With the new upgrade we have lost the secure payment lock
We have lost the secure payment icon at the bottom left of the screen. It was working until we uploaded the latest version of Mozilla
The whole status bar was redesigned, so now you use the area to the left of the address (green, blue, or plain) to check whether the site is secure.

I’ve got a new MacBookair11 2weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Today I’ve tried to synchronize it via icloud with my ipad and I have lost the camera.
Looking through help in internet I found out that I had to reset the SMC. I did exactly as per instructions given but with no luck.

I have installed the new OS and have lost a part of my personal data: music files and pictures. The new safari is horrible. Give me back the previous version! Or fix the bugs!

Hi All, i recently done a back up and update & restore, but ive lost my notes, my text messages and my reminders and notes on the calender, i also have lost the data i had in an app which was very important to me. Please Please help me, i,m total novice.
I did this back up because i was instructed by my service provider. This was supposed to sort out my losing connection problem, which it didn't, it instead gave me a new problem. If there is anyone out there who can help me to retrieve my lost information i would appreciate it.
Thank You in advance.You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Is anyone else feeling the same way....why did you fix something that wasn't broken? I purchased an expensive ipad and liked the features, with one click I accepted the IOS7 operating system, not being informed of what I would lose, if I chose to upgrade...I was only informed about those things that would work better...not impressed with the new floating look to the screen, makes me feel light headed, bringing on a migraine...anyone else having problems with the new system?
Agree, the new notes is useless. If I wanted a blank background, with a washed out looking font I would use my email, except the font in my email is dark enough to read easily in the grocery.
Interesting to note how awkward the top menu is in iOS7 on a message board, it constantly drops down when selecting text. -
I had to reset my computer because of a virus i had. When i re installed itunes my music was gone. I went to plug in my Iphone 5 and know my phone does not recognize the computer. I also have hit the trust button on my iphone but have to continue trusting the computer each time it gets plugged in. Still the phone wont connect to itunes at all to view what is on the phone. How do i fix this connection problem?

First day I had my Apple I was on Craig's List looking at an item and somehow I deleted the return arrow to go back to the original list. So now when I'm on a site, there's no arrow to go back and I have to close and start all over. How do I get the return arrow that I believe is on the left side of the screen? I've never had an Apple, so all of this is new to me. Thanks! Jo
If I understand your question, you need to select View > Customize Toolbar from the Safari menu bar. Drag the back/forward arrows into the toolbar wherever you want them, then click Done.
You can also go back to the previous page by pressing command-left arrow on the keyboard. -
since new update i find the new look not suitable. you could lift and drag feeds to a new booklet very easy, this new one seems impoosible, unless i am not looking in the right place

Right clicking on that does, in fact, produce a menu; but, it has NO ENTRY like you described. It has, only {from top to bottom} Open / Open in a new tab ' Open in a new window / New Bookmark / New Folder / New Separator / Cut / Copy / Paste / Delete and, lastly, Properties!!! Which one of those ONLY POSSIBILITIES were you calling the "Toolbar Menu" on which we need to click??? -

Then just select the calendar to sync in iTunes again in the Info Tab before you sync. If you were running iOS 5 and were using iCloud go to Settings>iCloud>Calendar>On.

In iTunes 10 I can see the apple tv but have lost the menu options
I am currently running iTunes 10 and 2 apple tv,s 1st generation. I can see the apple tv in the iTunes device list and when I select can see the device. Previously I used to be able to select what music movies tv Shostakovich etc that I synced with the apple tv, now I am only able to see settings and photos. I no longer have the opportunity to select some and have to access via streaming to my desktop.
Can someone advise f this is part of an iTunes upgrade or what I need to do to get the functionality backWelcome to the Apple Community.
Sounds like your Apple TV has been set to streaming only. Select settings/computers/library from the Apple TV and disconnect, then settings/computer/connect to iTunes and re-connect. -

Blueberry's spot on (again brilliant, man!), I lost my paperwork as well but still had the receipt from the Apple Store. I called AppleCare and they ended up issuing me a new serial number that they emailed to me and registered with their system. Easy as pie.
