I am unable to purchase anything at the iTunes store with this computer. The message is:

I always need to go back to my older laptop to purchase anything.
Can anyone help?

I use Win 7 ultimate with a fresh install of itunes. My Win 7 has never had a installation of itunes before.
I have tried disabling my firewall, but nothing changes.

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

I have been trying to view my recent purchases for a month now and I'm finally frustrated. I can download, upload everything fine but I'm always getting the E-mails that I have paid Itunes 2.99 or .99 cents which is fine since three people in my family are using the account but I really want to be able to see my purchase history in the Itunes store. Any idea how to fix this issue. It's happening on multiple PC's as well. They all are running windows 7.

I am unable to redownload OS X Mavericks on a Late 2013 new Macbook Pro 13". I get a message saying "We could not complete your purchase" " OS X Mavericks can not be installed on this computer"
I nee an easy way to resolve this with Apple.why is it this problematic to resolve?! obviously there's a valid installer image for our macs, why can we not have access to it to use on our laptops?
I do not understand, nor accept the explanation given before - about it being a newer model... it doesn't make sense... how does that translate to "no download available".

Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go then move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. Try purchasing Mountain Lion. -
Photoshop CC: When I'm trying to draw a rectangle I can't fill it or create a stoke because there is a message telling me; "Could not complete your request because of a program error. What can I do?
It is a mute point now. PSE12 finally failed to the point it locked up the MAC. I had to restore the MAC OS from backup to a point before the PSE12 update.
The MAC now operates correctly and so does PSE12. I don't think I'll be updating PSE any time soon. -

This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder. -

Have you tried removing all 3rd party plug-ins?
Also, resetting preferences to defaults may help... Press and hold Command - Shift - Option immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

I have a curve 9300 using os 6 and the latest app world 2.1.1.. something
when i try to download apps it initiates the download then after a couple of seconds after starting it shows the error message "there was a problem during installation. Please try again"
i have tried ALL the suppourt forums (KB26671 and KB30074) and suggestions/threads and called my network but none have worked.
these were reinstallign app world, making a new blackberry id as the other email address was associated with an old blackberry, security wiping the phone then restoring it and entering the new bb id, changing the date to 2014 and then hard wiping the phone and restoring it
i have twitter, facebook and bbm ect apps but these are RIM made i think and already preinstalled. everything else on the phone works fine
i have tried both wifi and network internet and battery pull
i really dont know what else to try or who else to contact to fix it. very annoying paying for a service you cant even use!
any help or more ideas would be great!

I can't upgrade to iTunes Plus. I can download songs normally but when I try to upgrade I continue to get the error message. Please help.

1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
open the Terminal application.
copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
followed by Enter.
launch App Store, login.
2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:

everytime i try to download an app from itunes, or to 'view all' the apps listed, the error says; 'We could not complete your iTunes Store reuest. The network connection was reset' I used both my desktop and laptop both on Windows 7 Pro, & net is fine. please help. is there soemthing wrong with apple store temporarily?

In between, I got a messge about verifying my payment method. When I tried to submit the details, I kept getting a mmessage stating that my payment method was declined (my card is not near it's expiration date, and works fine).

Guys I'm facing a problem related to App Store. I managed to update my system to Version 10.7.4 to try to sort out the issue but again I cannot update/buy any apps, OS X ML included.
The message is: "we could not complete your purchase: unknown error"
I tried erasing the cache of App Store, log off and in, restart the system...nothing!
Can Anybody help me, please? I'm a Mac user less than a year but I never had serious issues before.

Authorization - 'we could not complete your iTunes store request. an unknown error occured (-42408)
I was having problems connecting my iPhone 4s to my iTunes, so I was advised to restore my phone as I had everything backed up to my laptop.
I have restored my phone 3 times now and cannot sync anything to it as i need 'authorization' but whenever I enter my apple ID and password to complete the authorization i get a pop-up saying
'we could not complete yout iTunes store request. an unknown error occured (-42408) there was an error in the iTunes store. please try again later'
like I said, I've restored my iphone 3 times now and get this every time and in doing so I have lost everything that was on my phone (that im not worried about) i just want to know how I can authorize my laptop so I can sync music to my iphone.
I am up to date with the latest itunes and all softward on my phone.Doublechecking. In the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you worked through the following document?

(If not, perhaps first try the "Remove the SC Info folder" instructions from the document.)
