WM how to determine storage bins manually for a multi row transfer order?

Hi to everyone. in our WM configuration, SAP system is posting transfer requirements automatically according to goods receipt. After that, we want to post transfer orders with reference to recently created transfer requirement.
We prefer to use Logistics> Logistics Execution> Internal Whse Processes> Transfer Requirement> Display> LB12 - For Material Document
Then choose the transfer requirement we want and press "TO in foregr." button. For single material documents, there is not a problem, we can easily determine the storage bin(s) we want to transfer materials. But in multi material transfer orders there is not an option to choose storage bins in "Create TO from TR: Overview of Transfer Requirement" screen. it is expected from us to "generate TO item" and "save" without entering any storage bin addresses. after that, system automatically send materials to storage bins according to customizations and the material master data.
I want to know, if there is a possibility for us to choose the storage bins we want in multi material transfer orders which are created from transfer requirements. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The path for configure the documents that we want to print when we create transfer orders is: SPRO --> SAP REFERENCE IMG button --> Logistics Execution --> Warehouse Management --> Storage Units --> Activities --> Define print control.

  • How to determine the mount point for directory /tmp ?

    Folks,
Hello. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 Virtual Machines (rac1 and rac2 whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6) in VMPlayer and according to the tutorial
    http://appsdbaworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/10/11gr2-rac-on-linux-56-using-vmware.html
I am installing Grid infrastructure. I am on step 7 of 10 (verify Grid installation enviroment) and get this error:
    "Free Space: Rac2: /tmp"
Cause: Could not determine mount point for location specified.
Action: Ensure location specified is available.
    Expected value: n/a
    Actual value: n/a
I have checked the free space using the command:
    [root@Rac2 /]# df -k /tmp
    Output:
Filesystem     1k-blocks     used     Available     Use%     Mounted on
    /dev/sda1     30470144     7826952     21070432     28%     /
As you see above, the free space is enough, but could not determine mount point for /tmp.
Do any folk understand how to determine the mount point for directory /tmp ?
    Thanks.

I have just checked "/home/oracle/.bash_profile". But in my computer, there is no "oracle" under /home directory. Is this your first time Linux and Oracle installation? I had a brief look at your referenced link. The reason why you do not find a "oracle" user is because the instructions use "ora11g" instead, which, btw, is not standard. The directories of your installation and your installation source can be somewhat different from known standards and you will have to adjust it to your system.
My best guess is that you have either missed something in the instructions or you need to ask the author of the blog what is wrong. The chance to find someone here who has experience with these custom instructions is probably unlikely.
I suggest you try to locate the cluster verification tool, which should be in the bin directory of your grid installation. Alternatively you might want to check the RAC, ASM & Clusterware Installation forum: RAC, ASM & Clusterware Installation

  • Need to enter the storage bin manually

    Hi Team,
Currently while posting the IM movement type 311, storage type(FIFO) search strategy is configured for stock removal process.
Now the requirement is for certain materials, while doing the transaction, we don't want to pick the bin automatically(by using the FIFO), we want to enter the Storage bin manually, please suggest.
    Advanced Thanks,
    AN Reddy.

    Hello A.N Reddy,
There is a confusion here. Are you talking about WM or EWM.
If it is WM, then, I would suggest you to enable, Manual Storage Bin Input for respective WM Movement Type in WM Movement Configuration. That will request you to enter Storage Bin Manually during TO Creation.
If it is EWM, For your process type, Make Search Seq field as Blank and  keep your Putaway Rule as " No Putaway Rule ". This will request to you to enter the storage bin Manually during Warehouse Task Creation Process.
In EWM Outbound Process, you have to empty your search criteria in your Pick Rule.

  • Multiple storage bin location for single material in material master

    HI experts
    1) we have a senario for our cliant , for which it is required to enter a 6 or 7 storage bin locations for a single part which is created in materials master without having a WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT .
    2) User can enter a quantity while doing GR in to that all locations.
    3) reports based on stock avialble in all storage locations ( like MMBE)
    Kaustubh

Storage bin used in IM is stored in table MARD. Key fields in table MARD are: client/plant/storage location. So you can have only one storage bin for a plant/storage location combination - even if you want to have more.
If you want more than one storage bin per storage location you have to use warehiuse management.
    That's all.

    (('Guy', 'Himuro', 'GHIMURO'),('Karen', 'Colmenares', 'KCOLMENA'))
Passing a Vector to Expression.in(Vector) where each element is a Vector of values itself will result in the appropriate expression for the values clause, but how to I get the columns to be considered together, that is, how do I get the "(first_name, last_name, email)" part?

    Steve,
I do not believe this is currently supported in the TopLink expression framework. Your best bet at this point will be to use custom SQL.

