WLAN AutoConfig Service crashes 3 or 4 times after you first login after rebooting?
Hi,
My lenovo came with windows vista - I upgraded to 7 when I got a chance. I have W7 Professional. I have all the Lenovo drivers installed except access connections. I don't like the tool. Anyways, Windows manages my wireless adapter. I have the weirdest issue -- right after I login after rebooting, the service "WLAN AutoConfig" crashes 3 or 4 times in sucession any time something tries to access the net. If you restart it enough times, it eventually stays up and never crashes again until you reboot. Also, the fancy aeropeek stuff crashes too. The task bar becomes non-transparent. That eventually recovers as well.
I have another t61 thru my work running w7 and it doesn't have this issue. The difference between the two of them is mainly that it has the intel based wifi card instead of the atheros based one.
In the event log, I see:
The Windows Audio Endpoint Builder service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 120000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
The HomeGroup Listener service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

The WLAN AutoConfig service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
then I see this later after a bunch of them have restarted

The Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 300000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
Has anybody encountered this? If so, did you find a fix?
Also, I noticed this thread on Microsoft's site -- should I try disabling ipv6?
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7network/thread/c9605d54-7d4d-4e8c-83ae-4d3d287df2...
I don't use it anyways.

hi there:
I've experienced several sql server service crashes yesterday, service was brought up after a few secs as we have an autostart feature.
Today, I'd like to dig more into the errors and on the event viewer -> Application, I saw errors below
"Faulting application sqlservr.exe, version 2009.100.4302.0, time stamp 0x52f5d194, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18538, time stamp 0x4cb73957, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x00000000000a7857, process id 0x15ec, application
start time 0x01cfd7e72b2997d3.
People suggested to check dump file inside C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.SQL2008R2\MSSQL\Log
However, the lastest .mdmp file was on April 11, 2014. Do I need to turn on some settings on sql server in order to have this dump file?
Thanks
Hui

Database Billing_Snap has more than 1000 virtual log files which is excessive. Too many virtual log files can cause long startup and backup times. Consider shrinking the log and using a different growth increment to reduce the number of virtual log files.

