WLWPatchInitialize.cmd Missing after Integration Server Installation 9.2

Hello,
After installing BEA Integration Server 9.2 without any problem I could not find the WLWPatchInitialize.cmd file.
This batch file must be executed in order that the BEA Integration 92 would be enabled in Eclipse Workshop provided by BEA.
It seems other people have the same issue.
Can someone from BEA or others who solved this issue to give us a little bit of help here regarding this issue?

[XI] Missing related integration server in SLD

Hi Experts.
I'm very new in SAP Netweaver and it's components. Now I study XI and I would like to config some simple scenarios (FILE-XI-FILE etc). My colleague have installed XI on our machine and everything set up as well. I started with SLD in order to configure Technical systems and Bussiness systems. At first, I configured Technical system as Third-Party system and then I start to configure Bussiness system. I used Third-Party system as well and when I was on the last step of the Business system wizard. The Business System role was preddefined (Application System) and unabled to change. I wanted to choose from the List of Related Integration Servers, but there is nothing in the list. Now I'm helpless and I don't know how to get the name of the integration server to the list. Could anyone help me with my issue? Any help would be welcome. Thanks

I have exactly followed that scenario and in the step 6 I wanted to choose related integration server (in that scenario it's SXI) but I have an empty list of my related integration servers. In SLD I tried in Administration->Content Maintenance->(subset)Landscape Description->(class)XI Domain and I found out that there are XI Contained Adapter and XI Contained Integration Server associated with it. So is there needed some configuration in Content maintenance in order to solve my problem. Probably my question isn't very well described, but I'm sorry because I don't have any experience with XI and I just started with it. So my question again: How will I get the name of my integration server to be in that list (like in that scenario in step 6 ...)?

Boot file for Windows 7 missing after windows 10 installation.

Hello,
Recently for the purpose of evaluation, i installed Windows 10 enterprise technical preview on a VHD mounted on a machine running Windows 7 64bit ultimate. Installation process went well but since then I cannot log onto windows 7 itself.
Machine loads directly to windows 10 without giving any option to choose the OS. When I checked the system configurations there is only one boot file displayed - windows technical preview - there is no sign of windows 7 boot file.
Wondering if anyone else experience any such issues.
If yes then how to solve this issue.

Can you give us more information about your situation?
Based on my understanding, you create a Native Boot to VHD on Windows 7 machine, right?
If so, this would be a mistake on deleting boot entry.
I would like to know if you can get the Windows 7 system partition in current disk management. If so, we can use following command to add a boot entry.
bcdboot F:\windows
F: represents the Windows 7 Operating system letter.

Can create vlan group on eth0 after OVM Server installation?

Hi,
I have installed OVM server to use eth0 without vlan segment for ovm manager to manage OVM server.
Now if I want to use eth0 for virtual machine management purpose as well, can I edit this network, create vlan group on eth0,
one for server managent + cluster heartbeat + live migration
one for virtual machine management?
Or I have to reinstall OVM server with vlan segment on eth0?
Appreciate any comment on this.

it was the wrong mfc42.dll version

I have lost all my user account after Lion Server Installation. This is on a Mac Mini Server

I did all software update before migrate to Lion and Lion Server. But surprise! No more users account? I thought that a migration should take care off user accounts? Is there anything I should do to get my user accounts, an all related thong like email accounts?

Rename a Data Integrator server after initial installation

Is it possible to rename the Data Integrator server after initial installation?

The easiest thing to do is running the server manager before the migration and remove the repository assoziation or the entire jobserver. Same with the management console.
Then move the server.
And recreate the jobserver and webadmin entry.
In case it is too late for the first step, simply truncate AL_MACHINE_INFO table deleting all jobserver/webadmin links and then resync those.

Why I am getting this error?
In the SAPnote 455195: its given to merge the TSK and TSK.bck files after the elimination of the error.
Preveously i got one error with Administrator user and i solved that by starting the installation with SIDADM user.
Then how to merge the two files?
And now why i am getting this error.

