_WLStub instead of regular stub sometimes

Hi,
Could anybody enlighten me the following problem?
Im using Orbix 6.1 and Weblogic 8.1 SP 1.
In one module of application the stub used to access corba server has _WLStub
suffix, instead of regular stubs used in all other modules. In WL 8.2 SP2 and
other application servers it everithing seems to be ok.
Does anybody knows how to force WL not to compile XXX_WLStub but to use _XXXStub?

_WLStub is the internal WLS stub format. It is sometimes used for
RMI-IIOP calls as well as t3. What is the actual problem you observe.
andyWe have a problem at another server. We are trying to find a way to force WL
use our stubs. Could you enlighten what could be a reasons WLS doing this?
(the same deployment works on other servers correctly)

Creating Weblogic Engine Queues using SAF instead of regular Queues

Hi,
I was just wondering to see if anybody has configured Oracle BPM engine with weblogic using SAF instead of regular queues ? I would like to know the impact. Any comments on Advantages/Disadvantages of this approach is also appreciated
My primary objective for this mode is not lose any process data for lack of access to the underlying resource. I was hoping SAF would queue all the data incase of the resource unavailability and would then update the resource once it is available.

Message entering the exception queue instead of regular queue

First of all , hello everyone.
I'm new to streams technology and i found this forum that seem to be very helpful.
I have a problem - I defined a queue XYZ and then built a capture process queue that enters changes on some scheme to this queue.
The problem is that the changes enters the exception queue table aq$XYZ_table instead the regular queue table XYZ_table.
I checked the capture process and it seems working fine.
does anyone has a direction of why this problem happens?

i checked on this error and i found that i need to run DBMS_CAPTURE_ADM.PREPARE_TABLE_INSTANTIATION in order to fix it but it also didn't help , and the capture process still not working.

Image Capture creating zip files instead of regular files

I've been using Image Capture for many years. For some reason, all of a sudden, all my scans are being put into a zip file instead of as a regular file. I'd like to have Image Capture make regular files again such as pdf etc. What do I do?
Does this have anything to do with going to OS Yosemite 10.10?

appzapper & such are pretty flaky at removing things usefully, imo.

or get a hold of FindAnyFile or easyfind & search for Growl & Speeddownload & yazsoft - but from all I hear, the uninstaller works fine.
Failing that, Safari's settings plist file isn't in caches
Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist
is the place
& if you're still stuck, test & maybe download another browser using a New User Account.

Arabic numerals instead of regular

I just installed illustrator ME edition and I've been having a problem typing regular numerals. Instead of numbers, Arabic (at least i think it's arabic) pops up, even when I'm typing in English.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Notice the first bullet point on this Adobe info page.
I know nothing about the ME edition, but the implication is that there is a special feature that enables the use of arabic 'digits.' Perhaps there is a setting -- unique to the ME version, perhaps in preferences, under the Type menu, or in the Character or Paragraph panel flyout menus -- that controls which set of numerals are used.
Beyond that, I'm sorry, but I'm out of ideas.
Curious... Are you using an ME version of Windows, as well?

Lightswitch - Person Picker dialog not showing name, instead shows person id sometimes

I have a simple add user screen with Email, o365username, UserListProp and name fields. I am grabing Email and o365username from UserListProp change event. UserListProp is the Screen property from UserInformationList datasource. And i have unchecked the
"Is Searchable" property of the user information list for my purpose.
So here is the problem, When i click "+" sign to grab user from the UserListProp dialog, Sometimes it shows personid and sometimes the name of the user.
Say, for me it's, Nirav Maisuriya or [email protected]
Please help.
I do't know if it's a known issue or lightswitch bug or some error or the network traffic.
Please guide me through. Need reply from Lightswitch Team if possible.

You could try to use add or edit dialog to achieve this, this is pretty simple to do this with add and edit screen.

Mail crashes regularly, and sometimes safari

Hi, I have a 32gb 3gs, fully update to 4.2.1. In the last few days, the mail application has become almost totally unusable, and safari frequently so. With mail, it's fine when I open the app, and I can even compose/send messages fine. But when I select an email to read, the app crashes, and I'm back at the home screen. It isn't doing it 100% of the time, but probably 95%. Safari is less consistent. Sometimes it works fine, other times it crashes as it's opening. When that happens, and I open it successfully the next time, it displays a page with my bookmark menu, and my open pages are gone.
I've done a soft reset and a hard reset, restoring from my backup in itunes. Am I really supposed to pay $30 to get tech support for this? Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!

