WM : How to move Stock available in Interim bin to normal bin

Hi...
I am doing MB1C using MType 561 to create some inventory of a material.
The stock gets incresed in plant / storage location at INV level but in WM it is lying at interim location of linked warehouse / storage type.
I did try to find out the TR number against which I can create / confirm TO to move inventory into normal BIN, but no TR is created for this transaction. In this regard I have two queries
1) I could find out one field in transaction where we linked Reference movement Type to WM movement type. In that field we can set whether we need to generate TR or not and for movement Type 561 is it set as DONT generate TR.
Is that the reason why TR was not generated ??
Since this is the standard SAP settings therefore wondering what could be the business logic behind it ??
2) My second query is .... since for this transaction , TR is not generated therefore how to move that inventory from INTERIM BIN to NORMAL BIN , I mean which Transaction I should use ??
Thx in advance ...
Regards
SANDEEP MARWHA

Hi,
just check whether you followed these steps. If you follow, then system should create TR.
1) Make a new WM movement type 561.
2) Link it with IM movement type 561 by using a reference movement type.
3) Check an interim storage type 998 is present in the system.
4)Give 998 storage type in the 561 WM movement type detail.
5)Create a fixed storage bin in storage type 998 and assign this storage bin in the WM movement type 561.
6)DO mb1c & TR created.
7)Confirm the TO.
Cheers

  • How to move stock from 916 to Open Area

    Dear all
I have stock in Storage Type 916 is 600 KG, in MB52 also to 600 KG
I want to move stock from storage type 916 to Open Area with TCode LT01
I have Message Erorr "E::000 Strg.Type : 916 to  is not correct, please changed."
    Can you help me please
    thanks
    imron

916 is the zone for goods issue to deliveries.
so the stock is probably allocated to a delivery.
You can unpick the quantity and move it back to any bin you want by using LT0G transaction.

What Fiscal Year you are Using K4 or V3?
If ur using K4 then Reverse all the Posting and Repost again for Period 12.
If ur using V3 then Reverse all the Posting and Repost again for Period 10.

  • Movie Rental availability (iTunes Store, Ireland)

Any idea how long movies are available for rental in the store?
I have noticed that many movies (e.g. John Carter, Thor, Iron Man 2, X-Men first class, True Grit, Tron;Legacy and many more) which were once available for rent are no longer available. All of these movies are still for sale in the store.
Where can I find an answer to this as it would help me when deciding on a rental.

There isn't a fixed timescale, it will probably vary by studio and potentially by film within that studio - and possibly by how well rentals/sales are going for it.

    Regards,
    Srini

    Dear,
If you have maintained a material in BOM with negative quantity. Then at the time of creation of Production Order when system creates automatic Reservation, then this material quantity will get displayed under "Rcpt reservation" column in MMBE. Because that much quantity will be received as By-Product via 531 movement.
    Please  ckeck this link,

  • How to stop stock movement through 105

I have a scenario, in which QM is on (inspection type 01 Activated) on a material, now Inspection lot is also generated after GR, but Store user has moved the stock using 105. is there any possible way to restrick store not to move stocks of those materials on which 01 inspection type is activated.

Store user has moved the stock using 105 : Possibly stock was in Unrestricted so store was able to move it.
If the stock is in QI then its not possible to move unless you clear Inspection lot stock through QA11/QA12.
You can check autherization object like
    Material Documents: Movement Type M_MSEG_BMB
    Goods Movements: Movement Type M_MSEG_BWA
    With the help of Basis.
But best way is to control in stock posting in QA11 instead of autherization.

  • How to take stock in warehouse

    Hi,
Already we have a plant and storagelocation which is under operational and also stock is maintained under IM. Now we have planned to go for the new warehouse creation if i configure the warehouse settings and all. Now how to take the stock which is already there in IM to WM.
Whether i have to create a TR or the TO directly.
    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,
As you have got stock alredy there at storage location level so dont need to go for any initial upload. I Assume that you have done all the required WM configuration to have WM functional. Here you dont need to create any TR. Rather you may go for direct TO creation. Your stock must be lying in the interim storage location, which you need to move the particular storage bins.
Here your interim bin would be a source and the desired bin would be your destination for entering that in to TO.
You may follow the following steps to do it.
    1) Logistics - Logistics Execution - Inbound Process - Goods Receipt for Purchase Order, Order, Other Transactions - Putaway - Create Transfer Order For Material (T-CODE: LB11)
Fill in the mandatory entries like warehouse number, Material number etc.
    OR
Directly LT03 can be used with reference to the delivery
    2) Click TO in foreground
    3) Click Putaway foreground (F5)
    4) Depending upon the putaway strategy the destination bin would be suggested or user need to do the manual entry
    5) Save / Post (Ctrl+S), which would give a Transfer Order (TO) number
    6) To display the TO created
Logistics - Logistics Execution - Inbound Process - Goods Receipt for Inbound Delivery - Putaway - Display Transfer Order - Single Document (T-CODE: LT21)
The list would show red indicator against the particular TO, which means it is yet to be confirmed.
    7) To confirm the TO
Logistics - Logistics Execution - Inbound Process - Goods Receipt for Inbound Delivery - Putaway - Confirm Transfer Order - Single Document - In One Step (T-CODE: LT12)
    8) Choose Standard
    9) Select the line item and choose Confirm internally
    10) Save / Post (Ctrl+S). System issues a message for confirmation of TO
    11) To check the correctness of stock in Bin
Logistics - Logistics Execution - Internal Whse Processes - Bins and Stock Display - Single Displays - Storage Bin (T-CODE: LS03N)
    12) Enter Ware house number, Storage type and storage bin. This would give the material stock available in that particular bin
    I hope this helps you
    Regards,
    Sachin

