With Windows Vista Once the file is Downloded I Can't Open File, Whats wrong, What Can I Do to Solve this problem?
Tried to download an AntiVirus program Windows Vista and Firefox, once I click download the file is taken to the Download management window, then I try to open the File by Double-Click' or Right Clicking The Mouse, but nothing happens. the word Open it's not Highlighted or the right click won't do anything. Has anybody experienced this problem before? Help
If "Open" and "Open Containing Folder" in the right-click context menu in the Download Manager window are grayed then that means that the file is no longer in the original download location and they may have been removed by Anti-virus or cleanup software.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.

Everything else looks like it transfers (though appearance is different, I'm guessing from different Windows), but bookmarks are blank when transfer from Windows 7 to Windows Vista.
Firefox's built-in ability to play MPEG-encoded media through its built-in HTML5 player requires the Media Foundation components of Windows.
Some users may have blocked this from within Firefox in order to make it easier to download MP3s. To double-check on that:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''media''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) If '''media.windows-media-foundation.enabled''' is in bold type and "user set" to false, double-click to switch its value back to true.
(4) If '''media.windows-media-foundation.play-stand-alone''' is in bold type and "user set" to false, double-click to switch its value back to true.
Then try reloading the tab with the MP3.
If Firefox is set to use Media Foundation and it still doesn't work, maybe something is missing from Windows. Another Windows 7 user reported that they were able to fix a problem with Media Foundation using a download from Microsoft:

IPad not sync with windows vista since the beginning
iPad is not talking to the windows Vista computer. Plugging the cable make bips but no recognition of the iPad. Additional iTunes locks and becomes irresponsive. Softwares loaded to many times and always showing impaled OK. Many hours lost just loading and removing softwares. No one seems to get the right detail that lock the iTunes.
TksiTunes is 10.2.2.12 they announced that the last patch should solve Vista blockages ...not on mine anyway!

The problem with flash player is definitely negative for a device such as Ipad 2 ...
Flash is not, and quite possibly never will be, suppported (and which is well known about iOS devices) : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
Apps such as Skyfire claim to support flash, but their reviews are mixed. Some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so you could try checking there. -

No, you would not need to get another phone unless you want one. But the main thing that needs to be done is to sync the media back onto your iPhone. Strange Issue with windows Vista

My user is not able to connect Cisco 5400 with windows vista while the same user is able to connect via windows XP.Dialer settings for both the windows are same .I am using windows dialer for both windows.I am using PAP authentication protocol

1. Set logging level to full:
System Configuration > Service Control > Services Log File
Configuration: Level of detail = FULL
2. Reproduce the problem
3. Note the time-stamp from the problem-reproduction
4. Collect Package.cab:
System Configuration > Support > Click on: "Run Support Now"
--> This will prompt you after a while to download Package.cab to your
local machine.
5. Upload Package.cab to SR notes along with the time-stamp of the

We just bought two Dell E520 computers that will come pre loaded with Windows Vista OS. I also have a WRT54GL router still fresh in the box and un opened.
When we receive our new computers we want to use our new WRT54GL.
Dose Linksys have new drivers that will be compatable and run with Windows Vista and the WRT54GL?

Can I use the Linksys CD that came with the router. On the CD it says Run CD First. Can this disk run on Windows Vista?
If not do I need to somewhere on Linksys site to download a new disk?

Suddenly, as of two weeks ago, iTunes will no longer play any music. I tried reinstalling but this did not work either. I have a PC with Windows Vista. Has anyone else experienced this problem and fixed it?
Yes, I just tried playing a 10-second mp3 file I acquired from The Oatmeal and didn't once pass my external hard disk. It's a simple, monotone, high-frequency sound, but I get the same results: VLC's UI is still responsive, but its functionality freezes up, i.e. the buttons are still animated, and the menu still works, but there's no sound, the progress bar doesn't move, and the file doesn't play.

Why is it that when I connect my iPhone 5S to my Windows Vista computer, the photos made with my iPhone are all of very low quality and most of them are turned upside down?
On another note, the iPhone tells me that it's ''busy'' when opening a photo on the computer.
(I tried restarting my PC, connecting via another USB port, importing using PhotoStream, etc...)Are you using the front or rear camera? When you say they are low quality, are you referring to file/pixel size, or how the picture looks? As far as upside down, how are you holding the phone? Older versions of Windows have issues reading the Metadata from the pictures and will not display the same.
