This is due to the bug:-
CSCuh68137
Katana-3.11.22-client excluded state with ACL and 3500TSIM clients.
This is the ACL DDTS CSCuh68137 which is fixed in Rebuild3 (3.2.3).

Hi all,
I get a lot of the following syslog error messages from 3 of my 4 WLCs (two WiSMs).
Error message:
ethoip.c:342 ETHOIP-3-PKT_RECV_ERROR
I searched at cisco.com and I found the information to use the bug toolkit or open a tac case, but I didn't find a bug or any further information related to that problem.
I can not even recognize any differences in the WLC configs - for centralize configuration I use an WCS.
WiSM Software version: 5.0.148.0
WCS Software vesion: 5.0.56.0
Does anyone of you had the same problem?
Thank you for all information!
Best regards
PeterHi dennischolmes,
after your post I checked the mobility group configuration on all four controllers, and indeed, there was a inconsitency in the configuration. The WCS couldn't see the mismatch, because the settings between the WCS and the controllers were the same. As I looked on the controllers web pages i saw, that different mobility group memebers with various mobility group names were configured on every single controller, maybe caused by applying a new controller template, where i changed the mobility group name.
I started from scratch configuring the mobility groups and the syslog error messages were stopping.
Thank you very much! -
Dears,
we have a wireless lan controller 4404 with LDAP authentication ...
first, we are getting this error message on the WLC:
apfMsConnTask_0: Jul 02 13:27:34.180: %APF-3-CHECK_SUPP_RATES_FAILED: apf_utils.c:291 Could not check supported rates. Missing Supported Rate. Length :0. Mobile MAC: 78:e4:00:07:dd:10.
second, our issue is when you open a browser, and after you enter the credentials for the username and password, it keeps redirecting to the virtual IP server "1.1.1.1" and never responds with the requested page or the "authentication succeeded" popup. however, when you open a new tab on the same browser, it connects you to the internet...
please advise any recommended procedures or solutions that can be done to solve this issue.
thanks in advance ...
regards,
Majedhi Scott,
thanks for the reply...
that means its ok that the client keeps redirecting on the VIP set on the WLC, if its the function of the vip as you have said ?
and regarding the error message, it is the same client that is connecting to the webauth !!
please provide me with any ideas to solve this issue if anything came up to your mind
may updating the browser or using another solve this, and will upgrading the WLC to newer version lead us to not seeing this message and get rid of this issue ??

We didn't found any information regarding the message in the 3800/5700 WLC documentation but in other products we've found this:.
# Error Message AUTHMGR-4-UNAUTH_MOVE, MSGDEF_LIMIT_MEDIUM: [chars] MAC address
([enet]) from [chars] to [chars]
Explanation There was an authenticated move on the old IDB. The first [chars] is slow or fast, the second [chars] is the source interface name, the third [chars] is the destination interface name, and [enet] is the MAC address.
Recommended Action No action is required.
Does anyone knows the meaning of these messages on the 5760 WLC? These clients are mounted in warehouse stackers, moving in the wharehouse with speeds between 10 and 40 Km/hour and sometimes we have complains of roaming issues. Are this messages related with roaming issues?
Kind regards,
VascoHi Vasco,
These messages are related to roaming and it's an expected behaviour.
%AUTHMGR-4-UNAUTH_MOVE is expected to occur when a mac address is moved to another interface by reconnecting network devices.
Thanks,

Hello,
Running ISE 1.2.1 Patch 1, we get following error message: "12929 NAS sends RADIUS accounting update messages too frequently" on all NAS Devices (i.e. C-4500s running SPA.03.04.00.SG.151-2.SG.bin).
There was a previous post on this forum (RE: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11894006/ise-12-wlc-5508-nas-sends-radius-accounting-update-messages-too-frequently) that stated that the "aaa accounting update newinfo" command doesn't solve this problem even though bug CSCuh01760 "Misconfigured NAS criteria needs to be changed" is resolved in ISE 1.2.1 as per the release notes.
Could you please advise us on that to do now? Thank you.
Regards.For the WLC side:
1. You are probably hitting this bug CSCug14713
2. You can also change the "Interim Update" located under the SSID > Security AAA Servers
For the Switch side:
1. You might be hitting this bug:CSCuh01760
2. Make sure that you have the following command in your config "aaa accounting update newinfo"