What is the difference between a soft reset and a hard reset?

Satellite A660-11M: regular crashes, sometimes even before the BIOS...

I purchased one month ago an Satellite A660-11M.
I set up a double boot windows 7 / ubuntu 10.04, and I experienced several times a complete freeze of the system under both OS. Moreover, after a freeze the laptop is really hard to reboot: it generally freezes several times in a row, and most of the time there is no screen display at all (I cannot even see the BIOS lines, nor the toshiba logo).
I read several threads with the same diagnosis, and it seems to be likely to come from the AC adapter.
Is there a way to be sure that it comes from it, and if yes what can I do about it ? If I send my computer in warranty, what are the chances that this issue is fixed?

Hello and thank you for your previous answer.
After several days of chaotic use of my computer, I have some other symptoms:
- crashes can happen under both windows and linux, under any kind of application (firefox, warcraft 3, windows startup, linux startup).
- when there is a crash, the hard drive seems to go on, however: the picture is frozen, generally the sound is frozen as well (yet not always) and neither the mouse nor the keyboard are answering. If I press the maj key, the led usually signalling the maj mode doesn't react. I then have no other choice than pressing the power key 5 secs...
- after a crash, the reboot is very painful: it crashes generally several times during the boot process (under win 7 and linux) and there is a very weird stuff happening: the video card seems to remember the crash, ie for example what happened once is: I got a crash under Win7. I rebooted directly under Linux, and Linux booted AUTOMATICALLY in safe video mode (it happened once under windows as well). Under linux I extracted the Xorg.1.log file, and here are the 2 lines in error:
(EE) [drm] failed to open device
(EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found)
However, when the boot is normal, I don't have such a thing, which means that the driver is actually working well.
It seems that each time I boot in safe mode (under both win and ubuntu) everything works fine. So the issue may actually come from the video card (GeForce 330M). I didn't change the factory driver under windows, but it is more recent than the one present on Toshiba website...

Anyone seeing pastes as html instead of plain or formatted text?

I am being assisted by Microsoft here - but thought this may be a conflict problem so am posting here: Has anyone experienced this:?: In MS Word (2008 or 2011) when copying text in a document and then pasting, the pasted text is all html - blue and underlined and with some link.
This happens essentially ALL THE TIME now - and the initial "things to try" with MS have not cured this. The fact that it occurs with MS Word 2008 and 2011 (I have both on my MacBook Pro-13" May 2010 version running 10.6.6). I believe this started with MS Word 2008. I've not yet tested Excel and Powerpoint -but believe I may be seeing this with Excel as well. NO - SOME TESTING JUST NOW DOES NOT SHOW THIS AT ALL IN EXCEL 2011.
And when I copy some text from somewhere else (like this message) and then open a doc in Word and paste it- it pastes fine. But not when I take an existing doc and copy paste.
Any comments (or cures!) really appreciated. Again, I'm getting good, personal support from Microsoft - but my Mac is very personalized with startups programs and haxies and more––– I thought someone may have had a similar experience and could help.

I'm replying to my own post here because I may have found the answer-- It seems that CopyPaste Pro 2.3.3 is causing the conflict / problem with MS Word - causing it to paste html instead of regular or formatted text.
For the moment, I've reinstalled CopyPaste 2.2.7 and this does not seem to have the same problem. I just think Apple should include multiple pastes as a standard part of the OS. OK I'll write to them on that point.
Note that I will keep this post open a few more days in case the problem is more complex - i.e. that CopyPaste is conflicting with another (of my many) shareware programs which is then together causing the WORD paste problem -- but I don't think it is that complicated. Let's see what the CopyPaste team says.

Randomly, text messages I send with my new iPhone 4S are delivered to the recipients as all squares instead of regular characters. I have heard other people complain about this too. Any idea how to stop it or why it is happening? Hardware issue?

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Using Black ink instead of Photo Black ink

I have an HP Photosmart Premium 309a and would like to know what settings I need to change so that when printing a text document it uses the black ink instead of the photo black ink.
