If you are having a cluster, make sure all the servers are on the same set
of service packs.

Error at weblogic.servlet.internal.session.SessionData. init
I am using weblogic server 6.1sp2 , weblogic can start sucessful , and can work for
a moment , but after some minutes , error occured:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at weblogic.servlet.internal.session.SessionData.<init>
at weblogic.servlet.internal.session.MemorySessionData.<init>
I have been distressed about this for serval days , need your help much.
thanks.
Since the line numbers are not there in your stack trace and there is very
little info
I am not 100% sure what the problem is. But my guess is that this is the
same
problem as reported in a bug#CR064294. Please ask support for a one off
patch
for this with this CR# as reference. If that doesn't solve the problem let
us know.
The fix for CR064294 will be available with 610 SP3.
Thanks,

please help.Hiya,
Did you manage to fix this problem. I read somwhere is actually a bug in weblogic 610sp2 but 610sp3 has a fix for it. Please confirm. -

Issue of deploying a fusion Web Application with integrated Weblogic server
Hi,
i'm using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 to develop a fusion web application, with a model and ViewController Projects.
When i try to deploy this application with the integrated server, i have any issues.

Business Rules Decision Service Error using SOA Suite with the WebLogic
Hi,
We are working with Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 on WebLogic 9.2. We have some decision services that work properly on Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 with Oracle Application Server. Following http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12524_01/core.1013/e13058/weblogic.htm, we have made necesary changes and deployed bpel process and deployed manually Decision Services EAR Files on Weblogic.
When we invoke decision service from BPEL proccess next error appears, Could anybody help me to knows if this is a product installation/configuration problem or there is a failure on my ear rule file?
Any help would be appreciated. Regards,

Installing Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server
Hi all,
I am trying to install Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server. After following the step-by-step instruction in the "Installing Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server" document, I ran into the following situation: I have a working WebLogic Server with all applications deployed. However the BPELPM application is in Failed state.
When I try to run the application, I get following exception (AdminServer.log):

WLS 10.3 - Self Registration with External LDAP Fails (somewhat)
I have a WLS 10.3.5 instance with WebCenter Spaces.
I've added an OpenLDAP provider to the security realm, set the OpenLDAP provider and the default authenticator to "sufficient", and reordered the providers in the console to list the OpenLDAP provider first. I've also set "virtualize=true" via the enterprise manager interface, and added the <extendedProperty> attributes for "user.create.bases" and "group.create.bases" in the jps-config.xml file
Using the self registration feature in Spaces, I fill in a proposed new user name, and select "check availability". The check returns "available".
I finish the registration, and submit. I receive the following error, and the registration page remains on the screen:
"User not created. Either the user name or the password does not adhere to the registration policy or the identity store is unavailable. Specify the required user credentials or contact your administrator for assistance." NO ERROR in the Spaces logs.
But I look in OpenLDAP, and lo and behold, the user DID get created.
So remember I still haven't left the registration page. Clicking the "check availability" button still returns "available".
Now clicking the submit button throws the following message:
"A user with the name <insert name entered previously in the "failed" registration> already exists. Choose another name."
The following error is logged in the Spaces log:

Problem with the weblogic-maven-plugin
I am in the process of converting from ant to maven, but I am having a problem with the weblogic-maven-plugin. Has anyone used this plugin successfully? Here is the error I am receiving even though I have a dependency on the xbean.jar in my pom, and it is in my local repo.

Servlets have been working for months. Suddenly, I'm getting
this error (see below) as soon as I try to hit a servlet.
The startup process looks normal. I've re-installed WL v 4.0.3
several time, gotten the license in place, so on and so forth,
but cannot get around this problem. "weblogic.properties" file
still reads:
weblogic.httpd.register.file=weblogic.servlet.FileServlet
All my servlets and EJBs have been registered, and db connection and
pool made, as usual. As I said above, everything looks normal until
I try to hit a servlet.

Did you register your servlets after reinstalling. FileServlet is only for handling html pages. It has no role in loading servlets.

Hi guys!
I am having a problem suddenly with weblogic application server on aix box. I am getting error after couple of users login.managed Server is getting shutdown. Here is the description of the error.
<weblogic.health.CoreHealthMonitor> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <BEA-000337> <ExecuteThread: '47' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' has been busy for "717" seconds working on the request "weblogic.rmi.internal.dgc.DGCClientImpl$HeartBeat@53ce690f", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "600" seconds.>
Please suggest something to fix this problem.can you explain how we can check thread dumps in weblogic on unix environment.

Thanks for the response.
We don't have any connection pools defined.
The application we have deployed gets information from the DB all the time. But it makes it's own connection. We connect to an Oracle 9i DB running on a different server. We are running on AIX 5.3 servers.
Thanks again
PaulHi. nevermind about the pool question. If/when you get that sort of message you want to get a thread
dump of the server or find the log where it shows the full stacktrace of that thread. The message
simply says a thread has been busy or hanging longer than the WLS limit (configurable). The thread
could be hung on a lock, waiting for the DBMS, in an infinite loop, os simply not done yet with
some job that is taking more than the stuck-thread-limit. WLS doesn't actually know what the
thread is doing...

The servlet weblogic.servlet.AsyncInitServlet init method failed
I installed WLS 9.2.2 recently with my app being on 8.1.5 for a long time.
I chose to create a new domain instead of upgrading my existing one.
I use the eclipse 3.2.2 with the WL plugin.
When I start the server and login to the console not using eclipse it works fine.
Trying to start the server and login to the console gives a internal server error.
Any idea what could be wrong? I bolded the parts where I have looked into.
Here is the console output:

The only thing I see different is that eclipse has different arguments when calling the jvm at the top.
startWebLogic.cmd:

eclipse:

Eclipse may be calling the cmd I dont know.
