With out portal server can we enable mobile mail?

for example i using only messaging server,is it possible to enable mobile mail?
if iam using portal ,i can use MAP to enable mobile mail,but with out using portal how can i enable mobile mail?
plz give me the sugg.
thanx

If you're using a fully-capable web browser, why would you need a gateway? Just hit the webmail url, and you're done.
If you would rather use a "fat" client, Messaging is fully capable of responding to any client that talks IMAP or POP. No gateway needed.

  • POP3 support with iPlanet portal server

    Greetings,
    We are looking to use a web client (NetMail lite) or thin client (NetMail
    lite applet) with iPlanet Portal Server 6.0 sp3 out-of-the-box that will
    support POP3. It appears that NetMail lite used to support POP3, but it
    appears to only support IMAP now? Is this true?
    We are not using iPlanet Messenger Server, we are integrating with existing
    POP3 servers. Has anyone found an iPlanet client for this or used a third
    party tool for this?

    through the netlet, to access your pop3 server.

  • I have my photos on an eternal USB connected drive. I am trying to import them to PSE. The "Copy on Import" button is greyed out. How can I enable it so I can disconnect the external drive?.

    The "Copy on Import" button is greyed out. How can I enable it so I can disconnect the external drive?.

    "Copy" is normally used when connecting a camera or card reader.
    Simply copy or move folders from your external drive to your computer hard drive, then from the Organizer menu click:
    File >> Get Photos & Videos >> From Files & Folders
    Then navigate to the new location on your internal hard drive.

  • With out deleting request can we reconstruct

    Hi,
    can any one tell me With out deleting request can we reconstruct the request.

    Hi,
    loads that come through PSA move to reconstruction tab after deletion so that it can be edited in PSA and loaded again. This is mostly done for delta requests to make sure that we do not loose data in any case.
    There would be no point in reconstructing the load which is already there in the target guess you cant do it rather.
    Thanks

    Dear Neela,
    yes, with EC-CS you can do 1 company consolidation, 2 business area consolidation and 3 profit center consolidation.
    There are competitive consolidation products inside SAP, for example FIN-SEM-BCS, the BPC (the ex Outlook Soft product) and the BIP or BFR (the ex Carthesis Magnitude).

  • Can I make an itunes library available to two apple tv's with out a server?

    Is there a way to have a centralized storage unit available to the my apple tv's with out having a server up and running all the time?

    You may see some network storage devices which purport to have an iTunes server. While these can show up in iTunes as shared libraries, AppleTV can't use them as configuring AppleTVs relies on iTunes actually running and entering numeric codes to 'attach' the devices.
    While the computer seems to be a logical 'free' media hub, many people don't want a computer on 24/7 or use laptops, so some kind of standalone device would be useful.

  • Failed configuring Portal Server. can't run cacaoadm.bat

    Hi,
    I am trying to install Sun Java ES5 (2006Q4) on window XP. The configuration for portal server was failed. When I checked the logs, it complains cacao default instance was disabled and couldn't started. I went to the the directory and tried to manually run cacaoadm command. It returns:
    C:\Sun\JavaES5\share\cacao_2\bin>cacaoadm.bat enable
    This action cannot be performed by a non privileged user.
    I logged on to the windows as a user who is in the administrators group. Any other components installations were fine. I really have no idea how to solve this problem as there is no user account as administrator. Can someone please help?

    Hi Deepak,
    Thanks for the post.
    Use cacaoadm restar gives me the same error.
    I found out that is a limitation for the windows version I am using. Basically, the account for installation and configuration has to be an local administrator not in network.
    Cheers,

  • After one month or more with out .mac working, can we get our money back?

    It has been over one moth with out iweb working properly, I dont care of getting back the money of iLife, but yes to the money I am paing for my .mac account since It has been over one month that is not working and the only reason I have it is for my personal web site that is my work portal, everithing I do (Photography & Film) has to do with interactive web page, so Has been more than a month that I can't give my clients what they pay for and is really bad apple is not doing a thing.
    Ye s we have read a lot of postings that the problem is being fix as we think, but really that has been the case since a little bit more than 15 days and as today we have not seen a think fixed, still iWeb don't publish and we have tried everithing apple and users told us and still not a single good renponse.
    iWeb 2.0.2 was the worst upgrade from an apple software ever, can we get our .mac accounts money back so we can go to a better service?
    Sincerely, Adolfo Pardo: (www.cinematograf.com

    Actually when my account expires on April 18 2008 I am not renewing, any more If I don't get my money back soon I will cancel then my account and move to a more stable company, probably rapidwever or to a host way more stable yahoo or someone who hears the customers and has 24/7 service for errors on their system.

