I have gotten it to work by replacing the sp9 weblogic-tags-510.jar with
the sp8 weblogic-tags-510.jar. We haven't experienced any problems with
our app after using this workaround. However, we haven't completely
tested it either.

  • Wls 11g jaas module not working

    Hi,
    I am successfully using a standard JAAS module to authorize and authenticate users on an HPUX – WebLogic 9.2 environment. However when we port this exact JAAS module to a LINUX – WebLogic 11g environment, the JAAS module times-out after 25 minutes at WebLogic managed server startup and eventually fails.
    We want to know if anything has changed from a JAAS perspective when comparing WebLogic 9.2 versus 11g? We have been unable to get JAAS authentication working. We tried re-creating the jar file but have now run out of options. They have over 16 different Linux servers that all have the same problem. All time out once the JAAS module has been implemented.
    We are primarily interested in knowing if there have been any significant changes to the JAAS functionality between WLS 9.2 and 11g versions. They have tried recompiling/recreating the JAAS file on our Linux servers but the same result occurs. It simply stalls and then doesn't work after appearing to be hung for 25 minutes at start-up time.
    It is a custom JAAS module that we have implemented. However the very same JAAS module that works for WLS 9.2 does not work for WLS 11g.
    Any suggestions on how we can get this working would be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, the packaging has changed somwhat, when you compiled for 11g didn't u get compilcation exceptions?
    If you didnt, then you might not be using those packages.
    Can u paste the stak trace/ thread dump at the time it was hung?

  • Custom DB authentication to an application from Oracle Portal not working.

    Hi All,
    We have a Portal customized and integrated to LDAP for SSO.
    From the portal, we have a link that takes to another custom application that requires another level of authentication. We have implemented this authentication as custom Database based authentication.
    When user login to the portal and access this link, he will be directed for authentication again. This custom application has been installed on a different OC4J instance while Oracle Portal is running in a different OC4J instance.
    Issue is though user details are being propagated to the custom application page, we are receiving an error saying authentication failed.
    In the OC4J instance specific for this custom application, we have configured jazn.xml to use custom authentication.
    Below is the code:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8' standalone = 'yes'?>
    <!DOCTYPE jazn PUBLIC "JAZN Config" "http://xmlns.oracle.com/ias/dtds/jazn-9_04.dtd">
    <jazn provider="XML" location="./jazn-data.xml" default-realm="jazn.com">
    <property name="role.mapping.dynamic" value="true"/>
    <property name="custom.loginmodule.provider" value="true"/>
    </jazn>
    and in jazn-data.xml, we gave the role mapping.
    But the problem is when the link to the custom application is accessed, it seems like the custom autentication mechanism is not working.
    Can anyone throw light on this?
    Do we need to give the same configuration in the j2ee/home/config directory files also?
    Can we use both LDAP and custom DB authentication with in the same OAS setup. Remember as of now, Portal and custom application are running in different OC4J instances but within the same OAS.
    Any help in this regard will be highely appreciated.
    Thanks,

  • ISE upgrade 1.2: Self-provisioning portal not working

    Hi all,
    I need help with Self-Provisioning portal flow not showing the agent installation page after upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.2 on a couple of 3315. I've configured all the pieces as instructed by BYOD SBA guide at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/solutions/SBA/February2013/Cisco_SBA_SLN_BYOD_InternalCorporateAccessDeploymentGuide-Feb2013.pdf
    Screenshot of page is attached:
    I've checked ise-console.log application log file and found two errors correponding to the first page:
    [portal-http-84431][] SystemConsole -::c0a8a82a000000d7523c70f9::guest:- com.cisco.cpm.provisioning.exception.ProvisioningException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Unable to initialize, java.io.IOException: DerInputStream.getLength(): lengthTag=127, too big.
    [portal-http-84431][] SystemConsole -::c0a8a82a000000d7523c70f9::guest:-         at com.cisco.cpm.provisioning.cert.CertProvisioningFactory.initialize(CertProvisioningFactory.java:333)
    and the second (not working) one:
    [portal-http-84431][] SystemConsole -:xxxxx@xxxxxxx:c0a8a82a000000d7523c70f9::guest:- java.lang.NullPointerException
    [portal-http-84431][] SystemConsole -:xxxxx@xxxxxxx:c0a8a82a000000d7523c70f9::guest:-  at com.cisco.cpm.provisioning.cache.FlowStateCacheManager.getFlowStateCache(FlowStateCacheManager.java:202)
    Looks like something is wrong with a certification file, but I cannot find what is. I've exported and re-installed current server certificates (as instructed by upgrade guide for 1.2) and nothing changed.
    Can somebody please help?
    Thanks,
    L

    Errors When Adding Devices to My Devices Portal
    Employees cannot add a device that is already added if another employee has previously added the device so that it already exists in the Cisco ISE endpoints database.
    If employees are attempting to add a device that supports a native supplicant, recommend that they use that instead. That registration process will overwrite the original registration and switch ownership to the new user.
    If the device is a MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB) device, such as a printer, then you must resolve ownership of the device, and if appropriate, remove the device from the endpoints database so that the new owner can successfully add the device.

