It worked fine for a couple of years with no problem. I've talked to our website master for jetnet.aa.com and he says if's a Firefox problem. I have no problem on Internet Explorer.

Anyone else have the issue where, after the 8,3 upgrade, you cannot access more than 1 exchange account on your iPhone? This is annoying to me as I need to access 4 daily and cannot due to this error.
The first one, my private home email, works fine. With the other 3, I get the message "Cannot get mail: The connection to the server failed"
All were working fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I did try the old trick of making one minor change on the account and resaving, but that did not change anything. I even deleted my work account and re-entered it from scratch, but again, sadly, no luck. For the time being, I am successfully getting the email via IMAP, but this ***** compared to exchange. Anyone have any idea what is happening or if a fix is in the works?Well, the one set up on exchange 2k3 is now working fine, although no changes were made on either the iPhone or the exchange side, so that's fun, but it still is throwing errors when connecting to the other 2 exchange accounts. The common elements are that both non-functioning exchange accounts are google apps for business accounts. So is one of the ones that's working, by the way. The settings on both accounts are the same as the one that's working, and both worked fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I have no issue accessing both of these accounts on my ipad which is currently on 8.2.x. If it's not the iphone OS at fault, I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

Lightroom 4 crashes when trying to open the slideshow module. I spent over three hours with both Adobe and Apple tech support and we know it is a permission issue but have not been able to get it solved. It started with the last upgrade to 10.8
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
The first step should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word, all lower case, with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select
▹ Restart

I use sites with pdf's a lot. Why isn't pdf viewing built into Firefox? The extensions can't keep up with your rapid upgrade program.

The spinning beach ball of death came with the last upgrade.
I have used Firefox for a long time and it has always been instantly responsive. With the last upgrade, every click brings several seconds of waiting. I cleaned house - emptied caches, defragged, etc. - but the delay still persists. Performing the same operations in Safari and IE is still instant.
di you update the new hard drive in Tiger using Tiger's Disk Utility. Also check ASP and see if the hard drive is recognized.

My ipad has frozen with a sign which says cannot access icloud account, can either press ignore or settings and whichever I press it wont let me. It has frozen it and wont even let me close down or go onto anything else...
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons

All my events suddenly disappeared after my last upgrade of FireFox. I have deleted cookies etc but no events show up from Fire Fox or IE8 attempts. I believe this is a Google issue as a result of their attempt to upgrade their own Google Calendar product. Can you confirm this is absolutely not a FireFox related issue?
Also my Wall Street Journal now fails to load articles sending me a "failure to load type message...please try again" message. On the please try again the clicked article loads ok and all others load as long as I don't close FireFox.

Clearing "Site Preferences" in "Clear Recent History" will remove exceptions that are stored in content-prefs.sqlite (site specific settings for zoom) and permissions.sqlite (exceptions for images, cookies, pop-ups, software; Tools > Page Info > Permissions) in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder].
The password exceptions (Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Show Passwords) are also removed from signons.sqlite. -

This problem can be solved in seconds with just 8 or 10 clicks of your mouse. As you are reading this you are already in Internet explorer. At the top left hand side of your screen you should see the below words.
File Edit View Favourites Tools Help
If you can't see the above words then right click on any blank area on the third bar from the top of your screen and click on menu bar
Now click on Tools then click on Internet Options. Then click on the Advanced tab at the top right hand side of that page. Now click on the Reset button near the bottom right hand side. Now close and then re-open your Internet explorer.

I can no longer log in to my internet banking. it keeps asking me to use the correct format in my access number, but i haven't changed anything. I have spoken to my bank and they said that it is an issue with the latest Firefox update and that Firefox are aware of it. I just need it fixed or i will have to go back to a previous version of Firefox.
I use only support.mozilla.org and never used any other websites. However, the same problem here. My ID and Password are not accepted. Had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email, because "it is used by another account". Try to reset password - receive no email (even though there is a confirmation on the website that email to reset password has been sent). At the same time can easily receive a confirmation about User ID and account activation. Thus, the account is completely locked, and I can not use my email address for a new one. Please fix this problem.

I can no longer attach photos of docs using yahoo mail since new upgrade. why not and what can I do to fix this. attachments are a very integral part of the e-mail functionality. what have you guys done? how is this fixed?

With the last upgrades my Firefox has lost all sound, how can I get it Back?.
I Upgraded to OpenSUSE 13.1 a few months ago. Firefox lost the ability to give me sound with Utube video's. I tried the Tumbleweed upgrade system, but it was not to my liking. So I have done a fresh install from DVD, and most of what I want is working well. Firefox is not playing sounds, where do I look to see what is missing?
Francis BrightonAre other applications able to play sounds? If so, are some things able to produce sound in firefox but not others? For instance, playing a youtube video versus playing an mp3 (which would be easy to test by providing a file:// link to a mp3 on your hd) versus playing a wav or ogg file.
If firefox is simply unable to play any of these things at all, you may be missing a vital plugin. If it is able to play videos for you but not the associated audio, try starting firefox from a terminal and check to see if there is any output to the terminal (on startup or when playing a audio/video file) that might be relevant.
If nothing above seems to shed any light on things, you may also want to try running ldd on it as well (in a terminal, try typing ldd $(which firefox) and look for missing libraries). -
Recent Itunes upgrade, now cannot access store, PLZ Help
My Itunes was working perfectly until I did the recent upgrade. Now I cannot connect to the store. The connections are the same, only change was the upgrade.
I ran the restore feature in windows to roll back to earlier time, but still having same problem.
I would gladly uninstall Itunes and Quicktime and reinstall fresh, if I knew _how to save the 300 album cover artwork and playlists and purchased items_ I had saved in itunes to link to my apple t.v.

Copy those folders to a safe location and then, after the new install, move them back to the correct locations. -

If by 'My mrs was using the same email address but different password' you are referring to iTunes accounts, then the primary email address on an iTunes account has to be unique - there can't be multiple accounts with the same email address.
And the music was purchased from iTunes, it's not music that was copied from CDs or bought from other sites ? -
Registered with Verizon My Domain and cannot access email
I have spent the past TWO DAYS trying to get assistance from Verizon customer support. I have talked with EIGHT different representatives and none of them know how to help me.
Last week I registered my verizon.net email with Verizon Your Domain and paid the $19.95 annual fee to keep my email address. After receiving a confirmation that my transaction was successful and complete, I proceeded to cancel my Verizon home phone and internet service. Verizon cancelled my email when they cancelled my phone and internet.
I was told via email from a Verizon Your Domain specialist that I needed Broadband Essentials to keep my email. I DO NOT NEED INTERNET SERVICE. I HAVE INTERNET SERVICE. According to Verizon Your Domain I do not need Verizon internet to keep my email!
If this isn't bad enough, I've been charged TWICE and I still have no email!
Can someone please help me? I followed the instructions to a T and have spent two hours on the phone with absolutely NO RESOLUTION!

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal. -
I recently encountered a problem with both my account, for some reason it wouldn't accept my new password. And this was about the fith time I'd had to change it! I even wrote it down to ensure I wasn't mistyping it. But for some reaon it wasn't letting me log in form my phone or from my ipad. So I tried to reset it once again. However when I visited the website and searched for my username, it came back saying my 'account name doesn't exist!' I tried again and again but nothing. I thought maybe it would fix itself if I created a new account with the same details, so I did. But now none of my past purchases or my wishlist are showing up - and all my details are exactly the same! I've tried logging in using the old passwrd for my 'other' account but it's not working. And I tried searching for it again to reset the passwrod but it only resets this NEW account.
