Without a receipt, but with a bank statement, will I be able to get a free replacement on my broken iPod headphones, bought only two months ago?

I bought a new pair of iPod headphones just over two months ago from an HMV store, and in the last few days, one of the headphones has stopped working altogether. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt for the headphones, but I do have the information booklet, the one year warranty statement and a bank statement showing the transaction of when I purchased the headphones. Am I still able to get a refund or replacement for my headphones, as the damage was not my fault, just a technical fault?

Yes. Make a trip to your local Apple Store and show them what is going on. Since the headset is still under a year old, they should swap it out for you at no cost. Unless for some reason they deem the issue the result of misuse or abuse, but that doesn't sound like the case here.

    SAP has provided several reports for the EBS. the EBS report can be accessed through FF.6. As the data gets stored in at table level, there is an option to create custom specific reports as per the user requirements.

      Now...I can't get it to play--with volume.   I can hear the notes...but faintly.  And I have pushed ALL possible volume controls up (Keyboard & iPad). 
      I know the keyboard is triggering, because I tested it on a MacBook: got full volume, just like before.
      But just can't get full volume from the iPad2.  I got a 4-port USB hub...and tried interfacing it between the keyboard and the connector kit/iPad2.  But still no volume.  It's almost like a switch is off in the iPad???
      Any help would be appreciated.  Dan

    i didn't really dare to delete the blue home folders before, just in case everything went wrong, but now i think i have so little space that i can't afford to lose 2.25gb!
    one thing that slightly worries me is the fact that the 'proper' library folder (in the home icon) is 2.09gb, whereas the 'wrong' one (from the blue folder forenamesurname) is 2.24gb - this is the one i would be deleting. just seems odd to delete a larger file than the one i presume i'm using.
    "Move everything you want to keep out of the blue folders, and then place both of the folders on your desktop. If everything works properly after a few days, delete both folders. If you are asked for your administrator password at any point or if either folder is copied instead of moved when dragged, don't delete that folder."
    by 'everything you want to keep', does this include the library folder? 'cause there doesn't seem to be much else, and i'm not sure if deleting the library folder would ruin all my preferences.
    i've put both of the folders on the desktop, it didn't ask for the admin password or try to copy them, so i guess that's good news. what kind of things should i be looking out for to act differently?
    are the folders not in use now that they are on the desktop?
    also if i put them in the trash will they have no effect? i.e. the same as permanently deleting them, so i could put them in the trash as a test.

    1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
    2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker)

    Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    I do not think it included audio books.

    You'll need to do an Assumption of Liability. The parent that is the account owner and your boyfriend will both have to be at the store to do this. Your line is actually your parents and it will be your fiancee's once the change is made. But you should be able to get your upgrade and you definitely get to keep your number. Also depending on your fiancee's credit history there may be a security deposit required.

    You would have to buy it separately.  Refurbished machines are sold as they were originally configured so you cannot customize the machine when you order it.

    I'd be VERY surprised if your machine was not shipping with Lion installed. However even if it doesn't when you initally install Lion it will launch into Setup Assistant, if you follow the prompts it will ask if you are migrating from another machine. You can use Pondini's Lion Setup Assistant tips for help, look for the section(s) on MS Windows migration. Also I would strongly recommend bookmarking and studying the following sites:

    Find Out How Video tutorials
    In closing remember you have 90 days of free telephone support with AppleCare. If you run into trouble they will be happy to assist or if you have an Apple Store in your area you can book an appointment with a Genius and they can usually help you out.

    Having taken out an 18 month contract in 2012 (Nov) We were happy BT users.
    In august 2013 we moved house - taking our broadband with us. All went smoothly.
    The landlord has decided the sell the property we live in meaning that two months before the contract is due for renewal we're moving out.
    We're moving back in with the parents whilst we look for another place to live. Unfortunately upon ringing BT to discuss possible solutions I am told that it'll cost £170 to cancel early...
    I ask whether its possible to wait for the extra two months but cancel my line rental and simply pay the remainder of broadband and phone usage. To which I am told that by moving house I have extended my contract length - at no point during my calls with BT was I made aware of this. When I asked why the answer i received was because a new phoneline was installed at the property. There was an existing phoneline at the property, which was BT and again no one at BT ever suggested otherwise.
    I am happy to pay the two months worth of internet useage etc £27pcm until my contract is up but what I don't understand is why and how they have extended my contract without sending me revised agreements or even discussing this with me.
    I am more than happy to compramise or at least speak to someone with the authority to compramise with me. I'm astounded by how difficult this is especially as BT own the majority if not the entire intrastructure of the area if not the UK.
    My issue is that when we move into our new address (date unknown) we would've continued to use BT and probably extended the contract to BT TV too, however it seems that BT don't seem to worry about brand loyalty or future earnings.

    UPDATE,
    After numerous calls with BT to actually descipher when my 'contractual obligations' terminate with them I have been given several dates. its seems that no one is actually sure when my contract ends with them!?
    I spoke with customer care this afternoon 1:30ish and I had a very helpful woman deal with me. She was incredibly paitient and when I asked her at what point I had been made aware of my contract extension she couldn't tell me. The only corrispondance I had recieved was an email saying that my service was working...
    She also agreed that it sounded odd that I would cancel a 18month contract and take another one out for no gain in performance or benefit.
    Looking around online it seems that this is common with BT and there are several cases whereby their terms and conditions do not hold up.
    I really wish what few moderators there are on this site (i'm really surprised that BT don't dedicate more people to this place) will be able to assist me some how.
    Otherwise I'm waiting on Lindsey Jones (sp) to call me...
    my issue with all of this is that at no point has anyone told me explicitly that by altering any service with BT i therefore extend my contract length with them.
    It is all very well citing 'terms and conditions' BUT something as serious and costly as extending contract lengths should not be hidden away. the company has a duty of care to inform the customer that above all else.
    I have asked for a copy of recordings to be sent to me under the freedom of information act, however I was promised an email with the correct form today - so far nothing has turned up...

    I updated Pages two months ago to the latest version.  BUT, my MAIL program will not allow me to send documents I attach that are genereated witht eh update Pages.  And, when I save a doc to desktop generated in Pages, it will not opena, a box pops up and tells me the it wil not open until I have upgraded to the new PAges, WHICH I HAVE ALREADY DONE!!!  What is UP with this, can anyone please help me?  Would GREATLY appreciate it.

    travel! Regarding your iPhone 5, the phone is unlocked for international usage.
    Just need an active local SIM card that is compatible with your iPhone. Your local provider
    may need to configure some settings under Cellular, but it should pick up signal. Just in
    case, make sure that Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Voice & Data are
    active.
