Wishlist for features in the Organizer (advanced)

Question

It's obvious that feature request have a better chance of being satisfied if expressed soon after the release of a new version
Since version 11 has been targeted at a new target audience, advanced users may hope the next one will do more for them...
For me it would be:
- ability to open jpegs or tiffs directly from the organizer (like in psedbtool). Ability to open several at the 
same time would be still better.
- real 'advanced search' in the find by details, with all operators including .NOT. and .XOR.
- Ability to manage drives : option to search by drive in the search by detail ; showing the different drives known 
by the catalog (like in psedbtool) : list of drives with letter, serial number, how many media in the catalog.
- Reconnect missing files : ability to save the list to a text file to make searches easier.
- Enhanced Export dialog options similar to those of the process multiple files or photo downloader advanced 
options
- Albums : sort option by file name.
- Enhance the catalog manager with automatic search and detection of catalogs anywhere on the computer, even in 
hidden folders, with pse version and test if empty.
Those features might also help 'basic' users.
Before submitting those feature requests, I am curious to get some users feedback, thanks in advance

Hi Michel,
As you know, I've switched from PSE to PSP X5.  It's "Organizer" is very weak, but its Editor is outstanding.  So, after working with it for a week, I've come to the conclusion that as an "advanced" user I need to consider my computer as having an "imaging system" on it. 
The analogy is like building a home stereo system in bygone years -- choosing individual components on a cost/performance basis and picking and choosing the turntable, phono cartridge, pre-amp, amplifier and speakers that best fit my budget and needs.
So, the "hub" of my imaging system is the image editor.  To it I'll add an organizer, and a Raw image processor and a panorama program.  I can change the editor to CorelDraw if I need vector capabilities or Photo-Paint if I need specialized raster editing options (like working in CMYK).
I'm watching three image database organizing programs, and the IMatch one I mentioned a while ago looks the most promising.  I'm waiting for its new beta to be released before testing it, but even the current version has more image data, database searching, and drives management (as well as the points you mentioned) than the PSE Organizer or Lightroom or PSP will ever have in a million years.
I recently installed the free RAW Therapee editor, and it too has more image adjustments and features than anything the big companies can ever hope to include as an auxiliary part of their programs.
When I need panoramas, the free MicroSoft ICE program is stunning.
That's probably not the comment you were looking for when you posted your suggestions (which are perfectly reasonable for a future version of PSE), but the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that an "all-in-one" image program (especially a modestly priced one) is bound to disappoint -- as a user becomes more skilled, he will become increasingly irritated at its limitations.
