With HP 8600 Plus, why must I replace ALL colors at same time when only one is out?

I got a message that my Yellow Ink was low, but when I replaced just that, the printer said I had to replace the other two colors as well.  I thought the advantage of having them separate was that you could replace one at a time.  Is there an easy fix?  Something I am missing?  Hope you can help. 
Otherwise, am very happy with this printer. 

When a cartridge is replaced there is an initialization routine to prime the cartridges.  This will use some of the ink in the other cartridges.  If they were near empty the initialization of the yellow cartridge may be enough to trigger the low ink message on the other cartridges.
There was a firmware update that addresses a few issues and includes inproved ink efficiency.  See the page here for information and instructions to update the firmware.

    Thank you for helping me on this problem.  To answer your questions,
    - No, each device has different contact, i.e. "reach me.." to different email address.
    - No, one of the Apple ID is totally new one for my iPhone 6s.
    - I have done some testing.  My son set up two different entries of my devices, i.e., one for each device.  But, it is still ringing one both devices when he facetimes me using one of his entries.
    But, it seems that if someone just has setup to reach me on one device in her device, then, only this device is ringing.  So, I am not sure why.  My son's set up are two different contacts to my devices. 
    I will do more testing when my son brings his device back home.

  • Why must I upgrade RIGHT NOW or quit CC when an update rolls out?

    After the umteenth iteration of this, I'm growing very tired of being FORCED to update my creative cloud manager every single time an update rolls out. I come from a an IT strategic background that strongely believes in not changing smoothly running setups until the most opportune time (between projects), and this is necessitating mid-project version changing.
    What is changing so frequently with that app manager service? Why is it so critical that I be up to date that you force the exiting of the service rather than let it run one version back? Please consider changing this policy as it is disruptive to professional workflow, though, admittedly, the app manager itself isn't likely to cause a project jeaopardizing problem as much as, say, after effects or premiere are. THe more significant issue may simply be that it's annoying me and the staff here when it seems pretty much every time we ever click that CC icon, we have to sit through an update.

    I agree. Sick of this kind of blackmail from Adobe.

    When multiple users run my JSP application, why do some users get an Error: 500 SC_INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR for certain JSP pages with the error message No such file or directory. The JSP listed on the Error 500 page varies and is not always the same. When only one user runs my JSP application, the problem does not occur?
    The database connection is held when the user logs in or accesses certain parts of the JSP and then is immediately released. No connections to the database are held.
    We are using Solaris 8 with MU_6 plus recommended patches.

    iAS 6 SP 3

    Is anything showing up in the KXS or KJS logs?
    It sounds like you might having some kind of thread safety issue with your code. Either that or your guess about running out of database connections.

    Restore the phone as a new device. There is probably something that was corrupted on your phone during the update and has been passed via the backup to the replacement phone.  If the corruption/problem is contained in the backup, you'll need to re-sync your data, and re-install your apps manually. Restoring the backup again will only bring the problem back with it.
    If restoring it as new does not fix it, then make an appointment at the genius bar.

    I have run a few deep cleaning with fresh ink cartridges.  Now the printer will not print any colors.

    Reading your comments I do not see that rolling back to an insecure Firefox 22 will actually help you much. You are probably best using IE, unless you have also damaged that.

    Most others will not be having such problems. We are now able to say that with confidence because after developers missed a regression in Firefox 4 telemetry was introduced so that data was obtained. It may be an idea to turn on your telemetry, if you have not already done so, and decide to stick with Firefox.

    If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select

    from the menu bar.
    Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field.     I'm sorry that you've been unable to merge files. Let's see what we can figure out.
    Are you unable to merge any files? How large are the files that you're trying to merge, and how many are you trying to merge at once?
    If you're merging more than a few files, or those files are particularly large, ttry merging those files in smaller batches. If one or more files is causing the conversion failure, merging in smaller batches should help you isolate the problematic file or files.
    I look forward to hearing back from you with some details about the files that you're trying to merge.

    The repeat, Genius, and shuffle controls appear along with the scrubber bar. You can see elapsed time, remaining time, and the song number. The song’s lyrics also appear, if you’ve added them to the song in iTunes.
    Use the scrubber bar to skip to any point along the timeline. You can adjust the scrub rate from high-speed to fine by sliding your finger down as you drag the playhead along the scrubber bar.

    That is a quirk of Pagesthat  it applies only one record per page.
