With Bluetooth file sharing being allowed in iOS6 now, is it possible to connect a Polaroid POGO printer to the iPhone and iPad now?
I know that there is a new bluetooth sharing feature enabled on iOS6 now that wasn't there before on iOS5, and I was wondering if this means my Polaroid POGO instant printer would be able to connect to the iPhone to print photos now?

Now I'd love to know if someone who actually owns the Pogo Printer and iOS 6 can get it to work. I would immediately buy the printer which I have wanted all along except that I knew it wouldn't work with my iDevices.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I recently began using reminders in ical and downloaded the iPhone and iPad app. It works great. However, the reminders in ical on the COMPUTER is difficult to work with - thin long column on the right rather than in it's own screen. is there a reminders app for the COMPUTER that is more user friendly?

time capsule only allows 2 devices at a time as a router. If I am using the iphone and macbook pro, it bumps the roku offline. Any suggestions?
At a guess you have cable internet connection.. please confirm exactly what you have.. two public IPs are allowed by some ISP.. once you use up the two IPs, there are no more..
Make sure the TC is in router mode. And to get it working you probably need to shut off the cable modem.. if it has battery backup remove the battery.. try 5min off .. if not long enough try 20min off. then overnight. The ISP equipment must reset to allow a new MAC address to capture the IP.
If you cannot work it out.. plug in the old router again.. and set the TC to bridge mode.. which I suspect it is in now.. and plug it into the main router.. it should work fine like that. -
What's with this stupid wobbly effect in the iPhone and iPad cameras?
When using the camera on an iPad or an iPhone, any movement causes a ridiculous wobbling effect that makes video and still photos rather hard to take and the final shots look awful...
Anyone know if there's a way to turn this off?
Anyone at Apple have anything to say about this?Just tried again, and the most I can get is some slight distortion when panning the camera left and right quite rapidly (too fast to actually make out much). When I do that it kind of looks like the image is skewed a little bit, where the top of the picture is slightly in front of the rest of the image, making vertical objects look somewhat bent.

Again, I think this is due to the screen and camera hardware not being able to keep up with each other. I've seen similar "effects" on other dedicated digital cameras, however, in normal use (i.e. not rapidly panning left and right repeatedly), I've not noticed it.
It's probably a side effect of the relatively low quality cameras these devices have in comparison to dedicated video cameras. -

No. Only the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have the necessary hardware (NFC chip). iPads, iPod touches, and older iPhones don't support it.

I'm new to creating apps for iOS and am interested in creating an app that uses animated emoticons in messaging. I wasn't sure what format was accepted, however. I presumed that .gif files would work but want to know for sure before we begin working on them. Thanks!

My texts all failed when I synced my iphone 4S to my new mini ipad with cellular. ATT said I needed to create a separate ID for the mini ipad in order for texting to work. Will separate apple IDs still enable me to sync my iphone to my mini ipad?
Go to Settings>Mail, etc.>iCloud and delete the account. Then add in a new account with the details you want.

i need my secritart to place events on my calendar through an application without having to go through my works calendar ,,
for example if there is an event sceduled for tomorrow i want them to just log into the app assign the event date and time on the calendar and it will automatically be synced on my iphone's / ipad's calendar and alurt me without me having to accept the event

My ipad does not have direct internet connectivity so previously I used my iphone via Bluetooth to connect to the internet. Now it does not communicate. I read in other discussions that Bluetooth is not designed to do this and that is that. So my question is how do I get to use my ipad on the internet for mail or surfing. My iphone works great with my PC via Personal hotspot and cable for all internet functions so why not Apple to Apple. I do not have a router and do not intend to buy one as my PC and laptop communicate well when needed so how do I get the iphone and ipad talking.
Hi Julian thanks for the feedback. I´ll explain some more but please excuse me if I don´t have a full understanding of all this. I live in Brasil and the land line connection where I live is not reliable so I do not have a normal high speed connection for internet use. For my PC and laptop I use my iphone personal hotspot, it is not incredibly fast but it works well for mail and medium speed browsing. Since I´ve had the ipad I´ve been able to communicate between it and iphone when away from the PC or laptop and it too has worked well but not incredibly fast. The other day I agreed by mistake to ``forget this device`` and now I cannot get it back again. My reluctance to buy a Wi fi router is based on the fact that I use my iphone for my internet connection but if if you can tell me how to use the iphone Personal hotspot connectivity with a Wi Fi router it would appear to be a good idea but I´m advised that I cannot do this. When I need to communicate, copy files etc between my laptop and PC I use a fixed cable comnnection or an ``Ad hoc wi fi`` connection. So in summary if a Wi Fi router will enable me to communicate between all my devices and give me internet connectivity via my iphone Personal hotspot connection I will gladly buy one. Please advise how I may achieve this.

