With Creative Cloud are you able to download apps to both Windows and Mac?

I'm not sure whether on 1 subscription you can download to Windows and Mac, or whether you have to buy Creative Cloud for each of these individually??

With one membership you can install and activate Cloud apps on up to two computers: either Win/Win, Mac/mac or Win/Mac.

there is no forced use of LR5 and your LR4 will remain in place and active. Should you decide to use LR5 it will try to,import your catalogs.

As far as I can tell, yes. I purchased an HD movie on my old Apple TV 2 (720p) and just upgraded to the Apple TV 3 (1080p) and it displays 1080p on the info sheet and plays in that quality, so I have a feeling the same should go for you with your iPad.

If you are using Windows Machine, just click on Start button and start typing CC, you will see all your downloaded Creative Cloud application there.
And in case of Mac, at the top right corner, there is a magnefying glass caled as Spotlight. Click on it and start typing CC, it will show your downloaded Creative Cloud apps, there.

Berit, please specify the OS version and software in which you are trying to find library?
Make sure you your software is updated to the latest version. Try to reset the preference of the software as mentioned below:
Photoshop Help | Preferences
InDesign Help | Setting preferences
Illustrator Help | Setting preferences
Let us know if you are still not able to see Library panel in any specific software.

But all the adjustments that you apply in Lightroom, if you do not export to a rasterized format, will be inaccessible. You'll still have your catalog file, for if you want to re-inlist in the future, but it won't do anything for you without Lightroom. The same thing will go for Photoshop files like PSD, but obviously if you save to standard image formats you'll be fine.
It's one of the issues that keeps me away from the plan. Not being able to edit individual files in PS is one thing, but Lightroom is a photo organization system. I don't want to rent the system I use to organize 10s of thousands of files.

You can activate the software on a maximum of two computers at the same time.
Your serial number works on both Windows and Mac.
Your choice on how you mix and match the activations: Win/Win or Mac/Mac or Win/Mac.

Sorry, but no, you can't. The content owners won't allow Apple to allow that feature. You can back up your videos, but you cannot convert them to any other format. If you want play video/movie content purchased from the iTunes Store on your TV, you'll need to connect your computer to your TV or use an iOS device or iPod (one with video out) or an Apple TV.

To find out how much space you have & what is left, open up Disk Utility/Machintosh HD/First Aid. The info will be at the bottom of the window.
Sluggish Finder - Bunch of icons on your desktop? An overcrowded desktop slows down your Mac.
Get rid of needless Finder calculations - Open a window in Finder/View/Show View Options: ensure "Calculate All Sizes" option is unchecked.
Internet related - It's likely that your broadband connection is the bottleneck. You can check your speed on http://www.speedtest.net to see how fast your connection is. If your web browser specifically performs slowly, quit and relaunch it.
If browser remains sluggish, empty its cache.

Firefox/Preferences - select the Network tab of the Advanced preferences and click the "Clear Now" button in the "Offline Storage" area.
Application related - Launch "Activity Monitor" - Applications/Utilities - click the CPU heading and see what float to the top. If an application takes up a large chunk of CPU and won't let it go, it could be dragging down your Mac's performance. OK, so forget about CS3. Without a valid serial number, you cannot activate the trial version and Adobe no longer sells CS3.

I purchased the CS6 upgrade for my Windows machine and need to install a copy on my Mac...can I use the same download?

If this is a standalone version, then no. They are platform specific. Only Creative Cloud allows cross-platform usage.

I am considering buying (month subscription for students) creative cloud. I have a windows laptop at the moment but intend to purchase a mac in the next few months. Do I require to pay 2 subscriptions?

In the future if my laptops (when I eventually have my mac) have problems and I have to replace either (i.e. replace with a new one or be sent a replacement under warranty), would I have to pay additonal subscription to have CC on 3rd device (which technically would be only 2 devices I would be using).
I use my laptop at home and college but planning to buy the Mac to save me carrying about a laptop. My windows laptop is a few years old and I am just trying to work out should I need to replace it after I have bought a CC subscription and installed it . Can I re-download to a replacement laptop, so programme is still on 2 devices?

I am unable to download the latest Flash Player (Version11.3.300.265. I have followed all the trouble-shooting suggestions offered by Adobe and even chatted with an online assistant (who said I must first purchase a $39 technical support agreement).
When I click on the download, it appears that something is happening in my download button.
However, when I go to the Download Folder, there is nothing there.
Any help would be apprecciated.

If you have a recent Flash Player, it installs
System Preferences > Flash Player...
... the Advanced pane can be used to perform the entire update and Install automatically.
Otherwise, the browser you use may have re-assigned the Download location. For Safari:
Safari Preferences > General >
Save downloaded files to: Downloads
