Dear MY WIFI was connecting earlier, but now it is not connecting. Though WIF network is identified. When selected and given passowrd it not able to connect.model K50T5android ver 5.0BUILD VER = vibeui_v2.5_1512_5.495.1_ST_K50-T5. Need genuine and urgent solution. Regards

Are you trying to connect to a 2.4GHz or a 5GHz network?
What encryption is your router set to use : AES,TKIP/AES,..?
Have you tried to unplug the router from the power source for 2-3 minutes->Plug it back in-> Wait until it establishes an Internet connection-> Try to recreate the phone connection.

I have an iPhone 4 and am in Nepal. My phone was previously able to connect to wifi, but now is unable. I have an iPad and that is able to connect just fine. This problem is with every wifi hotspot I have tried so it is the phone not the modem.

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

I have a 3G Ipod, for the longest time I have not been able to connect to the apple server. I am able to connect to wifi, grouse web pages however canot conncet to iTunes. I have rebooted, any every other thing I can think off.

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Able to connect to wifi but not internet.

I am able to connect to the wifi at work with my 3GS but I can't connect to the internet. There are SOME at work who are having the same problem (not all). My phone was able to browse yesterday and I've made no changes. I've tried resetting the Network settings and nothing. Password hasn't changed since yesterday.

Stephen: The problem might be similar in your referred post, but it is not the same.
I have a (more) similar problem, being that I CAN connect to my Airport Express (AE) via wifi, at least that is what the menubar and the "network settings" indicate, however while the phone indicates that I'm connected none of the phone's applications can access internet.
The app "Remote" can't find my MacBook Pro either. And that is most surely connected because I'm writing this post on the MBP connected to internet via the very same AE.
However, when I take my iPhone and MBP to my parents place (they don't have apple gear, but an old "Level One" Wi-Fi router), both internet and "Remote" works perfect.
I had no such problems before upgrading my 3GS to iOS4. Anyone?

I'm sorry, but what I requested was that you provide her all of the steps you conduct to attempt any connection, and all of the specific results from each step. For instance, first you go to Manage Connections, then what happens at that point? And what's the next step you take, and it's result? Step by step please, so that we can understand exactly what you are doing, and please include complete error message text if any.

Not being able to connect to Wifi Iphone5 after IOS 8.3

After updating to IOS and especially IOS8.3 my IPhone 5 is not able to connect to a Wifi network or is constantly asking for a password even though the correct password is entered. How to solve this problem?

I just upgraded my iPad mini to the new retina display. Until today I was able yo connect to my home Wifi. Now suddenly I am not able yo connect to Wifi. What should I do.

I'm able to connect via wifi but not via ethernet

I have a iMac, Mac OS X v10.7.5, and recently had a problem connecting to internet. I can connect via wifi, but when I try connecting via ethernet it's not working. When I go to the preferences > network, it shows "green" / connected for ethernet but when I open up Safari or Firefox, it doesn't show a connection to the internet.

System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

Updated my 4s to new IOS 5.1.1 software and ever since i have not been able to connect to wifi

I updated my iphone 4s to the latest IOS software, which is 5.1.1. Immediately after doing so i could no longer connect to me wifi!
I searched this issue online and found that many other people experienced the same problem due to the new software. I have no idea how to fix this problem. I am also worried that this problem will not be fixed until Apply releases a new software! Does anyone know when this will be? Also, if i take this issue directly to apple what is the likelihood that i will get a new phone without this issue?

Some wifi routers seem to really have a problem with iOS 5.1.1 (and some with Apple stuff in general).
Try a soft reset (holding the home button and standby button simultaneously until the power off slider appears, then keep holding until the apple appears. Let go and let it reboot)
If you are connecting but aren't getting any actual data or a ridiculously slow trickle of data, try switching your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
If it was connecting to wifi before you updated your iOS but now isn't, it is most likely not a hardware failure.

A few days ago I had been able to connect to my home Wifi and now I can't get onto the net. Why and what can I do to get my Wifi back on line?

First, make sure wifi is enabled in settings, and make sure you are not in airplane mode. If the wifi is enabled and you are not in airane mode, Check another wifi enabled device and see if the network shows up there. If it doesn't, it may be a problem with your router. If you can successfully connect to the network on another device, try inputting the name of the network manually by doing this. 1. Go to Settings. 2. Tap on the wifi tab. 3. Tap on "Other...." 4. Input the name of your network and the type of security your network has. (If your network is not protected, just choose "None") 5. Tap "Done". If the iPad can't find the network, I would look more into your router settings. And, if all else fails, try contacting Apple Support.

Able to connect to wifi in IOS6

I Followed the steps below:
1: Go to settings - General
2. Select Mobile Data
3. Turned off Mobile Data and Enable 3G
4. Turned on Mobile Data
Joined the wifi network and I am able to use the wifi now. (Wifi now working with Enable 3G on)
Note: When the phone is locked sometimes phone goes back to 3G, but unlocking the phone immediately swithches to Wifi.

If you are having the issue where it takes you to a login page, goto Settings > WiFi and tap on the blue button to the right of your network name. There'll probably be an option to auto-join and you'll want to toggle that. If it's off, turn it on then back off. If it's on, toggle it off. If prompted to login again, just hit Cancel in the upper-right. Now goto Safari app and you should be prompted to connect to your network at which time it should work. It did for me at least and a friend of mine.

HP C4780 - not able to connect to wifi

My printer (HP C4780) doesn't seem to try to connect to anything while running configuration software. I tried to follow the procedure of restarting it (removing power cords waiting - I gave it whole night off).
I have full details of my wifi network because I configured it by myself, it's standard WPA wifi, I tried to chaning channel to 11 to help software to find the printer but none of this worked.
I downloaded the newest drivers from HP site for Mac and PC ( I have access to both , tried on both same result ).
Printer is able to print if I configure it to use USB only (I wanted it to by wifi but it never worked), but after uninstaling everything and trying to install again with wifi it asks to connect to USB at some point - so I did it, it finds the printer without problems and then it goes to network setup wizard and it doesn't find any networks - I put my SSID manually and when I hit next it says the printer must be connected to USB (it's connected I even tried to take a break and restart it at this point ).
Also the screen on printer always shows HP logo and progress bar that slides to infinity - I left it for 3 hours and still like this. No amount of restarts helps. But if you connect it to USB system can see the printer. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to work, the only time it was different was when I first turn it on and when through the setup procedure (setting language, cartridges and so on).
Let me know what to do - seriously restarts won't do...

Would you be kind enough to help our effort here in HP to understand this failure? We have seen a rash of C47XX printers lock up on network installs with the HP logo on the front panel. We have not yet found a solution to the problem.
It would help us immensely if you could let me know the serial number and firmware revision of your printer. Both of these will be on a Network Config Test that is printed from the front panel of the printer (Setup [Scan] > Network).

Not able to connect to wifi using iPhone 4 with OS5, sees the network but won't connect.

Recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to the OS5 and I keep having sporadic issues with connecting to my home wifi, it sees the network but never connects. I turned of Location Services and Cellular Data for that had worked sometimes, but now it just keeps spining and never connects. I tried to reset network settings, reset my wifi router and reset my phone and nothing, it will connect at my church for example and other places but not at home. I have MAC addressing security set on my router and I verified my iPhone MAC address is authorized. Any other suggestions?

Try restarting your router first, turn it off for a minute then back on. then go to settings on your phone, then wifi, tap on the blue arrow to the right of your wifi 's name, then tap forget this network. Then go to the home screen, Then hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up. Then go back into wifi and try to connect.
