WLSE Express - OpenSSL certificate translating issue

Does anyone have suggestions for converting a .PFX file to .PEM? I can't unzip / am getting an error when trying to install the latest version off of www.openssl.com. I need to perform this conversion for WLSE to accept the certificates. (This is needed for WLSE Express to become a AAA Radius server.) Thanks. Russ

When you install an SSL certificate on a BBSM server, it enables visitors to verify the site's authenticity and communicate with it securely through SSL encryption, which protects confidential information, such as credit card numbers, online forms, and financial data from interception and hacking.
This protection is accomplished by using "HTTPS" when coding the page sets. SSL comes in two strengths, 40 bit and 128 bit, which refer to the length of the "session key" that every encrypted transaction generates. The longer the key, the more difficult it is to break the encryption code.
If you are using RADIUS or credit card page sets, you must install an SSL certificate for end users to gain access to the Internet.

Can not Authenticate WLSE Express with Active Directory

I can not authenticate WLSE Express using external database with AD. I have downloaded the agent to the Domain Controller and install it on AD.
At WLSE Express I found log

4.1 Translation issue (german) in Home - Application Builder- Importieren

Hi there,
while looking a little bit around
I found a translation issue in Home -> Application Builder-> Importieren
In all cases the verb "exportieren" e.g in
"Datenbankanwendung, Seite oder Komponente exportieren"
rather must be the substantive "Export" (in fact the same as in English).
The usage of the verb is very misleading and says not what the the text is supposed to say.
(I think Patrick will see immediately what I mean.)
Also I would like to say, that the main page of APEX should be corrected
to indicate that 4.1 is running now.

Thanks for reporting this. I'll have a bug filed on this and this will have to be fixed in APEX 4.2.
Also, thanks for pointing that out about the home page of apex.oracle.com. We have not forgotten. It will be updated when Application Express 4.1 is released.

WLSE Express with PEAP

Hi All,
We are playing with an WLSE 1030 in combination with PEAP. We think we have a certificate mismatch somewhere. Users are getting a pop-up for there username and password, but get not authenticated.
We imported a CA cert, Server cert and an pvk file with the private key which seems to be correct.
Is someone having a procedure to configure the WLSE Express with PEAP?

I am having a problem importing the certificate to the WLSE Express. Here is teh error that i am getting:
An error has occurred. Please try again or contact an administrator. The error message is:
A validation error has occurred /Radius/Services/cisco-peap/ServerRSAKeyFile: The Server RSA private key cannot be loaded from PEM:/cisco-ar/certs/cisco-peap/server-key.pem. Verify that it contains a valid PEM encoded Server RSA key and that the private key password is correct

How to include the user as a recipient of the email generated when a smart card certificate is issued by an Enrollment Agent on behalf of a user.

How can I add the requester name in the To: field of the email generated when a Smart Card certificate is issued on his behalf.
I want to address the possibility of someone (Enrollment Agent) issuing a Smart Card certificate on behalf of a user, assign a PIN and use it without the user's knowledge.
There doesn't seem to be a way in the registry to define a variable to be used in a manner similar to the TitleArg & TitleFormat way of using %1.

OBIEE 11g Action Link translation issue

Hi All,
I have a translation issue with the Action links in OBIEE 11.1.1.5 version.
The pop-up which is displayed on clicking the column having action link is not getting translated. This seems to be the issue with all the action links.
All other catalog objects, captions etc are translated properly.
Has anyone faced similar issues ? Is there a workaround for this ?

Action links are not getting translated. I faced a similar problem in OBIEE 11.1.1.6 version.
What you can do is replace that action link with a 'link or image' option in dashboard objects.
'Link or Image' types of object get translated in OBIEE 11.1.1.5 as well as OBIEE 11.1.1.6 version.

Authenticating 1300 Bridges to WLSE Express

I'm curious how I can authenticate my 1300 bridges as a client to a WLSE Express.. The WLSE Express does have a built in AAA server and i've created the usernames, but, i'm not sure where in the 1300 I can assign it to authenticate to the WLSE..
My question I guess is, do I need to point these bridges to authenticate to the Root Bridge, and configure a RADIUS association between the Root Bridge and the WLSE Express? Also, where abouts on the Non-Root bridge (or Workgroup) do I configure this?
Any help would be appreaciated.

Administratively Standalone - Active defines that this is the active WDS in WDS domain.
Active, backup, or candidate. If the state is backup, the command (show wlccp wds) also displays the current WDS access point's IP address, MAC address, and priority.
You can configure the WLSE 1030 internal AAA server to authenticate infrastructure APs.

Export a Final Cut Pro XML file problem about translation issue

When I export the final cut pro xml file, there is always translation issue like that 'Transition <....> not translated, Cross Dissolve used instead.'
Most of the transition type can cause the translation issues except the wipe and cross dissolve.
Is there any body knowing the reason? Is that OK?