  • Why portal server can't create an instance of axis.Service class?

    Hi,gurus,
    We developed a uwl custom connector,The time out occured in that custom connector.After adding the time out value from 30s to 300s,the problem still existed.
    The code is like below:
    String endpoint = "http://172.16.127.4:8080/appframe-web/services/WorkItemService";
    Service service = new Service();    // time out code
    Call call = (Call) service.createCall();
    call.setTargetEndpointAddress(endpoint);
    call.setOperationName("wisForPortal");
    call.addParameter("userCode", org.apache.axis.encoding.XMLType.XSD_STRING, javax.xml.rpc.ParameterMode.IN);/
    call.setReturnType(org.apache.axis.encoding.XMLType.XSD_STRING);
    String temp = "36";
    Object result = call.invoke(new Object[]{temp});
    The time out occured when the portal server create an instance of Service class.Does that mean the server can't find the jars?
    But the object declaration like "Service service=null;" is all right.
    Any ideas?Thanks in advance.

    I have a project called 'Default EAR' in my workspace.
    But I can't add the JAR to the that project. These instructions are for WSAD 4, but I assume WSAD 5 is similar:
    Go to menu File and select Import. Choose "File System" to import from. Specify "Default EAR" as your folder and select the jar file from the directory/browse prompt.
    This is assuming your web app is connected to Default EAR and not some other EAR file. Also once you've done this, you will find that the jar file automatically becomes part of your build path. You didn't have to do anything extra to make that happen.

  • Weblogic server with  Websphere Portal server

    Hi,
    I am having this peculiar problem.
    I am using Websphere Portal Server and accessing an application which is running
    on Weblogic
    6.1. I am also using struts on both the portal server and weblogic server.
    The first time I access a jsp which is on weblogic from websphere portal I get
    it fine.
    I have button on this jsp on submit of which another jsp on weblogic should come
    up.
    The problem is that on click of the button the URL which is being formed is
    <ip of weblogic>/<path of portal server>.
    I have no clue why this is happening and its driving me crazy.
    Can anyone tell me whats happening?
    Thanks
    Siri

    Siri-
    This sounds like a URL rewriting issue with whatever proxy or tool you are using
    to interface from WS to WLS. Basically, for the setup to work, any URL's that
    are contained in the content served up by your WLS instance will have to be rewritten
    such that your WS instance knows that the request is actually intended for the
    WLS server.

  • Is it possible for a channel present in one portal server can be shared across another portal server?

    Say there are two portal servers A and B.
    Sample Channel is present in A iPlanet portal server which I want it to be in another
    B iPlanet portal server.If it is possible then how to configure?

    That really depends on the type of channel and what you want to share.. If it is a URL scraper or JSP channel, you should be able to define on one server and then export the definition using <b>ipsadmin</b>. This will bring it to an XML file which can then be imported on Server B using <b>ipsadmin</b>.

  • US iPhone 3GS with out contract. Can you use it on any network

    Hi there,
    does anyone know if you buy an iPhone 3GS in the US with out a contract, for the full price, if it is unlocked or you have to use it with ATT?
    Thank you
    GG

    All iphones sold in the US are carrier locked to AT&T with no way to unlock them as AT&T does not unlock iphones for anyone for any reason. Thus, an iphone purchased in the US can only be activated and used on the AT&T network. It will not work with any other carriers sim. Without contract means just that, no two year agreement. That has nothing to do with whether the phone is locked or unlocked.

    Hi  Joecui
    Please let us know did you changed the instance profile and did a restart or tries to upgrade the kernel.
    Any changes on the OS level or to the IP-ADD maybe.
    Would suggest restoring the profiles or  kernel if upgraded.
    Regards