ACS 5.1 Error Message Help
All
Currently running 4 ACS 5.1 servers to load balance our 802.1x requests, but am getting an error message which is a bit unhelpful in terms of details.
The error message is
11051 RADIUS packet contains invalid state attribute
and only seems to occur on one port port on one particular switch....not quite sure what is causing this for this port as all the other ports on the same switch are not having any issues.
The troubleshooting says
Description
The state attribute in the RADIUS packet did not match any active session.
Resolution Steps
Do the the following: Check the network device or AAA Client for hardware problems or known RADIUS compatibility issues ; Check the network that connects the device to ACS for hardware problems.
The network device is set up the sames as at least 50 other switches in ACS.
The switch port is nominally designated as being for a client PC.
Anyone have any ideas what is causing this error.Hi,
I was thinking, maybe somebody found the solution?
In my case it’s happening only on WLC with version 4.2.130.0 (no problem on version 6.0.196.0).

WLCS install error(InstallAnywhere)
Hi. This is a problem that WLCS installs on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
I'm installing Japanese Windows, so it may not cause in English version.
After clicking WLCS_311.exe file, InstallAnywhere starts and extracts files
in exe file.
However, on a certain 2000 Server, InstallAnywhere starts but doesn't
extract files.
Of course, another 2000 Server, I've successfully installed WLCS.
Final output message of InstallAnywhere is Japanese, and its meaning is
following.
LaunchAnywhere Error;
Executable file cannot be run.
(Communicational error 0x0 caused when executing application.)
Please, re-install T-Application.
This is a configurational problem of 2000 Server?
Regards,This is self reply.
Following error message causes if Java doesn't install in machine.
However InstallAnywhere extracts files.(My original problem is that
InstallAnywhere cannot extract files.)
And, this is my mistake, however after installing several softwares
(including JRE), my original problem disappears.
So, there's no environment where the problem causes.
LaunchAnywhere Error;
Executable file cannot be run.
(Communicational error 0x0 caused when executing application.)
Please, re-install T-Application.Thank you. -

Dear All,
I have the below error message in my WLC and all uesrs are not able to access the network for 2 minutes
19620 LWAPP-3-MIC_COUNTER: Received MIC countermeasure, WLAN 1, slot 1
Any idea why such error and conuntermeasure taken by WLCThis is the cisco response to your error. Did you error give a AP?
Error Message   %LWAPP-3-MIC_COUNTER: Received MIC countermeasure, WLAN [dec], slot [dec] AP [chars] client [hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]:[hex]

I am trying to get an AP to associate with a wireless Controller but keep getting this error message (%CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG:Could not resovle CISCO-CAPWAP-CONTRPLLER)
I can ping through to the WLC and the AP.Thanks a lot Loe for the Feedback. The issue was not my configuration but rather the type of Wireless LAN controller I have, the WLC does not support my AP's. I have a Cisco 520 series WLC and got to know they only work with the 500 series AP's. my AP's are 1130 series meaning i have to get another controller or change the APs.
thanks once again.. -
WiSM error message : Message: CPU Receive Multicast Queue is full on Controller
Hi,
I heve several WiSM modules, the version is 7.0.220.0. Each of WiSM receive the following error message : CPU Receive Multicast Queue is full on Controller. I searched the bug toolkit, some old version of WLC hit this bug, but not affect our version.. Please help to mention me how to debug this error.
Best Regards,Multicast Queue Depth
The multicast queue depth is 512 packets on all controller platforms. However, the following message might appear on 2106 controllers: “Rx Multicast Queue is full on Controller.” This message does not appear on 4400 series controllers because the 4400 NPU filters ARP packets while all forwarding (multicast or otherwise) and multicast replication are done in the software on the 2106.
This message appears when too many multicast messages are sent to the CPU. In controller software releases prior to 5.1, multicast, CDP, and ARP packets share the same queue. However, in software releases 5.1 and later, these packets are separated into different queues. There are currently no controller commands that can be entered to determine if the multicast receive queue is full. When the queue is full, some packets are randomly discarded.
Do you have a lot of clients using multicast ?

Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs
Hello,
I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!you have to update Vista go to this site and up-date http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
