Dear Expert,
Our user has a requirement for creating a new tax code
requirement is -BED_5%, ECS_2%, SECS_1%, VAT_D_3% (Input)
I have done- in FTXP i have created a new tax code i.e. BT then i hv assign with co.code, what will be next step in FV11 can U tell me ???
Thanks in Advance !Hi,
As per your new tax code the condition types used in the calculation procedure for the TAX code you have to maintain condition record in FV11.
Like for BED you have usen suppose JMIP condition type then go to FV11 and give JMIP condition type there and select country and Tax code condition table and maintain the percentage rate for your tax code.
Same like for the rest of the condition type as per the respective percentage.

Does Apple TV work with wifi that requires you to enter a username and password via the web?
The wifi service is a public hot spot that is provided by my cable company (Comcast/Xfinity) for its customers. It requires you to enter your user name and password via a website prior to using it. Is there a way to make this work with Apple TV?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Welcome to the Apple Community.
There is no web browser on the Apple TV, you cannot directly use a wifi connection that requires a log in this way. you may wish to look at Internet sharing with a notebook. -
Tax code required on freight charges
Hello,
I upgraded to 8.8.1 pl09 last weekend.
Yesterday when we invoice our daily orders we began receiving the following error:
"Tax code required for freight charges [A/R Invoice - Freight - Rows - Tax Code][line: 2] [Message 439-114]"
This is new. Didn't happen last week, so I'm pretty sure it's due to a new setting in the upgrade.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
If this was a requirement in the past, it was always automated. I need it to be that way again.
The tax code does exist, the field is just not populating as it did in the past.
Thanks,
jim
Edited by: Jmonteith on Dec 13, 2011 2:21 PMHi,
I checked in DEMO, the error is displayed if the freight tax code is not defined on the row level.
I also checked with a tax code which was marked as 'Freight'. The checkbox was marked in the tax code set up.
When I created a new delivery, the tax code was populated for the Items as well as the freight.
Kind Regards,
Jitin

Forget iPhone password, when connect to computer "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a pass code. You must enter pass code on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
You have to restore it using a computer with iTunes per the knowledge base article above.
With iOS 7, if you have Find My Phone turned on you can login to iCloud from a computer and send an erase signal to the iPhone to clear it...that will erase all content and settings. -
Tax codes - can you set up default value for rows and freight? HELP!
Hello - I have two issues with tax codes:
1. When adding a sales order if any of the rows do not have a value for "Tax Code" I will get an error "Row without tax was found".
- How can I get all rows on my sales orders, documents, etc to default to a specific tax code? Or will users ALWAYS have to enter the tax code?
2. When addring a sales order with Freight, if the order is added without adding a tax code to the freight I will get an error "Expense with tax was found"
- How can I get the tax code have a default value? We always use the same tax code, so it is redundant to have to enter this information.
Any suggestions?Hi Jhon,
this is the simplest and best way to make a Tax Code default is Go to
Answer for Question 1
Administration -> Setup -> Financial -> Tax -> Tax Code Determination (Click on this)
in that screen you can set a default tax code for both sales as well as Purchase.
If you want to set Tax Code based on Vendors or Customers or Items separately then you can use the Key Fields.
Answer for Question 2
Once you enter the Tax Code in the freight i think it takes the Tax Code itself, I'm not so sure about this one though.
Hope this helps you out

How to show the witholding tax name instead of the code in PLD
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to show the witholding tax name instead of the witholding tax code in the summary or end of report in the PLD(AR Invoice)?
Thanks.
EricHi Eric
I have tried to get it directly from the table: Witholding Tax, field: WTaxName; but there's no way to relate that with the A/R Invoice document so it shows me a wrong WT Name.
As this tables is not directly exposed/related to the document the best way is try to create a Formatted Search in order to get the description you want. Please note the WT is get from a table and if you have more than 1 type of WT it may not work in a End of Report as it does not have the capacity as repetitive area to read multiple lines.

In this case yo have to create new two condition for VAT/CST and assign that condition in OBYZ for your TAXINN procedure
here account key will same which for old condition, here you have to control from and to in such way that VAT/cat will calculate on BASIC value only
for that create new tax code and in fv11 maintain tax condition for plant and tax code
when you use this tax code in Po vat/cst will calculate on BASIC value only

Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category - Table handling
Dear Experts,
in SRM 7.0, CS, i am facing the following requirement regarding tax codes:
We have users from different countries using SRM. These different countries have different tax codes that are to be used for legal reasons.
My question is, how i can achieve a system behaviour, by which in the shopping cart, the correct tax codes gets selected automatically, based on the country of the user, who is creating the shopping cart.
Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Thank you very much for your help in understanding the topic.Hi
Here are my responses to your questions:
Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
Answer - If you have a requirement where different countries have different tax codes, then you do need this confiugration. Otherwise Configuraiton in Enter Tax Code are sufficient.
Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
Answer - Sometimes you have different codes for International and Domestic purchases for a product Category. IN those situations you can select Domestic/International field to differentiate btw tax codes. Otherwise this field can be left blank
Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
Answer - No, if you enter country, then Category Id field is mandatory. You may enter * in case you dont have multiple backend systems. otherwise you will ve to ve individual entries for each category and backend system.
Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Answer - It is picked up from the address of the user where is will receive goods. and Domestic/International will be decided based on Vendor address with reference to thta address.
I hope my responses clarify your doubts.

Virender Singh
