess that it is looking for the security code for your credit card. Did you credit card just get replaced lately or the expiration date change? When is the last time that you updated your payment information in iTunes?

Yup, updated my Apple TV and got sky news and a couple of other new apps I will never use. I am growing increasingly fed up with looking at all the good stuff there is on offer in America and nothing in the UK..... I know I shouldn't look :)
And it's not just Apple I suppose, checking out the apple and Microsoft US movie stores and they have a much better selection. Wish we all had the willpower to stop giving these companies money until they fulfil customer needs...
