WLSE 2.11 occasionally sends a P1 notification e-mail
For some AP 1200's, WLSE sends a "P1 notification... Device was not
reachable via SNMP" followed by a "OK notification ... Device was
reachable via SNMP" after a few minutes (between 1 and 5 minutes).
Current poll interval setting is 5 minutes and frequency is 1.
There are no issues with the AP (interfaces and line protocol are UP/UP).
Any advise on what could be causing this problem (and any recommended
troubleshooting/solution) is greatly appreciated.

I would try just performing a constant ping to an AP and see if you are dropping any packets...it is possible that at a polling cycle it is timing out and then 5 mins later it replies. Do the same to your WLSE device to make sure its own connections are good. I am assuming your WLSE is on the same subnet as your ap.

How to configure ML Server to send Alert Notifications by mail?
Is it possible to configure Mountain Lion Server to send out Alert notification by e-mail without enabling full Mail services?
I don't want to run the Mail service on the Server. I'm quite happy with my ISP's mail service. Besides, I have a dynamic public IP address, hence no rDNS entry (so I couldn't run Mail if I wanted to). And I don't have the expertise to configure and maintain the Mail service. But I would like to get the Server to send me any important alert notifications by e-mail.
I have access to an authenticated SMTP server I can use to relay the outbound alert notification emails. But I don't know how to coerce the alert service into using it. Is it possible to do so, or does one need the full-blown Mail service to be configured (with both dovecot and postfix running) in order to get Alerts to be e-mailed?

The config for my ISP's SMTP server is correct. I specified the port (:465), and double-checked userid/password. It's the same as used by all our e-mail clients (a half-dozen or so on various Macs, iPhones, iPads, Linux boxes), all of which work fine from my LAN.
As for DNS, it seems OK. (I am indebted to you for the excellent series of articles on servers and networking at http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/1705 )
The changeip command reports:
The names match. There is nothing to change.

However, I should point out that I do not have the DNS service enabled on ML Server. I already have a local DNS running on my gateway router. (it's an instance of the dnsmasq process that is part of Tomato firmware). It has local names defined for all the servers and hosts on my LAN, and provides rDNS for them as well.
However, what I haven't done is enabled the Mail service. You've (slightly) misunderstood the core of my plan. My intent is not simply to secure the local mail server against remote access. I don't want either remote or local users from accessing the mail server. I don't want it listening for POP or IMAP connections from anywhere (on my LAN or remotely). I don't want it receiving inbound mail from anywhere. I don't want it relaying outbound mail for any client on my LAN. All I want the ML Server to be able to do is to send me alerts (by e-mail) when it's in need of attention. Other appliances on my LAN (eg. a NetgearReadyNAS) can send me e-mails when they are unhappy, and I hope I can coerce the ML Server to do the same.
I know I don't have the expertise to operate and maintain my own mail server, and I'm quite happy with the mail service provided by my existing network service provider. Plus, I'm behind a cable modem with a dynamic IP address, so I'm unable to establish my own rDNS record (which I understand is required to handle inbound mail).
It looks like the next step is to turn on the Mail service. But I'm sure it's going to be unhappy since there's no MX record set-up. I was hoping there was a way that ML Server could simply send out its own outbound alerts (using my ISP's SMTP relay) without having the incoming part of the mail service active. But perhaps Apple didn't anticipate that sort of configuration. -

before, i already successful send html email with attachment, but when i send an email without attachment, then the body message will turn into a plain text.
as i check from the email accepted, email with attachment will have a mime type "text/html" but if no attachment then it will be "text/plain"
from the bpel configuration, by default the mime type already set to "text/html; charset=UTF-8", below is the sample configuration in my bpel process

make sure you put the mime type multipart/alternative into the email payload content. by default, when you add attachment, it will generate mime type multipart mixed automatically.
if you don't change it to multipart/alternative, your email will show a attachment, but actually your email doesn't contain any attachment.
and then for the message and mimetype make sure you have that ns10:bodypart, because this email already been set as a multipart email.
when you add attachment, by default it will generate 2 body part, first one is for the body message and the second one is for the attachment. since i only want to use the body message only, then i have to erase the second bodypart
with this workaround, i can send a html email without attachment perfectly.
but i have to take note, when i updating the email process from process design, then the source will be generated again automatically, and the edited one will be replaced.

You will get marked as spam if you attempt to send images as attachments to a large list of recipients and most email clients won't download images to begin with, so make sure your html email makes sense with broken pictures.
CSS support is spotty across email clients, if you use css, make sure it's inline, not embedded in the <head> or externally linked in the <head>. Some email clients strip out the <head> section entirely.
Basically, you need to design your html email as if you haven't moved out of the 90's yet, as far as web design is concerned, in order to get maximum cross client compatibility.
Then, when you're ready, I would suggest using a service like www.icontact.com or www.constantcontact.com if your subscriber list is anywhere over 100 or so recipients. -

I know I can create a task that auto-completes using the Dummy adapter, but is there a way to make it auto complete after a certain amount of time has elapsed? James is onto a potential approach here. However, the only way I know of that could work is to use the Scheduled Start feature. This would require that you compute/project the start date of the auto-complete task before the delivery moment begins.
You would need to do a date calculation and then store the projected date in a hidden field. You could then have your auto-complete task fire on that computed date, using the Scheduled Start feature.

as said earlier this is not possible without configuring alerts.
yeah,if u know the reasons beforehand that why exceptions can be be triggered in mapping,then u can use conditional receiver determination,for e.g suppose u know that you will get a mapping exception if value of tag <OrdersID>=000,then u can use this condition in conditional receiver determination and send a mail to concerned party,but this won't work if u don't know beforehand as to under what conditions the exception will be triggered in mapping.
i would vote for configuring alerts as its the most suited way to handle this

Notification Approval mail did not send

Our Portal is ep6 SP14, The notification mail on CM problem that
1. Nomally the editor will upload the document -> to approval (Now the approval got the mail for approve)
2. After the approval got the mail , already approval. It should send the email to the editor, But now it does not send for the status for that documents via email. (it just send only in Notification mail in portal).

After the documents gets approved it only sends the notification to the author and the status of the document gets changed. Earlier it shows in progress and after approval it will show Released.
