When I scroll up or down I find it annoying that the document might shift to the left, and then I have to scroll it back to the right. The only way I've found to stop it from moving horizontally is by reducing the document down to about 50%, but then I can't read the document. I prefer having the document set at 125%, but then the bottom horizontal scroll bar shows up, and then the document can shift to the left if I'm not exact with my scrolling up or down.

What happened? Since Apple controls all drivers, I can't go to HP's website to find an update. Contacting Apple via email is so far an unachievable chore.

Each printer developer (HP for example) supplies their own drivers. Please post a screen shot of the print dialog box that shows up on default printing.
Apple does not provide support on email, you will need to call AppleCare for support, either that or you can go do your local AASP and see i they can assist.

When I send attachments - for example graphic file (.mi extension from CoCreate's Designer drafting program) Thunderbird "opens" it (while sending it) as it is text file and thus makes teh message long (thousands of rows). I'm now solving this so that I make zip file. Also, there is no problems with Word's, Excel's, Adobe's files which are recognized automatically by Thunderbird.
In old versions of Thunderbird I've just defined the type of each file extension (which was not recognized automatically by Thunderbird) and Thunderbird didn't open an attachment while sending the mail. In last version there is no such possibility and this is a step back.

I can understand that its a bit iritating, but I dont think your email is larger than if it wasnt showing. look at "show code" and compare. Your .mi-file has to be sent within the email, either in plain view or hidden.

New macbook air battery, yet still not charging is it the adaptor that's going as well?

I just got the battery in my mba replaced and I went to go and charge it again and I've tried to charge it. However, it still does not charge. I've tried different outlets and the two pronged vs the three pronged cables and it still won't work. Could it be the charger itself? I'm hoping it's nothing serious like the logic board or something. I'm going to try another adapter tomorrow, but it would be nice to know if it might be my adapter that's broken. When I plug it in no light turns on, but it is still running off of the adapter, it's just not charging.

Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

To open an INDD file in the older version (CS4-CC), you need to save it as an IDML. For CS3 & older versions, save it as an INX.

You've got the wrong version of InDesign to open the file, it's that simple.
InDesign Cs6 is available on Creative Cloud, and if that's up to date it won't open InDesign CC or InDesign CC 2014 files.
You'll need to download InDesign CC2014 from the Creative Cloud.

If you are running Mavericks, and the Mac App store says you are up to date, then you have Numbers 3.2 as well as Numbers 2.3. You are getting the "Need a newer version message because your Mac is trying to open the document using Numbers 2.3.
Launch Numbers 3, then open the document from within that app, or right click/control-click the document and choose Open with Numbers 3.x.

You may have inadvertently created or edited the document in the new Numbers 3.0 (which is free; you don't have to buy it) and are now trying to open it with the old Numbers 2.3.
Both versions can be on your Mac at the same time, and can run at the same time. The icons are similar so it's easy to confuse them (old on top here, new on bottom).
The new Numbers 3.0 is in your Applications folder. The old Numbers 2.3 should be in a subfolder in the Applications folder named iWork '09 or similar.
If you accidently edited an old document in the new version and want to take to take it back to the old version, you can export it:

It sounds to me as though you are attempting to open a Pages 09 document with the Pages 08 application. If you do have Pages 09 on your computer, it may be that for some reason an existing Pages 08 application is invoked accidentally.
