With newest ios 7 version, can no longer change "just this one" recurring calendar event, like if a monthly meeting time changes, but only this month. How to fix?
With newest IOS7, installed this morning, can no longer change just one time, a recurring event-like a monthly meeting. It used to ask if i want to change for this event only, or for all the events. How else can you change the time "just this once" and leave the other times alone?
no-turns out the only problem is taking the event from an "all day" event that repeats, to one with a time, if time is only for the one event this year. Do all repeating events either need to be for the entire day, or for a time-but cannot change an all day event, to one with a time only for this event.
I have the "all day" for the annual event so I don't forget to take care of this, but this year I want to give it a time so it is more prominant on the calendar. Only wanted it at a specific time this year, and want it to stay "all day event" in the future.
I think the only way to fix is to make a new event just this year and give it a time, then keep the recurring event as as "all day".
Not a big deal-thought it was a bigger problem than it turns out to be.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. I have the original ipad (OS 5.1.1) using pages 1.7.2 and backing up to icloud. If I open up one of the docs from icloud, I can no longer open it on my ipad. Looks like the pages version gets updated to a version that is incompatible with my ipad. Is there anyway stopping icloud from changing the version and is there a way to recover the old version of the document on my ipad?

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard. -
Since purchasing my Mac Pro with retina display, I can no longer change the preferences on MP Navigator for Canon MX870. I can change them on my old Mac Pro with Lion, but not the new one. I can scan but I can't save it to a folder on my hard drive. I can only let it default to a back up date folder. Tried all sorts of things to change the preferences and folders, nothing worked. StephanieTo prevent your iPhone from automatically syncing when you plug it in, click on iTunes in the menu bar, then preferences, then "devices", then tick "prevent iPhones, iPad's and iPod's from syncing automatically".
Plug it in, then on the iPhone sync summary screen, click "info" along the top.
Make sure the "sync contacts" option is not ticked. as long as it's not ticked, then it won't sync with your mac's contacts but will still include them in backups.
Also, if you use iCloud, make sure that the iPhone/mac are either not signed into the same account, or that "contacts" is not turned on for both of them -

What does "online documentation" mean exactly? Are you using the Notes app to try to create notes in iCloud, for example?
If so, that should still work in iOS 7.1.
If not, please tell us specific symptoms of what is (or is not) happening. -
My iPhone 5 is not allowing updating to the newest iOS version 6.1.3.
My iPhone 5 is not allowing updating to the newest iOS version 6.1.3. I missed doing the 6.1.2 update before 6.1.3 was available. It wants to install the 6.1.2 update, but, once I agree to the terms it tells me I can't because I am not connected to the Internet. It is connected to the net, as proved by surfing and iTunes, both by LTE and wireless. I have tried both a full shutdown as well as the most of the easy tricks to, like with apps updates, to get it to refresh. Has anyone had this issue since the 6.1.3 release, and is there an easy way to resolve the conflict.
The next iOS update won't change this.
Are you able to transfer anything else from your iTunes library and computer via the iTunes sync process such as a movie, TV show, podcast, audio or print book, apps, and photos from your computer?
What is selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. -
Question: Inadvertently a visiting toddler gained access to my computer during a visit. He's obviously fiddled with something as I can no longer use my arrow keys to navigate through my albums or events on iPhoto. Only one pic shows up in the album view - I can't see any thumbnails. To see the other pics I have to use the scroll bar on the right hand side of the window. Please help!
Depeding on your version of iPhoto: On the left (iPhoto 11) or right (earlier versions) of the lower frame of the iPhoto Window you'll see a slider. Drag it left.

Contact xFinity (Comcast) to turn off dynamic channel switching if on and have it set to a fixed channel.
Usually WiFi routers will only change channels to the least busy when they are initially powered up. -

With iOS8.1 I can no longer sync my iTunes MAC playlists to my iPhone! I purchased a song on Itunes store and put it into a playlist on my MAC. When I sync (as usual) with my iPhone, the playlist no longer updates to include the new song (i.e., playlist stuck at 16 not 17 songs)... yes, all devices are authorized... If I turn on HOME SHARING it will work, but the moment you disconnect, everything goes away... What is APPLE doing?

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

2. Turn on the router and then wait 30 seconds
3. Turn on printer and then wait 30 seconds
4. Turn on your iPad and test print.
