With the new OS5 I have no video playlists

With the new OS5 I can not use my video playlists any longer, since the video playlists are no longer synchronized. Is there an alternative? It's not about playlists for the videos in the camera role (here Video Roll would do the job), but for video clips. Thanks!

I don’t have a solution for the issue of video playlists being removed from OS5 but I sure hope Apple returns the feature. The Video player app only shows thumbnails alphabetically. It does not provide a list view option that can be sorted by date created as the Playlists can. Neither does it allow a way to sort the videos into categories like family, work, sports, etc. Playlists are great for this. IMO, the removal of video playlists was a really BAD decision.

The SILENT switch on the side of the phone needs to be OFF-the red/orange means ON and Silver, Gray, Gold whatever color the phone is OFF. Switch needs to be switched closer to the screen in other words towards the screen. I had the same issue and discovered this was the culprit for NO SOUND in Videos.

Before you make an apple ID with the new email, go to appleid.apple.com. login with your old email and password. change your old email to your new one. Now you can use your new email as your apple id, but beware if you go through the process of creating a new appleid with your new email address you will not be able to attach your old account to your new email.

I am so disappointed that with the new IOS7 I have lost my yellow note pad that was different from any other harsh white background that gives me headaches...please tell me that I can go back to what I was comfortable with?

Agree, the new notes is useless. If I wanted a blank background, with a washed out looking font I would use my email, except the font in my email is dark enough to read easily in the grocery.
Interesting to note how awkward the top menu is in iOS7 on a message board, it constantly drops down when selecting text.

Maybe it didn't install correctly, I have Windows XP if that makes a difference. I know from the tour when the new one loaded there is supposed to be a bookmarks thing next to the new location for home but it's not on there either. It's still on my toolbar so I don't care enough to fix it so there is no need for anyone to address it, I just put the info in case it tells you something about it not installing properly.

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.

when I changed my e-mail address and got a new computer so I have downloaded iTunes and it recognizes my iPod but when I have bought 3 new songs it wouldn't let me sync the songs onto my iPod. Have tried clicking 'transfer songs' but it wont work. I don't know what else to do these are really good songs AND I've paid for them and I need them for my work. So basically you are trying to sync your Nano on a new computer/iTunes library? iPods are designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time.
To add new content to the iPod, you'll need to restore the iPod to factory settings in iTunes. However, if you have content on your iPod that needs to be copied to iTunes first, see this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different ways to do this.

You are having a problem in your individual case.
Have you tried basics fro the manual? restart, reset, restore.

HT1386 I have a new computer and when I tried to sync my iPod Touch with the new iTunes, it has lost all of my music and videos from my iPod/old iTunes library: including all but 4 songs of my bought songs, videos and audeobooks!

I have recently updated my computer since my old one broke and therefore had to download a new iTunes. When I came to add my iPod to this new iTunes, I was given no option to transfer the contents of my iPod library to this new iTunes and was forced to try 'sync'; when my old computer was repaired once we lost all of our data so I had to download a new iTunes then,all of my iPod downloads were transferred and I could easily reburn my CDs so I didn't think the wiping of my iPod would be a problem. When I clicked 'sync' it warned me that it would replace the contents of my iPod with the new iTunes library, as I said I didn't think this would be a problembut then it asked if it should transfer my recent iTunes downloads so I said 'yes'. The sync was completed but now I only have 4 downloaded songs and 5 albums which I burned to my new iTunes! I have lost all the music I bought, all the videos I bought and all the audiobooks I bought! (Luckily I still have my apps.) I tried to restore backup but realised that only covers calendars, contacts E.T.C and I checked my iTunes account and that shows all my downloads but I can't see a way to restore them or anything like that!
Please help! I am in despair as you can imagine how much moneys worth I have lost and am losing faith in Apple

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?