I've been working with Adobe products for a long time and typically when you come across an error that has anything to do with a XML file export problem its due to things such as effects you may have added in, color corrections, cross fades or any type of video transitions between clips. Remember your work flow should be
Import your footage into Premiere Pro
Name your clips (helps find things later on)
Place clips on time line in the order you wish (ONLY MAKE CUTS don't add anything, transitions color effects nothing)
Then once your clips are all placed on the timeline in your correct order you then EXPORT> Final Cut Pro XML
Now you can bring this into other programs for color grading or whatever else your going to do. You will notice you have no errors on the export.
Once your done doing what your doing to the clips in another program (for example: Divinci Resolve color grading) you can then export them back to your main project then add your effects and transitions.

How do I get lost Sylvan OCP certificates re-issued/confirmed

I had done my Oracle 7, 8, 8i and 9i DBA OCP through Sylvan Prometric years ago and during a break-in at my house, the certificates got stolen. I now need to urgently get hold of these certificates, but Sylvan says that they are archived and I need to contact Oracle
I registered with Pearson Vue and after receiving my username and password, I went into my account history, but nothing shows up, as I had not done my certifications through them.
How do I go about to get these certificates re-issued/verified?

You should contact [email protected] and provide your name, as it was provided when you registered for your exam, your Prometric ID and the list of certifications in question. They will not be able to provide you with score reports from your exams, but they will be able to assit with replacing any certificates that you have earned. You should also let them know that you have created your profile with Pearson VUE and ask them for the information that you will need to get authorized on CertView. They should be able to provide you with the exact info to enter so that you won't have to wait for manual authorization.

Win XP PEAP - AP - WLSE express - AD

I'm trying to set up the following configuration:
- Windows XP client connects to 1130 AP using PEAP with EAP-MSCHAP using the computer account
- AP use WLSE express RADIUS server for authentication
- WLSE express use Windows AD to verify computer account
Is there an example for this configuration?

The procedure for enabling EAP based authentication on the AP is the same for all EAP variants. This document has all the information to enable EAP authentication with a RADIUS server.

Trouble exporting 11-min film as XML because of audio translation issue

Hi, I am trying to export a short film XML file of approximately 11 minutes for a sound engineer and it's coming up with a ton of audio translation issues.
Can I attach the report and someone help me? Most of the issues are audio tracks from ADR but I recorded them with the same H4Zoom I used for the original, and some were the original production audio to which I applied the DeNoiser effect. They're all stereo files with the exception of a few mp3s which were special effect sounds. Why are they not being translated? What can I do to get this into an .xml?? It looks like somewhere between 100-150 audio files were not translated.

are you using merged clips? premiere merged clip XML issue
if the sound engineer will take another format, premiere can export OMF or if you have audition you can open the OMF in audition and export it as a fcp xml.

$10 Rewards Certificate earned & issued yesterday, NOT showing in account today! :(

I've tried calling 3 times, emailing your company and even discussing this matter with your support team via Twitter, and have had different answers, so I thought that I'd try here.
I looked at my My Best Buy account today, and saw that I only had 31 points. Apperantly, yesterday I had been issued my $10 rewards certificate, yet it's NOT showing on my account! Your support team on Twitter said that it should've been there automatically, yet I was told by 3 agents over the phone that I had to wait at least 24 hours or longer for it to show up. I was awarded a tiny customer satisfaction reward (1 point).
I was going to use the certificate + 2 mostly used gift cards towards a movie that just came out and is now on sale, but now I can't buy it from your store until the certificate is issued.
Please resolve this matter very soon so I can buy my movie!

I 100% agree with you that it should not be that difficult to get a straight answer about the status of your $10 certificate. As you may read in other threads on the forum, a certificate will usually post immediately; however, there are times where it may take a little longer, but it should not take more than 24 hours. WLSE Express 2.13 SNMP unreachable

Hi,
Has anyone had trouble with SNMP querying Aironet access points with WLSE Express 2.13? Everything was fine with version 2.12 - I could SNMP query and SNMP discover all my access points. After upgrading the WLSE Express to 2.13, I have a few access points that are now SNMP unreachable. I can reach some APs and other APs are SNMP unreachable. The configurations of all the APs are standardized - all lines pertaining to SNMP are the same.
Any clues or tips? Is this a bug with version 2.13?

What do the SNMP Reachable Test in WLSE come back with for the APs in question?.

SCUP 2011 Verisign Certificate Export Issue

Hi folks,
I'm trying to export a Verisign .pfx certificate to my SCUP 2011 Install however after exporting it doesn't ask for the password.
And when I exit out of the settings page, I don't see the corresponding CN mentioned next time when I open the settings page.
There's nothing I get to see in the SCUP.log file as well.
Can anyone assist or point towards the cause.

Reward Certificate Auto-Issue Issue

I am having an issue with my auto-issue BB reward certificate. One was auto-issued to me around midnight today after I hit the point requirement, but my account is showing 0 certificates although the points have already been deducted from the account. Please assist.

While a certificate is generally available within a matter of minutes of being issued, there are occasions where it might be delayed. It could possibly take a few hours, but it should never take more than a day. That time frame is the same for certificates that were automatically issued and certificates that were requested by the member.
I looked over both of your My Best Buy™ accounts and do see that a certificate was issued yesterday. You should be able to view your certificate by logging into BestBuy.com and clicking on "Rewards" under the My Best Buy™ tab at the top of the page. If you are for some reason still unable to access your certificate, please feel free to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to help.