Why does yosemite crash after you enter login?
I've recently purchased my Macbook Pro 13' about a year ago. And the recent upgrade to yosemite was flawless.
But a few week ago, my computer started freaking out. When I would log into my computer with the correct credentials, it would shut down completely. And, this would happen everytime I log in. I'm not very tech savy, but I did a bit of snooping and believe that my computer has lost the connection to an "authentication server". I'd rather not send my computer for any kind of foreign fix, if i could handle it myself and save the expense.
Things I've tried:
1) Repairing the disk. After a decent verification, it asked that I repair the disk. The repair couldn't be completed and that was the end of that. I don't know how to proceed from that approach.
2) Reinstalling the OS X from the recovery screen. I'd get as far as the log-in screen from my apple account. After that, a message would appear saying "A message occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again". Yet again, the same thing happens. Repeatedly.
3)Booting in safe mode. The "hold down the shift-key" thing has proven itself as not worthy and has failed me on every attempt. As well as writing anything into the terminal (I can't figure out why sudo, -s isn't working or can't be found.)
If anyone has advice or experience with this problem please reply. This is very troubling to me and I want to get to the bottom of this and finally have my "A-HA!" moment. It's likely that the startup drive, or some other hardware component, is failing. Back up all data immediately, then make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. Do this before the warranty expires.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance. -
Welcome Back Message when B2C customer logs in for after the first login
Hi All,
We are implementing B2C Webshop. When an existing user logs in , we want the system to generate a customised message say " Welcome back...." how do we do this?
Pointers to this would be helpful.
Regards
Sanjib paulThe "amazon" dot com and the "ebay" dot coms and all the others do this with the help of client-side cookies only. In your start URL for the B2C, the initial action must read this new cookie, and with the information persisted in the cookie - like the email address (which is the userid for B2C), identify the customer from the existing consumers (Business partner - customer master) and get the customer name etc to welcome the customer.
1. Design a cookie that will stay in the client even after the session - with a long life time -- forever..
2. Add a custom action to read the cookie, read the key information in the cookie, such as the email address that is used to register by the consumer.
3. Use this id to check if the consumer is already registered consumer by simply checking the customer master for this consumer.
4. You can use the existing function module to to the above and get the key information (name).
4. Add this action in the init.do - action chain, and before showing your starting page of B2C. At the end of the action, persist the name in the request context.
5. So, at the end, in the JSP, you can check for this request context variable and say "Welcome (back) Sanjib Paul..." and in small font you add " If you are not Sanjib Paul click here to login / register".... that is what the Amazon and Ebay etc do.. -
Start systemd --user once after first login, not per session?
Hey guys,
So I've been toying around with using systemd to manage user daemons and some oneshot processes, it seems like it could be really nice
Here's what I'm thinking I would like to do:
I would have two user targets, `console.target` and `graphical.target`.
The console target will start things like pulseaudio, ssh-agent (envoy), transmission, stuff like that.
The graphical target will start xorg and then other things like the WM, set the wallpaper.. you get the idea. Obviously the graphical target will want the console target.
Now, the part I wanted to get some feedback on is this: I would like a systemd --user instance to only be started once after my first login, not once per session.
So for example, I login from vt1 and it brings systemd --user up to the graphical.target. Then if I later SSH in from somewhere, it won't start a new systemd --user session (Ie, won't start pulse-audio, transmission-daemon, etc).
However, if I haven't logged into my machine yet and I SSH in, it will start up systemd --user and will start the console.target. If I then later login via vt1 it will see that there's already a systemd --user session started and start the graphical.target
Does this make sense? Is it a bad idea? You could make a column in the database, and when the
information is set (emailed) make the value to be 0, then when they
first register use a IF recodset("column_name") = 0 Then
reponse.redirect("filloutpage.asp") end if, then when they fill out
the info have a hidden form field thats updates the value to 1. on
the login page after the first if make another IF
recordset("column_name") = 1 Then response.redirect("index.asp")
end if.
i have forms that have three different redirect based on user
input, and you could do the same thing you could add the one for
the first time to dw made code, here is an example, you could
change the request.form to a recordset value and it will work.
If Request.Form("select") = "Self" Then
MM_editRedirectUrl = "FridaySchedule.asp"
Response.Redirect(MM_editRedirectUrl)
End IF
If Session("MM_AdminEdit") = "True" Then
MM_editRedirectUrl = "FridayScheduleAdmin.asp"
Response.Redirect(MM_editRedirectUrl)
End IF
MM_editRedirectUrl = "FridayScheduleDept.asp"
If (Request.QueryString <> "") Then
If (InStr(1, MM_editRedirectUrl, "?", vbTextCompare) = 0)
Then
MM_editRedirectUrl = MM_editRedirectUrl & "?" &
Request.QueryString
Else
MM_editRedirectUrl = MM_editRedirectUrl & "&" &
Request.QueryString
End If
End If
Response.Redirect(MM_editRedirectUrl) -

In node2 we installed all available updates and hotfixes.Hi Azamat Hackimov,
Regarding to error messages, it seems that the
ntdsai.dll file caused the issue. Based on current situation, please use
sfc /scannow command to scan protected system files and check if find error and repair. Meanwhile, you can also navigate to the location of this DLL file and confirm details.
In addition, Windows Server 2012 R2 has reboot unexpectedly. Please check if you get some dump file and then analysis it. It may help us to find the root reason. Please refer
to the following KB.

Solaris 10, amd64, JVM crash at short time after startup
Hi All,
I have an application which allocate 10G of memory for his Heap, run on 4 dual core amd64 CPUs, 16G RAM machine and crash in 98% of the cases at short time after startup. This is a customer machine.
I have a similar machine for tests with only 2 dual core amd64 CPU and 12G RAM and I don't experience any crashes running application with similar configuration, similar version of JDK and similar input data.
I have tried with different GC algorithms, but we obtain crashes sonner or later. I rare cases when application manage to start seems that CMS offer the greatest performance.
There is a bug in JVM? Knows anybody an workaround for this?