  • What is the Cube refresh and how to determine cube refresh time for a cube

    hi,
what will be the meaning of cube refershing, i believe it is clearing and updating the data in production weekly or monthly basis. how it will happen in general, do we need to do mannually, will there be any scheduler in production.
please clarify me how to determine refresh timime for a cube, what facters we need to consider.
    Thanks,
    bhavani.

I can't give you specific guidelines as every client/cube is different based on needs. Here is some general info.
Cube refresh is a pretty generic name for a number of things.
It could be as you say clearing and updating the cube, or just updating, or running calculations or running restructure operations. It's pretty much what you need it to be for your environment. As to timing, There are two timings to consider. First, the frequency of refresh. Is it Monthly, weekly, Daily, hourly? That depends on the application and the needs of the users. The second thing is how long the refresh takes. Is it seconds, minutes, hours, etc. This has to be considered to meed the User's SLA and hopfully fit into a batch processing window. Refreshes can be done manually or automated with batch or shell scripts (depending on the OS) and scheduled through whatever scheduling package is on the box (Windows AT scheduler, Cron, third party, etc)

  • How to remove storage bin stock

    Short text
Stock Comparison Inventory Management / Warehouse Management
    Description
Using this report you can generate an inventory comparison between the IM System (Inventory Management) and the WM System (Warehouse Management).
On the selection screen, you can limit the area for comparison by entering the plant / storage location, plant / warehouse number or only the warehouse number.
In addition to specifying the area, you can also determine the extent of information to be issued.  Here you have three options:
    1. "With bin inventory"
In addition to generating the corresponding stock figures, you can also have a list of the corresponding WM bin quantities included.
    2. "All data on material"
Even if only one difference occurs in one of the listed combinatations of material / batch / special stock indicator / supplier, all material combinations are listed. This can be very helpful when searching for errors.
    3. "Clear differences"
If you mark this field, the system will generate a batch input session. By starting the batch input session, the differences to be cleared are removed in the IM system.  Negative WM stock figures and stock differences in returns will not be cleared.
If you want to have a batch input file generated for the purpose of clearing the differences, it is important, for consistency reasons, that the materials in the respective warehouse are blocked in order that postings affecting stock figures can be prevented.
CAREFUL: If you generate this session, all the material stocks belonging to the respective warehouse number are blocked completely, that is, for the duration of the program, no postings affecting the stock in the warehouse will be possible!
    Prerequisites
The comparison is also possible for warehosue numbers managed on a decentralized basis.
    Output
You receive a list with various materials. The list contains the following information, for example:
The first line contains the plant, storage location, warehouse number, material number, total stock in inventory management, total stock in the warehouse, and the difference between the stocks.
The following line contains the first combination of batch / special stock indicator / supplier (or sales document and item number for sales order stock) and stock category (Q,R,S, ), the stock figures in Inventory Management, in Warehouse Management, and the difference.
If a batch input session is to be generated, the list contains a note in the log as to whether or not a session has been generated or behind the pushbutton "non-postable stocks", which materials could not be cleared because of negative stock figures or because they belong to returns stock.

  • How to determine price difference account for 301 MT?

I know that 309 movement type is used for tranferring a material to another material . If the prices of two materials are different, price difference will go into transferring account determined by transaction key AUM.
301 movement type is used for transferring material A from plant 1000 to plant 2000. Suppose a scenerio:
    plant 1000, material A, standard price 115,
    plant 2000, material A, standard price 100,
so, if I use MB1B to do a transfer posting, the  accounting entry must be:
    Dr: stock posting account    100
         price difference account   15
       Cr: stock posting account   115
What I doubt is, in this scenerio, How to determine this price difference account in OMJJ and OBYC? It is also determined by transction key AUM like 309?
    Hope you can help. Thanks.

I have checked that price difference account of 309 MT is also determined by AUM. But, from SAP documentation, AUM is described like this:  "This transaction is used for transfer postings from one material to another if the complete value of the issuing material cannot be posted to the value of the receiving material. " So I think that AUM is is used for transferring one material to another material, not used for transferring a material from one plant to another plant.  It is different therotically, I think. but, in practice, 301 and 309 both use AUM for price difference account.
    THis is my doubt.

  • How to block storage bin transfer

    Dear experts,
I have an issue. Fo example, a material is already been flagged for deletion. All transfer from plant level up to storage location is already blocked. But I can still do bin transfer using LT01. Can we block LT01 as well?
    Please advise.
    Best Regards,
    Hasniza

    Hi
In that case if the storage bin is getting blocked then it will affect the postings of other materials , so better to go with material level
Do one cycle in your development/quality server and ensure that it is working fine as per the clients requirement, take care of other exceptional scenarios also if any.
