WLST in Eclipse: sys-package-mgr + Failed to get environment
Hello.
Due to recent CEAL blog post: https://blogs.oracle.com/pa/entry/getting_started_with_weblogic_scripting
I decided to try out Oracle Enterprice Pack for Eclipse - for writing WLST scripts.
We have OBIEE 11.1.1.7.140415 installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit. It uses JDK 1.6 so I installed OEPE 12.1.2.3 - the last version that supports JDK 1.6.
Then when I try to run simple WLST script I get two following errors:
1) *sys-package-mgr*: can't create package cache dir, 'C:\OracleBI11\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\weblogic.jar\cachedir\packages'
2) Failed to get environment, environ will be empty: (0, 'Failed to execute command ([\'sh\', \'-c\', \'env\']): java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "sh": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified')
About the first one googling says I need to set python.cachedir.skip = true but my efforts on this didn't succeed - I don't understand where can I set this parameter / variable.
About the second googling says it could be caused by jython-modules.jar doesn't know about my platform. But my playing with _osTypeMap didn't succeed too.
Please help me avoid both these errors.
More information would be helpful. . .are you PXE booting? Using media?

The line "skipping bad jar, '/u01/binaries/wls/wls1035_generic.jar'" is the one that's worring me. Can it be corrupt? Or it is something else?
Thanks in advance.Its too early to conclude the issue is a bug with out looking into the logs. For the same reason i requested you to open an SR so that we can have a look at the logs and identify the cause. If you are Oracle employee then you can share the VM details else we need logs to debug this further. If any one from your company can open an sr and share logs then that will be helpful. Can you also check if the shiphome that you downloaded is all correct and checksum/byte matches to what is mentioned on OTN.

Windows 7 64bits Installing Internet Explorer 11 ERROR Neutral package installation failed
Hi,
The laptop is running Windows 7 64bits with Internet Explorer 10 and the Windows automatic updates is turned on. The problem happens when the Windows keeps installing the Internet Explorer 11 every time between shutdown process. So I decided to download
IE11 offline installation and try to install from it but the problem doesn't solve, the installation still does not complete. I have tried to delete all files in the Windows temp folder and IE temp folder already but the problem still exist.

Unfortunately, since then others have quickly stuck a pin in this balloon, finding that it is just one more bump in the road, but at least working around this coding error should change your symptom.

I have tried to create a symbolic link as suggested on a forum but the problem still cannot be solved. The error message from IE11_main.log file is exactly the same as before.

Package header failed verification during sfr package download
Hello,
I am trying to download the package asasfr-5500x-boot-5.3.1-152.pkg. But everytime it comes with an error "Package header failed verification - object of type 'NoneType' has no len() Please verify that the package is not corrupted.Upgrade aborted." I have tried with ftp as well as http. But every case it is happening the same. My question is whether it is the right package. From Cisco doc I have read asasfr-sys-5.3.1-44.pkg. But this version I didn't found on cisco download software site.

SaimunSounds like the package could have been corrupted when downloaded from CCO. Did you run an MD5 hash of the package and compare to the values posted on CCO for the file?
There's a number of free MD5 checksum programs that you can use. My favorite is one called HashCheck.
Hash for SFR package is in red below. If it doesn't match, re-download the image from CCO again and make sure the hashes match. -

We hope your issue has been resolved, if you've found solution by yourself. We would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.
I am looking to your log find that it's trying to launch DISM from c:\windows\SysNative. You might try build a symbolic link from c:\windows\system32 (where DISM lives) to the non-existent path c:\windows\SysNative. Then check the issue again.
To build a symbolic link, try workaround as Brian's reply to this thread.

My SSIS package retrieves a excel file and saves the vales into an SQL table. When I run the package by itself in my server it works fine but when it's called from a SQL agent, it fails with the above error. Please help me resolve it.That's the issue. If it's a SQL login the password cannot be retrieved by account executing the package from the job which is why login fails. In that case best thing would be set password in job properties or pass it using configuration created in the package

Greetings. I am new to UPK and am seeking guidance on an upgrade to 11.1.
A little background on what we are trying to do:
We have two machines:
Windows 2003 machine in domain 'X' | UPK 11.0.0.1.
Windows 2008 R2 virtual machine in domain 'Y' | UPK 11.0 on the new machine first, install the 11.0.0.1 patch, and then upgrade to 11.1.
We are using the same database as the old machine. Developer Server is Standard Authentication, Knowledge Center is Windows authentication.

