With recent update of Firefox, I can no longer set the default page, it always reverts back to the Mozilla page, why?
Why can I no longer set the default page to something else? Every time I open Mozilla Firefox, it always reverts back to the Mozilla page. No matter how many times I do this, it always reverts.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

After downloading the new update to Firefox I cannot get Firefox to respond. The only way I can use Firefox is in Safe Mode.

Can no longer set non-default device with QT 7
In Quicktime 6, I could choose a specific device to play through. I use this feature to play iTunes through a second soundcard and out to my stereo. I leave my default device set to the system soundcard where I have just headphones hooked up. This way no system beeps or sounds come through the stereo.
Now with Quicktime 7, I can no longer do this. Can anyone suggest a workaround? Why on earth would Apple remove this feature that was working before?Is there an answer to this dilemma yet? I run an htpc with multiple sound cards, and I definitely need to get this working. I hate to have to go back down to a previous version, if that is possible. Thanks.

Well one of those days Itunes sent me and up date that just crashed and took out my player can't start it up MSVCR.80 dill missing and now what happens to all my music and store credit and purchase s ???? anyone i'm trying to reload it i hope it don't wipe me out !
You should really read the manual.
Open itunes. Connect iphone.

When I run diagnostics, the iPod is not recognized. This occurs on both of my PCs, Desktop and Laptop. The device is a 4th Gen iPod. Always worked in the past until I updaetd iTunes. Anyone have this issue and solved it?
Disregard this... I found the issue. I have AirWatch MDM installed. For some reason, the restrictions blocked me from syncing videos. I don't know how that happened being that I am the Admin for the AirWatch MDM at my company - I made sure i allowed everything possible being that its configured for BYOD. I guess something with the update to 8.0.2 screwed with it somehow. It worked fine after uninstalling the AirWatch Profile and MDM.

Where can I set the default to be always "choose paper source by PDF page size".
every time I print a pdf document, it doesn't print in the correct page size unless I manually select this option. Can I set this to always be marked so all my pdf print on correct paper size?

I have just re-installed itunes. The previous user is still listed. When I try to login in with my account, Apple says to view my account.
When I do that, it reverts back to the other user. I want the other user totally off of my system. How do I do this?Try Store > Sign Out followed by Store > Sign In...

I have an IMac from early 2009. I've updated the OS X to Yosemite to 10.10.1 and since I've updated it, my system screensaver preferences WILL allow me to set the screensaver to IPhoto, but after a few minutes, it always reverts back to National Geographic pictures. I tried putting ALL 18,000 of my pictures into a separate folder and choosing THAT folder for the screensaver, but again - it reverted back to the National Geographic pictures.
Is there any way I can set my screensaver preferences to IPhoto pictures? Am I missing something? Thanks for any input or suggestions.Screen Saver changes on it’s own

Home Page setting option is not working after saving a new or different home page on Firefox 19.0. When opening a new page (not tab) it always reverts back to the default "Modzilla Firefox Start Page" no matter what.
That was it! There was a duplicate preference file in the profile folder. Followed the instructions under "Locked Preferences File" to
6. Delete any prefs-n.js files where n is a number (e.g. prefs-2.js).
Once I deleted it I was able to then save my preferred home page.

Cannot see Cookies with new update of firefox.<br />
I recently updated firefox, but when I look on the PRIVACY window, where<br />

I updated to Firefox 4.0.1 this morning. Norton 5.5 is now disabled and the message states that it is incompatible with 4.0.1. I need the Norton features enabled. Can I go back to 4.0 until this is resolved?

I get a runtime error when I open firefox sometimes. I recently updated to firefox 3,6.4

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
