YOU NEED DETAILS? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE PLAINER? Please give me back the previous version of FF which never gave me anything like this kind of trouble.
This is very poor quality work--volunteers often produce these sorts of problems.

Actually details are VERY important, here. I can update all my sites, on various platforms, as my clients don't use the same hosting providers.
What you'd need to get help with this:
* What hosting provider you use
* What error(s) you are getting
* At which point those errors are seen
* What add-ons you are running in FF
* Does the error occur when running FF in safe mode?
* Have you cleared your internet history, temp internet files and/or cookies?
More info may be necessary, depending on the answers. So no, don't get all angry that Mozilla is asking for details. Just because it worked in 3.6 for you, and not in 4.0 doesn't mean that's the only variable that has changed.

Let me start with the general advise...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Can no longer print from web site

I have windows 7 and adobe acrobat 9 extended. I have always been able to go to this particular website and either print to my default printer, or have the option to print a pdf file, which is what I usually do. I just had to reform my drive and reload windows 7. Now when I go to this site to print the pdf I get a message saying my internet security settings are preventing me from printing a pdf. I've checked all my settings (that I know of) and can't figure out what is preventing it. I also have AVG installed. Any idea what settings I need to fix?

I have been using Acrobat 5.0 for years with Acrobat Reader 9 for those documents that don't like Acrobat 5.0 on a Windows XP SP3 box. Had had no problems at all until I updated to Reader 9.4.3 on Monday. It immediatly destroyed Acrobat 5.0 and I had to reinstall it. Had no problem with the install but could no longer view any pdfs from any web site. Tried everything I could until today I noted that just about everyone using Reader 9.4.3 were having the same problem. Switching back and forth within this site, I noted that there was an Acrobat Reader X (10.0) available. I installed it and now everything works great!!!

I can no longer Publish my web site changes since I let Face Book be involved in the Publishing.

Seriously- It just freezes somewhere when it asked to update via FB after I hit publish. There's no place to get face book out of the mix! I looked everywhere, Preferences, etc , nada! Help! I've rebooted the program a bunch of times even the computer. Also, now if I hit "publish changes" still freezers.
How can I reset the Publish preferences so it doesn't ask me for my FB log in , etc . I believe that's why it's freezing.
I have a few typos on my web site I'd really like to correct.

Try publishing to a local folder and then switching back to the iWeb FTP.
If that doesn't work, publish to a local folder and then do the troubleshooting step under "Fix iWeb" here...

For the past several weeks, when I try to print from a web site, it eventually times out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the current version of Firefox, to no avail. I really don't want to switch to Internet Explorer, but will have to, if this problem is not solved.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Since I downloaded the new operating system to my iPod touch I can no longer update my Apps or download new ones. My password is recognized but the download process is immediately interrupted when I touch update (all) or download.

Can no longer update one of my iWeb pages (all others are working properly)

I have an iWebsite with several pages. One of these pages is no longer working correctly. The page that is causing problems contains a series of text boxes and hyperlinks (which allow people to download PDFs). I can no longer update the vast majority of this page, nor can I see where the different text boxes start or begin. (I am currently only able to change the title, not the body.)
When I go online to look at the actual published site, I am able to download all of the desired PDFs, however I cannot highlight or copy any of the text written on the page (this is not the case for the other pages of the website).
I have updated this page several times over the last few years and have never run into this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong and/or how I might remedy the situation?

Yes, this is the problem. This space is acting as if (or rather has been) converted to a graphic. Each reference listed on that page has been entered separately over time. It seems like the last time this section was updated it was saved as an image/graphic. I am not even sure how this would have happened or how to undo this issue. Do you know or have any further suggestions?
Is there a way to view the html code on iWeb. . . to just work in code?

I can no longer update existing or download new apps onto my MacBook Pro of late?

I can no longer update either existing; or download new apps any more on My MacBook Pro? This is a new thing, and seems to have coincided with getting my new iPhone 4S the week before last? If had the MacBook since Dec 2010, and this is the first time I've experienced this problem. The message is always the same: "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later (null)" But every day for well over a week, the message never changes. At first I thought it was the fact that I had the same Username and Password for both app store accounts, so I changed the one Password, but that hasn't resolved the problem either. Does anyone have a fix for this bug?

My friend has an iPod touch 4, he has obviously missed a few updates and now he can no longer update and he is stuck on iOS 3.1.1. I was wondering how many updates must be released before I can't update my iPad any more. I will eventually update to iOS 7 but I don't want to wait to long and then I can't update at all!!! So does anyone know how many updates I can miss??

Your frlend can always update the latest version supported by their device, which is iOS 6.1.3. What they can't do is update to anything before that.
The same is true of your iPad. You will always be able to update to the latest version (currently iOS 7.0.3) but not anything before that. What that means is that your choice is to stay with iOS 6.1.3 or update to the current version.

I'm having the identical problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 7--no ability to update apps or download new apps. Here is what Apple tech support emailed to me:
I understand that you are unable to download or update applications after updating iOS7 on your iTunes. I know you must be eager to get this resolved and I will be happy to help you today.

Please follow this steps:
1) Double tap the home button
2) Hold down on an icon
3) Tap the red "X" on iTunes, and the App Store.

8) Tap Network Settings
Once it has been closed with multi-tasking, and you have rebooted the device in the network settings reset, please sign in, and try again.

Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7.
Otherwise I'm having a little success with this. Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all). So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process.

I changed my email address. Logged into the iTunes Store and changed my address - which is also my Apple ID. The change was applied. I can now low into the iTunes Store with my new email address. I did not simply open a new account, though that's how the store seems to be treating me. How do I get this reconciled?

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. You may have already done this.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.