Why is the new iOS6 using iMessage and FaceTime and sharing messages across all iPad, both iPhones, and friends messages coming in are sent to all units? SHARING??? How do you fix this?
HI,
On the iPhone and iPad you can "turn off" the Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Received At (and possibly) > Caller ID.
iOS 6 will delete the email/Apple ID across all devices (you get a warning) but presumably Messages is either left alone on the Mac or you add the ID back in again.
AS has been said you can then set up each device with it's own Apple ID

Upgraded to TimeCapsule and now issues with AirPrint from iPhone and iPad
Okay. I bought a HP 210a air print printer. It was working great with my Linksys router and my iPad and iPhone worked with it perfectly. Since that time I have recently bought a new new 2TB Time Capsule and just recently set it up. The old router is no longer hooked up. Since switching over to the new router, nothing prints from the iPhone or iPad. So here are the details and I am hoping I am just missing a step:
1. I think it is important to point this part out. After setting up the new router, and before discovering any of this, I turned on the HP printer. Upon doing so, the printer informed me a software update was available from HP so I downloaded it and it appeared everything was fine.
2. After the update, I tried printing and nothing. Duh, the printer was still looking for the old router. I ran the built in HP wireless setup wizard on the printer and it pointed to the new router fine. I tested the connection using the test feature on the printer, and it printed a report that all was fine and that it was now pointed at the Time Capsule, great signal, etc...
3. I went to my iPhone and iPad, made sure they were pointed at the same network as the printer, and once again the printer appeared on each device as an AirPrint printer. Great I thought, so printed a test a page from each device. Both pages printed. Now here is where it gets weird.
4. I tried to print a second document from the iPad and iPhone, nothing. I tried a picture. Nothing. It still shows eveything setup correctly, the HP shows as the AirPrint printer and connected, but no matter what I do, it nothing is printing from either device. I've tried resetting my network settings on the iPhone and iPad and pointing to the network again, re-running the HP setup Wizard on the printer. They all show that everything is fine. The iPhone and iPad connect to the network fine, both show the printer when I go to print. However, after I hit the "print" button on either device, it shows like the document is being sent but NOTHING happens on the HP. It is very frustrating.
The WiFi is working fine, I can surf, email, etc... so the router is working properly. So what am I missing? Could the HP update somehow have caused the problem? I have to believe that between the update and the new router that somewhere I am missing a step. Any help is greatly appreciated.If that doesn't work, try power cycling your router, printer, and your iPad/iPhone in that order. To do this, follow these steps:
Unplug the router and printer from the power and shut off the i-devices. Let them sit for about 30 seconds and then plug just the router in.
Once the router is completely back online (usually takes about 30-60 seconds) plug the printer in. Wait until it is back on its home screen.
Turn the i-devices on.
Try to print again.
Let me know if this helps!

I have chosen not to use iCloud for the time being since the syncing was inconsistently working with the calender and contacts; and cannot get the Reminders on my Mac to sync/replicate onto my ios device, neither iphone nor ipad. Help is appreciated in respect to Reminders. Thank you.

1. will it sync to my reminders on my MAC too if i enter via icloud? if not, what's the reason for having the reminder list available on my Mac if it can't sync?
2. I have 2 different email accounts, one with a .mac address and another with .msn. both can be accessed via icloud. i ran a test using my msn acct as the signin and it logged the reminder onto both the iphone and ipad fine.
however, when i try with my mac address, it only shows up on my iphone, which list reminders under icloud(which worked on both devices and then under mac which worked only on the iphone, not ipad. any idea why that might be happening?

Iphone and ipad not working with USB3?
for some 3 months now, when I connect my iphone or ipad to the pc nothing happens.
I tried to look it up in the device manager and it said: Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is an older USB device and might not work with USB3.0
Plug the device into an available USB2.0 port and click next. Otherwise, click cancel.
Anyone had the same problem? Any solution that doesn't require being a computer engineer?

I used to simply plug the iphone or ipad and a folder will open giving me choices of what to do (open the device, copy pictures...) nothing happens anymore on both ipad iphone, I can't access them to copy the pictures, videos... -
I'm Running Exchange 2010 with outlook 2010 in my environment, since Apple OS went from 5.x to 6.x I been having issues where the Iphones and Ipads running OS version 6.x or higher do not acknowledge that the exchange user has a calendar delegate and are automatically accepting the invitations, not allowing the Delegate to acknowledge first, If this test is run on any Apple devices running OS Version 5.x but less than 6.x the issue is not there.. any one that may have encounter with this situation got a fix or a possible resolution on it.. Ok, well after looking at everything, I decided that the best solution was to uninstall an App called "Tango", as it seemed to 'mess' with contacts directly, and I only use it with 1 person, so switching back to Skype (plus Tango sends/shares lots of personal
info, location, and keeps changing it's access rights and doing stuff when you're not looking - I'm sure some people love it, but for me, it's a belts and braces get rid of anything that might have 'contributed' to this issue).
Found my un-sync'd contacts and emailed them to myself, then deleted the Exchange active-sync account. Checked what was left, found google had managed to sync some stuff, cleared that up too!
RE-created the account on the S4 - only need the email and password, as it finds the server and sets itself up automatically (I guess it did that previously).
All is now working, after about 5mins the data had been re-populated and it sync's new changes instantly. But I will monitor from time to time to check that new contacts or added numbers etc do sync. My best guess is that some index or other data became corrupt.
Just one of those things (or had I been tango'd?!).
On the Truncating Notes Issue, the S4 (realised that it's running Android 4.3) does chop a note but only if edited, at 1001 chrs. However unlike others, it seems to only truncate the note if you actually edit the note field, so adding a phone number or removing
one, leaves the note field intact!
To summaries other devices behaviour with the Contact record Notes Field:
- iPhone 3GS (on iOS 6.1.3) truncates at 32,777 chrs (so pretty big notes!)
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8020 - Android 4.1.1) chops at about 1,000chrs, even if just adding a phone number to the contact - so not even editing the notes field
- HTC One X (4.2.2) at 5,122 chrs (when editing any part of the contact)
I hope this might help someone in the future if they have similar problems ...
