WLC AireOS 8.0 - how to set font-color for integrated webauth/weblogin?

Hello,
up to AireOS 7.6 I was able to set the font-color of the internal webauth/weblogin page using html-codes, for example like this:
Headline: Welcome to our <font color="red">guest</font>-network!
Message: You need a valid <font color="blue">user</font> to login.
Now with AireOS 8.0 this doesn't work anymore. When I try to set a headline or message with font-tags I get "Error while setting headline." (or "...message.") when I hit apply. I have to remove the font-tag to save the weblogin page.

Since your using code to change the default internal portal page look, its better for you just to create a custom webauth and upload that to the WLC. That is how I do my implementations as its easier for me to create a new page than trying to mess around with the internal page. As you can see, Cisco can change the way things work in every version. It might just be the fact that they no longer are allowing html code to be inserted in the default webauth/passthrough page.

Set font color for the JTextField

I'm using JTextField in my project. However, can anybody teach me how to set the font color for the font in the JTextField to other color. The default font color is black. Any idea about this?

Sometime ago I set in Mail the default font to Arial, and the default font Size to 18, so when I write a new email these are my default font and size. But I could not set the font Color. How do I do this?

Sounds like you have the Preferences toolbar closed on another selection.
Go to Mail > Preferences and at the top right of the Preferences window is a clear pill shaped button.
Selecting this button opens/closes the complete Preferences toolbar.

Setting Font/Color for ProgressMonitor

Hi All,
I am using ProgressMonitor something like this.
pbar.setNote("Loading:"+f[index].getName()+ " " +"with Operation of " + counter + "% complete");Where pbar is an instance of ProgressMonitor.Now we can see that setNote method inside ProgressMonitor String as an argument.I want to set the font and foreground color for the text inside.Any idea how to do that??

If the progress bar had a method to set a label, instead of just set text, then you could set that label with any font and colors that you wanted...
If you really needed to set the font color, you would need to call setUI on the progress bar, and provide you own ProgressBarUI class.
You could start with one of the UI classes provided, like BasicProgressBarUI and extend it and modify it as you wish.
But this is really advanced...

How to set background color for a JFrame

i am new to swing programming. I have created a JFrame called framehelp and i placed some labels in the frame.
I have set the background color as yellow for the frame ie by setBackground(new java.awt.Color(255, 255, 204));
But after compiling the program i am still getting the background color of frame as gray.
How can i change the background color of frame as lightish yellow.

I would like to change item text background color for each item on selectManyCheckbox (different for each item).
It is only 5 items so that could be static reference or select.
I know only how to change background for all items

I use JDev 11.1.1.6. I dont write it in previously post because I think that is a more css then adf problem.
I have 5 selectItem based on simple List<String> {"text1", "text2", "text3", "text4". "text5"}:

In my project i hav a data table. i am using jsf. i want the rows of the data table different colors for even, odd rows. can i do it just setting the row class property ? or there should be there some other way? please help.

How to set the color for road map steps

hi all,
my requirement is like ,whenever i select my step in a roadmap it has to be set in yellow color and others has to be in default color.

Its Very Simple......
Create an action for the road map.
for example..... if you have three step in it....
by default the first step will be in active only...
ie., Yellow colour
if you click the second step and it should be active means.... if you have to create a event....in the property of the Roadmap
Create the on action select event....
in that event.....
try to use this code.... based on your scenario.....
set context data
    DATA: road_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,
          road_data TYPE if_componentcontroller=>element_roadmap.
    road_node = wd_context->get_child_node( 'ROADMAP' ).
    road_data-step = step.
    IF step = 'CHOOSE'.
      road_data-prev_enabled = abap_false.
    ELSE.
      road_data-prev_enabled = abap_true.
    ENDIF.
    IF step = 'END'.
      road_data-next_enabled = abap_false.

How to set Border Color for Screens in WebDynpro?

I was actually working on an application involving many screen Layouts.
After the designing of these Screens i have observed that on all the four borders of the screen are left with white as the background.So i just wanted to know whether we can select the choice of Border of the screen.

How to set background color for textarea

Hi all,
I have created an application in Apex 3.2.
I am now able to disable the text fields, select lists and textarea.
Ex:

How to set highlight color for JTabbedPane????

Hi,
In JTabbedPane class There are methods
setbackGround(...) setForeGround(..) methods but
what is the way to tell that, when a perticular Tab of a tabbedPane
is selected it should be highlight with this color..
Now every thing is defaulting to grey???

you're talking about the tab/s of JTabbedPane?
if so, put this line prior to creation of the JTabbedPane (will affect all JTabbedPanes)
UIManager.put("TabbedPane.selected",new javax.swing.plaf.ColorUIResource(Color.YELLOW));

Setting Font Color and Bold Property in ALV Grid

I have a requirement to set the font in particular ALV Cells in red color.
Also this font (text) has to be set to Bold.
I know how to set cell coloring in ALV Grid, but have no idea regarding how to set font color.
Could please give me an idea/code segment/suggestion.

I managed to find how to set a color for Jtree nodes but the problem is that with my method all the nodes will b the same color whereas i'm looking to have nodes of different color depending on the situation.
the method for setting all Jtree nodes the same color(other than black):

You need to implement TreeCellRenderer interface

                                              boolean hasFocus)You can know which node is rendering by check value argument. Please read DefaultTreeCellRenderer's code.

Hw do i set background color for ComboBox?

If anyone knows how to set background color for disabeld (setEnabled(false)) of ComboBox in Windows Look and Feel. It will help me a lot.
