Within the budget template; how would one create an entire year worth of a budget; with out having to create a separate page for each month?

Loving the budget template, but I would like to be able to create an entire years worth of a buget with out creating a whole new transaction/budget page for each month. How do I get the new transaction to identify a new budget chart?

Emily,
No need to think the budget template is only for one month. Just keep typing the date in the date column of the "Transactions" sheet and the details will update. You should adjust the budget categories to match the duration of time you want to use.
If you do want month-by-month, then you can switch to the "Transactions" sheet, select the table, cut
then switch back to the "Budget" sheet, paste.
Now rename the "Budget" sheet something like "Budget Jan 2014", and delete the "Transactions" sheet. Set the budget for Jan in the column I highlighted above. The subsequent months, duplicate the monthly budget:
Then adjust the the entries in the transactions table inside this sheet.

I must not have chosen a hard back book when I started my project of creating a photo book. when I go to buy the book it only allows me to buy the small soft cover book. How would one go about to chage the settings?

When I load one of my own cd's onto itunes, it creates separate albums for each unique pairing (ie: singer/composer or singer/orchestra). I end up with
the cuts scattered over several albums. How do I keep all the cuts on an album together rather than divided between several albums? I'm brand new with this technology, so I need your information in simple terms. Thank-you.Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. How would one skip from point to point that the video is changing while editing, like if a certain set of pixels changed to white, and then mark it.?
Basically, I have a set camera, and when certain objects change color I want to mark it. Think of a baseball flying through the air off a pitchers hand, and be able to skip to each point the pitcher is in that position.The only method of this level of content analysis I'm aware of is with your eyes.
You'll just have to wacth the video to find those parts. -
How can I sum up raws? the Sum function seems to work only on columns. Right now I have to create a separate formula for each raw

You do need a separate formula for each group of values to be summed.
If the values are in columns, you need a copy of the formula for each column.
If the values are in rows, you need a copy of the formula for for each row.
If you set up your formulas as SGIII did in his example (shown below), where every non-header row has the same formula, Numbers will automtically add the formula to new rows as you add them.
"Same formula" in this context means exactly the same as all the formulas above, with one exception: the row reference in each formula is incremented (by Numbers) to match the row containing the formula.
Here the formula looks like this in the three rows shown.
B2: =SUM(2)
B3: =SUM(3)
B4: =SUM(4)
That pattern will continue as rows are added to the table.
Also, because the row token (2) references all of the non-header cells in row 2, the formula will automatically include new columns as they are added to the table.

How may one add more than one images?I understand what you mean - I too, would like to see some variability in the 'default'. Besides having a single default, I would step that up to a default that changes with genre and media: ie. I could see using a sax for Jazz; a microphone for a Podcast, etc.
I don't have the answer to your question yet, but I think I'm going to crack open the iTunes package to see what default images there are embedded in there. -
"System Default" kind of wipe: possible? How would one do this?
Would it be possible to take an existing installation and effectively reinstall all packages, restore all configuration files to their default config as if on a new install on that program, and wipe all user data (probably not in that order) so as to restore a system to a kind of "first boot" setting but with your current package listing retained.
How would one go about this? Could one slip into a terminal, sudo rm -r /some/folders/here (what folders necessary?) and then use pacman to reinstall ... everything (what kind of command would get you that? something with a grep listing?)karol wrote:

Depends on what changed in Arch in the meantime, what changes you made and what do you mean by 'most of the job'.
Let's say you've made your backup a couple months ago and now you want to move from grub-legacy to syslinux, install KDE and try systemd. If you revert to said backup in a month, you will have to do a few important changes "manually" because at the time of that backup you were using grub, initscripts and e.g. Gnome.
Reverting to the "clean slate" backup, updating it and making a fresh backup once you've tested the new configuration shouldn't be much of a problem but it's not automatic. You may need to perform some manual conflict resolution etc. (see the home page).
This is exactly why I wanted to strip the system clean and let the programs act as if this were a new install, without changing my partition table, have to download 12 gigs of data, etc. Reinstall the system without a format. Some of these changes that needed manual adjustment have caused a bit of a headache, it would be nice to have a nuclear option without having to reinstall. Especially now that AIF isn't around anymore I'd have to have a second computer to tell me what commands to run just to get things going again... -
Changed password on MacBook Pro recently. But after password change. Computer ask for old password, thereafter. Even when correctly supplying the old password. Computer system does not boot up and just freezes. What is causing the problem and how can one resolve the issue?

Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”. -
I have a brand new macbook with microsoft office loaded. I set outlook as the default mail. i would rather go back to mac mail but can't figure out how to do it. any ideas?

LouI have a similar problem: I switched from mac mail to Outlook 2011 as the default client, and want to switch back. Mailto links (eg from browser etc) default to Mail. However, when I try to email a Word document as an attachment, it continues to open Outlook. Outlook has a button in its prefs for making it the default client, but I don't see a way to turn this pref off in either Outlook or in Word.

are you talking about voiceover where the phone is reading things out loud to you? you have to double tap things in voiceover in order to select them. you'll need to go to settings > general > accessibility > and turn off voiceover there

I have CS 6 installed on a Win 7 OS machine. I can not connect to the internet to get updates from within the program. How do I fix this?
IP routing doesn't work the way many folks might initially think it does; functional IP routing requires manual configuration and the establishment of static routes and default routes specific to the local network configurations, and it's very easy to get it wrong, or to get the default route swapped. Multiple NIC boxes don't magically work, either. (Been there, done that, wondered what happened to my network when the paths got reordered or my route settings were messed up, etc.)
Routing configuration errors can be quite subtle, too. (Again, voice of experience. Ever had a thousand-seat office LAN accidentally routing through your desktop? As the, um, unnamed guilty party discovered, getting into that configuration was subtle. Seeing the performance crater on the fellow's box and on the LAN was obvious.)
Knowing how IP routing works is a prerequisite to getting this configuration to work; there's manual configuration required. Clearly something has gone weird here.
What to do? Read up on IP routing. I'll again suggest the threads and the manual mentioned earlier.
And in general, I prefer to avoid using my comparatively expensive Mac boxes as sub-optimal IP routers or as firewall boxes. General-purpose operating systems and generic x86 boxes are going to be inherently poor IP routers. Dedicated routers (or embedded or surplus x86 boxes with routing software loaded) offload the Mac boxes here, and are also typically easier to configure manage. And "real" IP routers can have hardware specific to efficiently routing packets. Use of an outboard firewall or firewall-router box also greatly simplifies gateway routing, too; it's a configuration that many folks and many businesses tend to use. -