So far we have installed 11.1 with the respective database upgrades, but are lost as to how to migrate the old Content Root data. We have copied all the content to the new Content Root, added it to IIS like the old machine, and verified that the UPK database Content Root path is correct and working.
For the rest of the post, I am remoted into the server from my local workstation, and then using IE to access KCenter on the server's FQDN, not via localhost.
Since I am green, so I presumed that I would need to import the titles under Manager in KCenter. I zipped each content folder individually (they are named "1", "9", etc), and then attempted to import each zip file.
NOTE: At this stage sometimes we are prompted to authenticate again. When it does, sometimes the credentials that we know work, get rejected and we are prompted again. This will repeat until we get a 401 and we have to start over. We have verified that the Windows account currently in session with the site is valid and has administrator authority within KC.
NOTE2: On the first few tries, .NET complained that maxRequestLength was not large enough. I had our servers team increase it on the actual server in order for us to proceed.
Provided we don't have to authenticate again, or that it actually accepts our credentials, we get to the 30% mark and then receive the error: *"Package load Failed! Invalid package Title, manifest file cannot be found"*
Does anyone have any wisdom for this process? The title importation section in the deployment manual is not helping, and the administrator from whom I am taking over this software has not had to deal with this before.

I have gone through an extensive troubleshooting process with Oracle, including their development team, in order to fully complete our project setup. As a supplemental bit of information, we also were having connection errors when attempting to publish directly to the knowledge center.
As far as the context of this post, here is the solution in brief:
1) Verify that the package being imported was published from the same version of the Developer Client as the Knowledge Center installation's.
2) Check for database consistency issues. In our case we were using a database that was built in another domain. After numerous attempts with Oracle support on the line to determine the inconsistency, it was decided to completely reinstall and build a new database from scratch in the new domain.
3) Check application pool identities and access (while we had some inconsistencies here, correcting them did not change the behavior of the import/publish errors)
In review, a lot of what we had setup was correct. Our primary point of failure, we feel, was using the old database. Technically this should not have been a problem, but Murphy likes to get his way sometimes.

All the SSIS packages are failing for me, not just the one I created, even the ones that were working
before, the ones that were created by the previous person, I just went to Start Debugging and it would failed at the same exact stage
Below are the exact steps that I do to create the SSIS Package (based on the notes from previous person)
1. right click on SSIS Package and select sql server import and export wizard and click next
2. Select data source as .Net framework Data Provide for ODBC
3. Input Datasource, and driver as: TS ODBC Multi – Tier Driver
4. Choose destination as Microsoft OlE DB Provide for SQL Server
5. Write a basic select statement.
6. Click edit Mappings
7. Here's the important part... I am ABLE to preview the DATA.
8. Click ok next finished
9. Click debug start debugging
10. The preparation SQL task will be green, but the Data Flow Task will failed everytime for me.
If anyone has any suggestion please let me know, b/c I have try every possible ways and out of luck, and I don't want to explain to my boss

Does the Full Optimize work from the Administration Console directly?
If it's the case, delete the scheduled package for Full Optimize every night (in both eData -> Package Schedule Status and in the Scheduled Tasks on your server Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks), and then try to reschedule it from scratch.
If it's not solving your problem, I would check if there are some "wrong" records into the FACT and FAC2 tables.
After that, I would also check if the tblAppOptimize is having other values than 0. For all applications, you should have a 0 there.

Did you try recompiling them with utlrp.sql script??
Count the number of invalid packages before and after running this script.
Default location of this file is as follows.
Windows: %ORACLE_HOME%/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql
Unix/Linux: $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql

PLS-00753: malformed or corrupted wrapped unit on SYS packages
Hello All,
I tried to run an export today and received this error on the SYS.DBMS_AQADM_SYS package body. I tried dropping and recreating through the catalog.sql, catexp.sql, and catproc.sql scripts but the package body was recreated with the same errors. I have done exports on this instance before and it seemed to cause this problem today at random. Now several other sys packages are going invalid as a result and when I try to run an export I get the error:

Seanit appears that my sys and apex_flows schema are now hosed. apex stopped working so I restarted the machine - now when I try to start Oracle it gets all the way to "database mounted" before cancelling with the "ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced"
does this mean that my instance is hosed? I can restore from a backup but would lose some serious development time if this occurred. -

Go to Solution.regarding stability issues you should notice that susew 10.3 kernel is buggy if you are unknown of this fact check out bugzilla for more details as far as suse 11 is concerned yeah..m going for it as soon as i get it!