I created a small test which somehow emulate the real application and I obtain the same results: on test machine run without any issues on live machine it crashes all the time.
What can be the cause?

}Edited by: blue67 on Dec 10, 2007 12:57 AMI've experienced the same crash problem for my application in a Sun Fire x4600 M2..
My application which allocates 50G of memory for his Heap, runs on 8 quad core amd64 CPUs, 64G RAM machine and crash in 98% of the cases at short time after startup.
If I run my application on a different machine, for example a Sun Fire 280R with 2 CPUs UltraSPARC-III+ 1.2Ghz 8MB, there are no crashes.
I think the problem is related to the AMD 64 bits CPU architecture.
I filed a bug to the Sun Bug DB with ID 1415527, but it hasn't been published yet.
I cannot understand why, since it seems to be a problem common also to other users.
Here's part of my last hs_err_pidXXX.log file:

Why is my system services crashing every time I want to change my desktop background??
I want to change my desktop background and every time I try my system services crashs. I tryed to changed it for 5 times and did't work, I restarted and shut down my computer and nothing happens. Please if someone knows about it let me know, I am a brain new apple's user and I dont know what its going on.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Try deleting the Desktop settings file. Open a Finder window, select the Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type:
~/Library/Preferences
Then, delete "com.apple.desktop.plist" and "com.apple.systempreferences.plist", and restart. Finally, open System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver, and change the desktop wallpaper -
Firefox crashes when I close an e mail on AOL also it crashed once after printing some pages from my banking statement. Any ideas. I restarted a few times without any change to the crashing problem. What do you suggest.
I am using Mozilla Beta 4. I volunteered to try it out. It's lightning fast. I really love using it. I see there is a new version of Firefox should I download it??I HAVE NOW SOLVED THE PROBLEM BY RUNNING WINDOWS REGISTRY REPAIR TOOL WHICH HAS OBVIOUSLY REPAIRED CORRUPT REGISTRY FILES.

I have sent a crash report each time with my hotmail address. That should include the specifics you are looking for. I am sending this email from personal laptop so I do not have those specifics at this time.
Using ccleaner and Macafee I have run scans and can detect no virus or malware.See this -

Illustrator CC 2014 crashes all the time after installing Yosemite 10.10 - why?
Hi there,
as said above my IA crashes all the time.
I am working with Creative Cloud and latest OSX version (Yosemite 10.10). A few days ago I chatted with a team member of Adobe but all recommended was to install a complete new Admin on my MacBook Pro. That would take me almost two days to install and configure all my stuff from the scratch.
Illustrator crashes when ...
I open a ai-file from InDesign to edit it. The splash screen loads but then this appears
It's german, but you all know what it says: "Unexpected failure - ignore / try again / send to apple" If you click on "Send to apple" it loks like this:
I sent it a thousand times to Apple, but haven't heard anything yet.
I open IA regular from the dock
splash screen appears
everything's fine till you click anything (e.g. CMD+N)
then it crashes immediately
What I already did
reinstall IA
reinstall complete suite
cleaned all folders belonging to Adobe
start in safe mode
Thanks for reading all this stuff.
Hopefully anyone has an idea what I can do.
Wisdom of the crowd - here we go.
Best,
JaninaDear adobe & community,
only a few weeks later - it crashes again...
Yosemite 10.10.2
AI latest version
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13", 2013)
I read all support tickets. I checked if there is a drivers for my Wacom (nope). I installed a new admin (AI crashes as well). I updated Java again (no help)
I have no idea what to do.
This is what happening:
- I click on the AI icon
- AI opens with the welcome screen
- Yosemite 10.10.2 / AI newest version (Creative Cloud)
- whatever I click there it crashes and comes up with the following error message (sorry in advance for all the code)