It seems to me like you have
1. Previous failed instance of SQL Server installation which subsequently caused further SQL Server installations to fail
2. The windows account with which you logged into machine to install SQL Server is corrupt
You can, If possible create a new windows account give it admin privileges and then log into machine using this account
After you login follow below method to remove failed SQL Server installation
Uninstall
Uninstall SQL Server completely from add remove program. Make sure no previous failed installation fragments are present on your system. Please use this

. If you have SQL Server 2005

If you are unable to uninstall SQL Server completely because you deleted SQL Server files and un-installation is giving error please follow below method. This method is tested and suggested on

Note: Removing necessary registry entries might cause SQL Server instance to crash so backup registry before doing changes.

3. Delete the following keys using regedit:

6. Rename all the SQL Server folders in the computer.
7. Reboot the machine.

privileges to network service user automatically, but changing user by means of sql confugarition manager does not give these

Now, system user has privileges listed below. And sql server has been running for 1,5 months without any problems.

Domain, Integration Server and Intergration Directory is missing

After system copy, I cant find the Domain, Integration Server and Intergration Directory for the new system in the Exchange Infrastructure. The source system and target system is using the same SLD.

The XI components have not successfully registered in the SLD. Apply note #764176 Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD contents. If you stil have issues, search the forum for similar cases of "XI sld register" e.g. Adapter Engine no register in SLD..

Messages not processed by integration server after SP09 to SP16

We upgraded from service pack stack 09 to 16 and since then no messages
are getting routed to integration server. We tried a cache access
though TCODE: SXI_CACHE and it said "if_http_client receive
http_communication_failure". Then we went to ICM monitoring through
TCODE: SMICM and saw that the http service that runs on 8000 port is
inactive when we tried to activate it gave an error. Here is the
snapshot from the trace file.

When we tried to access runtime workbench through integration builder
webpage it says "page not found".
When we tried to login to the J2EE visual admin using the default
account(J2EE_admin) it gave the
error "http://pearl:8101/msgserver/text/logon returned empty list of
connection parameters."
In SAPMMC we looked at the system log and saw the error "SAP Basis
System: Operating system call gethostbyaddr failed (error no. 0 )".
We tried restarting the whole server but to no effect.

since your OS is Windows try following in command at prompt
C:>netstat -a
or
C:>netstat -an
one of the above will work in NT, the list shows the listening (Open) ports and ESTABLISHED (used)..check for the 8000 which is your HTTP port.
Also in SAP check the t-code "SMICM" and then goto services and see the HTTP services running without error or not?
Hint: Port names are defined in services file located at C:\WINDOWS\systemXX\drivers\etc\services file..

Integration Server Missing

I am trying to create a Business System in SLD , at the end its asking me to select Related Integration Server but dropdown list box won't show any entries in it.

Users missing after server restart

Hello,
I have had 2 servers in the past week loose all the user accounts after a server restart. In both cases I had to restore from backup. Anyone else have this happen to them?

How are you restarting your server?
The roles and users are present in the data\ldap folder on your server folder, by any chance are they getting deleted?

How to test a new SQL Server installation

Hi,
We are in the process of consolidating several database on a single SQL Server instance.
We first installed a test server and we want to use this installation as the base for our production server.
I checked:
- the server collation is the one required SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI
- services are running: SQL Server Database engine, Analysis services, Report Services, Integration Services are running
I identified the following problems:
- SQL Server Agent is not running and I can not start it from the services panes of the computer management
- When I want to connect to SQL Server Integeration Services from SQL Server Management Studio I get a pop up error message:
failed to retrieve data for this request (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc)
acces is denied
What else should I check?
We are a small team and I am new to database administration, every advice is appreciated.

Backup compression
Error Log
Securit, logins, aduiting ( Minimum failed and successful logins )
Ports ( Static or dynamic -- Named Instance )
Default location of the data,log(ldf),backup -- If you have missed this at the time of installation.
authentication mode
disable or change the SA password ( Enforce password policy )
Service packs and hot fixes, CU's
Configure all the required basic maintenance jobs
SQL Service accounts or MSA in case of standalone hosts Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 or later ..

Monitoring if required
Move all the required configuration details from your existing servers using --- sp_configure
Move all the logins and jobs..

Change the databases compatibility level after restoring in new server
rebuild the index and update the stats once after restoring it in new server.
Most importantaly review the setup log once after the complete installation.. and sql error log, eventlog..