  • Portal not working after IP Address Change

    Hi,
    Because of some reasons, IP Address of the unix machine where portal was installed is changed and all of sudden portal is not working. On accessing the portal on new IP, we are getting "Service Unavailable, Cannot process request for dynamic resources". Can anyone please advice on this?
    Regards,
    Chandra

    Hi,
    Have you restarted the portal ?
    This might be needed even if you are using hostnames in the config, since the JVM by default caches DNS lookups for ever. See Controlling DNS caching in the Java Virtual Machine (i.e. J2EE WAS) for more info

  • Oracle Portal not working after upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.0.2.1

    Hi All,
    Previously I had
    9iAS : 1.0.2.0.0
    Portal: 3.0.7.6.2
    OS: Win NT
    and I upgraded to
    9iAS: 1.0.2.1.0
    Portal: 3.0.8 (using scripts)
    Now the scenario is
    I can access: Apache, Servlet(IsItWorking) and JSP samples. But now I can't access Oracle portal (ie http://host:port/pls/portal30/). Even Login Server is coming properly (ie http://host:port/pls/portal30_sso/)
    There was no errors during upgrade scripts. Also I check the portal30 schema for invalid objects. But there were no invalid objects in that schema.
    According to me, all the modules of apache are working only except mod plsql and so i can not access Portal. It gives misconfiguration error from apache. So what can be the problem??
    Any ideas in this.
    Thanks in advance.

    There was an issue reported on this upgrade having to do with multiple entries in the Apache configuration files. Check your .conf files for duplicate entries.

  • 10.1.2.0.2 Portal not working.

    Hi ,
    I have downloaded the 10.1.2.0.2 application server and installed it with Portal/Wireless option . The installation was successful however the portal is not getting launched.
    From the app server home page if we try to launch portal
    "The requsted URL pls/portal was not found on this server" . We tried installing on multiple machines but the same problem was recurring.
    I have tried installing the appserver with BI Forms /Reports option and selected the portal option also but the same error is coming.
    The portal logs doesn't seem to suggest anything conclusive.
    What could be going wrong here , can someone suggest any pointers to get this working.
    Thanks
    Mouli

    Thanks for the suggestions , this got recently solved after we configured the dad entry. The problem was we were associating multiple portal instances to the same infra tier and some configuration was missing ie for the DAD entry . We tried a fresh install and even did a portal 10.1.4 upgrade also .
    Thanks
    Mouli

  • Management Portal not working in Chrome?

    Hey,
    when using Chrome I am having a problem with logging in to the management portal of Azure. This started roughly a week ago. After logging in, the page and layout are loaded but no content is displayed. All I see is the (nicely) animated loading wheel:
    Even after waiting for 5 minutes, nothing else happens. In the developer console there are no errors displayed. In other browsers (IE, FF) everything works fine.
    Has anyone similar problems or can someone help me?

    Hello ReDavid,
    Thanks for posting here!
    Microsoft has confirmed the problem, and indicated that an incompatibility with the Chrome browser is at fault.
    “We have seen a problem with new Azure portal and Chrome browser.
    “This is a known issue with Azure portal and Azure Portal team is working hard to fix this problem. The current workaround is to use IE to solve this problem,”
    You can try resetting your Chrome Browser and see if that works.
    Also refer this article:
    Manage your cookies and site data
    As said by Will Shao Chrome version 36.0.1985.143 should fix this issue.
    Hope that helps!
    Let me know if you have any queries!

  • Captive Portal not working correctly

    I've seen issues with our wireless systems on WebOS devices running the latest software. If I try and use the HP Tablets with a captive portal log on. I can put in my creds to login hit submit, but nothing happens. Reviewing a sniff trace of the transaction I see "you have reached this page because you browser does not support standard http redirection commands"
    My concern is most people are probably hitting the same issue based on what I have read thus far.

    I am also having trouble with a captive portal on my school's (UC Berkeley) wifi network.
    I can get to the login page, and enter my credentials, but after hitting "submit," nothing happens.
    The little blue bar loads, and completes, but the page stays the same.
    Any answers to this?

    What other settings required to access through internet?

    Hi
    We have traced the http request using httplook. We noticed that the Content-length is not being sent for requests which go through http proxy. All other web sites set the content length and hence the keep-alive remains true. In our case we feel that because the content-length is not been sent , the keep-alive is false and hence we get a connection close through the proxy server

  • Apache plugin support for WLS  6.1 is not working for me.

    Hi.
    I'm not clear on what you are trying to accomplish with the alias pointing to the absolute
    path of your WLS applications directory. This is not how the plugin works. As you have it
    set up now the plugin looks for URLs with /weblogic in them and proxies those requests to a
    running instance of WLS.
    For example, the plugin will accept the following URL and forward it to WLS:
    http://host:port/weblogic/index.html
    WLS will respond IF you have a webapp named weblogic. From your example it looks like you
    are trying to proxy to the petstore example. The URL to access the petstore example that
    ships with wls is something like: http://localhost:7003/estore/control/main so if you want
    to proxy by path you may want to proxy when the path contains /estore instead of /weblogic.
    Hope this helps.

