Without KeyFigure in report

Hi Experts,
I've a few characteristics in rows and one KeyFigure in Column. Users don't want this single KeyFigure. As per my knowledge we need to have atleast one KeyFigure. Is there any workaround to remove this one KeyFigure also?

Keep the Key figure in columns right click on that and in key figure properties just go hide option
but when checks the report it shows warning so it is not a problem.
the report will be fien with ur characterstics alone.

Hi folks ,
i have some questions.
Can I create a XML Publisher Report for the EBS without a Standard Oracle Report in EBS.
So that I can build up the files with the Desktop Publisher, create Data Definition / Template with Upload / Create the executable und concurrent and than only start the new program in EBS ?
I have the situation that I can start my program with the template in the background but ít is searching for the report on the file system.

can i do it only with the xml Publisher , because when i tried it in the past and get all the staff like Template / DD / CP up and running and started the CR i get an error from the system that he is missing a report directly in the file system... so he searched for the report himself on system like a standard 6i Report. But the template and the dd is stored in the db. So my question again, can I use the XML Puplisher without a Standard Report or can i use a dummy file only for checking and after that he use my template / dd.

Print data without creating a report

Hello,
I am using Oracle and Forms 10g. I have a table in tabular view with 10 records. I want to print those 10 records without creating a report. I have used the print button on the smartbar but it prints the entire form.
Is there a way I can print only the data in the datablock without creating a report?

Thank you very. A report is the solution to my problem. I was looking for something easier to implement but I see that there is not such a solution. I was hopping for example that you can press the print button, and get the data that are displayed in the data block. Your solutions work fine but are not easier to implement compared to the report solution.

BPS Manual Planning - without Keyfigures?

Hi all!
I have a question for BPS-Layouts... It is Possible configurate a layout without a Keyfigure?.
My problem is that my customer want to inform some relations between characteristic (only characteristic) using BPS tool and i don't know the way to do a Layout without a Keyfigure or if it is posibble...

I have developed a tabular report and the layout (lines, rectangles... etc as customer wants) ....
Now , i want to alter only the report style.... that is to change it to group left....
Is it possible... to select the group fields and the fields displayed in the report without redeveloping the report UI (lines , rectangles... e.t.c).
I have tried the report wizard... but the layout destroyed... and have to do the UI from the beginning.....
NOTE : I use Dev10g

Hi Sim,
Group Left or Group Above means that you are grouping for 1 or more fields.
In the Data model, you will have to create a new group and drag the group fields to this new group.
In the Layout, you will need to add a new repeating frame below all the other repeating frame, frames, etc. ie. create a repeating frame over existing objects. You may need to move all existing objects down and to the right so that there is enough room to create a new repeating frame over these objects. With the repeating frame selected, from the Arrange Menu, select Send to back (F6) or Move Backwards (F8) several times so that the new repeating frame is below all the objects from the tabular layout.
Also, fix up the source property for the repeating frame. Create a new field(s) inside this new repeating frame for your group left field(s).

Firefox crashes every night without a crash report (Since last 3-6 months) Currently using version 23.0.1, Fresh Install, Fresh Profile, No Addons

Every night Firefox crashes without any crash report.
All I get is the Windows dialog that says "Firefox has stopped working" "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." "Close the program". (If I can upload the screenshot I will).
The websites I was on are intranet only sites, require NO Flash or Java. Two tabs only. The same sites were not crashing in much older versions, appx 6+ months ago.
The only criteria for crashes seems to be the uptime of Firefox. The longer I leave it, the greater the chances of this crash. I have never seen it crash in front of my eyes, always (90%) would have crashed when I unlock the PC in the morning. I leave it running and locked the whole night.
Just a couple of days ago I decided to do a complete clean install of Firefox, i.e.:
Uninstall, Delete Program Files, Delete Profile folder. Reinstall, import bookmarks. That's it.
Hardware Acceleration has been disabled.
Provide Telemetry has been enabled.
Crash Reporter is enabled, but doesn't kick in. about:crashes is empty. (Even before re-install there were no recent crashes recorded there).

Whenever I try to open photoshop CC, it crashes 1 sekund after, without an error report. It is a fresh install from Adobe Creative Cloud. Uninstalled/Reinstalled. Signed out and in again to CC. Did the latest updates. Uninstalled plugins. Didn't help.

You can use formula variable to populate numbers. Again you can use virtual key figures if you want to populate values on fly. But what exactly is the requirement?

By MIX values, do you mean you are getting a * in the resultant row, and when you drill down by a certain characteristic you get multiple values of different units ? Please do give more details so that the forum can help you better.

RFx sourced without Templates Used Report

Though we have created several RFx's without templates, the report runs empty with the selection criteria, is this a bug?
The report we are talking about is the
Documents Sourced without Templates
For a selected time period and breakdown (such as yearly, quarterly, monthly), this report shows the number of sourcing documents and chart including Projects, RFxs, Auctions, and Agreements that were created without using a best practices' template document.

Uni on Bex-Query: filter on Structure - Without Keyfigures as column: error

I have a 'Without Key Figure structure' as a column called Version in which (amoung others) the values 'Actual' and 'Last Year' .
Thus
Version
- Actual
- Last Year
Now i want to create a filter in my universe which pre-selects Actual.
When I use the tool for that this is my standard definition of the filter:

</CONDITION>
</FILTER>
However it results in error: 'A database error occured. The database error text is: (CS) "Error on BindCol". (WIS 10901)'
Meaning(i guess) that somehow i'm not getting the correct selection-command to the database,
When i use the version-dimension itself in the reports as part of the query filter it works fine and LOV displays both versions for selection.
We are using XI3.1 fp3.1; BW 701-sp5 on oracle 11
I've look through the forum, but couldnt find an answer.
If there is point me into that direction and i'll close this one
Any other information on how filters etc should be specified in an Universe on a BW query is also greatly appreciated.

Need to print an SSRS report in a web application to a designated printer without displaying in report viewer

In an asp.net webforms app, I need to be able to print SSRS reports directly to designated printers without displaying them in the report viewer. This needs to occur when I click on a button on the page, and I can use either local or server
side reports. There are 4 different reports, and one needs to be directed to a different printer from the other 3. One of them also has very rigid formatting requirements, so the formatting cannot be altered by the print method. I have
researched this for hours, but all the solutions I have found for doing this are for windows apps, not web apps. Can anybody help?

I am taking records all from the table EKBE, but I dont know how to classify these records.
Is it based on fields(table EKBE) vgabe & vgabe?

I do not understand. There is only one page that end user actually see. Another page is just holding report SQL.

Why dont you use WAD and then switch off these properties in Webitem paging properties.
i think that would give you more flexibility with paging,scrolling but with some extra effort of creating a WAD