  • MBAM 2.5 - SelfService Portal Not Working - Invalid Key ID

    Really odd issue I've run into here guys. Any help is greatly appreciated as this issue is holding my client back from releasing MBAM BitLocker management to his company.
    We've setup a two-server MBAM solution. IIS sites are hosted on a server on the domain and the SQL database on another. Clients are deployed to the pilot group, GPO's are configured and deployed, machines are encrypting, the database is filling with Recovery
    Key ID's and Recovery Keys. The issue we have here is when a user needs to perform a recovery on his/her drive, the SelfService site is never able to issue a Recovery Key. Each time a user enters the 8 characters from the Recovery Key ID, it returns with
    Invalid Key ID.
    However, if you enter the same key into the HelpDesk portal, a key is returned.
    I've checked the database, and the Key ID and the accompanying Recovery Key match. Within the reports for this machine, the user attempting to perform the recovery is listed as a user on the device. This seems to be a pattern for any systems managed with
    BitLocker, so I'm thinking there's a bigger issue. We've went over the SelfService web.config file with a fine-comb and compared it to a working SelfService portal (different domain, different implementation) and have been unable to find anything that stands
    out as being an issue.
    Aside from some kind of obscure configuration, I'm thinking this might be access-related, but I've been unable to prove or disprove this theory. Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appreciated, as I've mentioned, this is preventing my client from
    rolling this implementation out to his company because without giving the ability to users to perform recoveries on their own systems, there's no real benefit to having MBAM to manage BitLocker.
    Michael B Courville

    ok... I found a post:
    I believe this will resolve the issue. I do recall now (i'm at home) that i was using my machine which the user has never logged into but is requesting the password for. I will test this theory tomorrow. good luck!!
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2870853?wa=wsignin1.0
    In MBAM 2.0, the Recovery Key ID is only shown to the user, if the user who is requesting the key has logged on to the machine at least once. Also, in MBAM 2.0, SQL database maintains the list of logon user after MBAM 2.0 agent is installed and always verifies
    if the user has logged in to the machine or not.
    For Example:
    User A logins to Computer A.
    Computer A asks for BitLocker Recovery Key due to some changes done on the machine.
    User A goes to Computer B and logins to Windows.
    Open MBAM 2.0 Self Service Portal, http://mbamserver/selfservice
    Enters the first 8 digits of recovery key id and MBAM 2.0 SSP page will show him the recovery key.
    Let's say if user A never logged in to computer A, then we will not show him the key and will throw the above message.
    Raymond Peng
    Raymond, I realize this. The user(s) that are attempting to get recovery keys are listed as users on the machines. Regardless of that fact, any user(s) assigned to any machine(s) are not able to get a recovery key from the SSP. My client and I are planning
    to dig more into the security aspect of this. It's odd that since I've posted this question, I've seen two or three people show up and now have this issue as well. There must be some commonality here. We're going to make sure that the users are in the DB-ReadOnly
    group and maybe even overshoot the access they need - like giving them Full Admin rights just to see if that fixes the issue.

  • Analyze link generated by Portal not working after SSL Configuration

    Hi,
    We've installed OracleAS Portal 10.1.4 and Oracle Discoverer Version 10.1.2.48.18 on the same machine. We recently configured SSL on OracleAS Portal for SSO server only. Discoverer was not SSO enabled.
    Now after successful SSL configuration we are facing one problem. The Analyze link that is generated by Portal to analyze the worksheet in Single Worksheet Viewer is no longer working. when we click on the analyze link we get the "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" and a message that Page cannot be displayed.
    Please advise...

    Hi Andrew
    It sounds like you need to enable SSO for Discoverer too.

    Any comments?
    I've searched Metalink but have not yet found a working solution.
    /Mikael

    Ok...
    I've since tried to do the following:
    Fresh install of Oracle 8.1.7.1.1 and 9iAS 1.0.2.2 (with patch 3.0.9.8.1) on a w2k laptop with 512 Mb RAM. All done by the book (done this more than 20 times on different machines and platforms).
    Loaded the latest MyCompany demo. No problem besides some problems (bugs) with provider timouts making the demo unusable.
    Then tried to create a intermedia index (done both via portal and manual via sqlplus). No errors!
    Searching the index however does display som odd results if it displays anything.
    What are we doing here? Manufacturing bugs? Downgrading? How does new releases get tested? Do they...
    How can a bug be known for more than a month whitout a fix? Are'nt interMedia a core function in our platform? Mentioned in every presentation regarding Portal...
    We keep bashing Microsoft for the DLL-hell...what are we doing? The same thing but loaded into the database.
    Exhausted from patching and installing...