    Physical Inventory:
Physical Inventory is a business process in which physical stock is matched with book (system) stock. It is legal requirement to carry out physical inventory at least once in a year.
Physical inventory can be carried out both for a companyu2019s own stock (Unrestricted, Quality, Blocked Stock) and for special stocks (Customer Consignment stock, Vendor consignment stock from vendor, Returnable packaging). This inventory is carried out saperately for both type of stocks.
    Physical Inventory Processes:
Several inventory processes available for physical inventory which includes as follow:
    1. Periodic Physical Inventory
o All stocks of the company are physically counted on the balance sheet key date
o Every material must be counted
o Entire warehouse must be blocked for material movements during count.
    2. Continuous Physical Inventory
o Stocks are counted continuously during the entire fiscal year.
o It is important to ensure that every material is physically counted at least once during the year.
    3. Cycle Counting
o In this method of physical inventory, inventory is counted at regular intervals within a fiscal year.
o These intervals (or cycles) depend on the cycle counting indicator set for the material in Material Master record as CC indicator in plant view data.
o With this Cycle Counting Method of Physical Inventory allows fast-moving items to be counted more frequently than slow-moving items.
    4. Inventory Sampling
o Randomly selected stocks of the company are physically counted on the balance sheet key date.
o If found not much variance between the counted stock and the book book stock, it is presumed that the book inventory balances for the other stocks are correct.
    Physical Inventory Process Cycle Flow
    1. Creation of physical inventory document
    - Physical inventory document(s) is created individually or using the batch program, click for more information
    - The transaction codes for creation physical inventory are as follow
    Individual Inventory documentation creation
MI01 - Individual physical inventory creation
MIS1 - Inventory Sampling document creation
MICN - Cycle count inventory document creation
    Collective Inventory document creation
MI31 - Own stock without special stock
    MIK1 - Vendor consignment
    MIQ1 - Project stock
    MIM1 - Returnable Transpiration material
    MIW1 - Customer Consignment stock
MIV1 - Returnable material with customer
MIO1 - Material provided to Vendor (Subcontracting material)
    2. Print physical inventory document
    - Physical Inventory document can be printed based on the physical inventory document status and or item status
    - Transaction code MI21 is used to print the inventory document where print default value can be populated
    3. Count the physical stock
    - Based on the inventory document printout, the warehouse person will check the stock of material physically and note that on print out. This is completely physical process.
    4. Enter count in system
    - On completion of physical count, the count result is needs to be entered in the system. This can be with reference (using Tcode MI04) or without reference (using Tcode MI04) to the physical inventory document.
    - If count quantity for that material is ZERO then select ZC (zero count) column instead of putting 0 in qty field. If 0 is used for zero count then systm will consider that as "not counted"
    5. Analyze difference
    - Once count is posted in the system, difference analysis can be carried out using transaction MI20
    - The output gives information based on the input criteria i.e. physical inventory document, plant, material etc.
    - The output gives information about the book quantity, Counted quantity, difference in quantity and value.
    - From this output list, you can carry out further process ie initiate recount, change count quantity, post difference
    6. Initiate recount and follow the steps 3,4,5
    - If found unacceptable difference, recount is initiated using directly from difference analysis list (transaction code MI20) or using transaction code MI11.
    - New inventory document will be created for selected items or for entire document
    - The original document items will be deactivated once recount is initiated so original document will not be available for further process.
    - On initiating recount, you need to process same as for new count document.
    7. Post the difference
    - Several options are available for posting difference
    - Post difference after count is posted using transaction code MI07
    - Posting the count and inventory differences using transaction code MI08, here you have created physical inventory but not counted so with this you can count and post difference in sinle step.
    - Entering the count without a document reference using trasnaction code MI10, with this you can create inventory document, enter the count and post difference in single step.
some more points for posting difference
    - Posting period must be open to post inventory difference.
    - The fiscal year is set by specifying a planned count date when creating a physical inventory document.
    - Tolerence to crear difference per user group can be set in customization.
    - The system will generate material document for the difference qty and post the value to appropriate account (for valuated stock)
    - The movement type in material document will be 701 or 702 based on gain or loss of material.
    Serial Numbers in Physical Inventory
If material is managed with serial number then it is possible to carry out physical inventory for material with serial number. There are some pre-requisite before you carry out physical inventory for serialized materials.
    - Serial number profile must be maintained in the material master.
    - the serialization procedure MMSL (maintaining goods receipt and goods issue documents) has to be assigned to serial number profile.
    - The stock check indicator in the serial number profile should be configured.
    - Maintain basic settings for the serial numbers in customization for Serial Number Profile.
    - Configure serial number management for physical inventory in the Settings for Physical Inventory step in Customizing for Inventory Management.
Blocked Stock Returns are the stock which is return stock from Customer or the stock which can be return back to vendor. To restrict the usage of this stock mostly business do transfer posting for this mateial as BLOCKED stock
    Thanks & Rgds,
    Rajesh

  • How to make stock zero

    HI,
qty 10 exists in sales order stock (which is moved from unrestricted stock to sales order stock using mov type 412-E in MB1B)
    case1
How to make this sales order stock  10 as zero.
    case 2
suppose if stock in unrestricted stock in 100
how to make stock in unrestricted stock as zero
    Pl suggest

    hi guys:
I have a similar query, Is there any possible way to scrap the sale order stock in quality inspection without transferring it to the unrestricted stock and that also through inventory count(mi01,04,07),
Actually we have damage lighting stock which is received against sale order(automatically transferred to quality inspection), and customers are replaced with new units, then this stock is called back in head office, for this we have a complicated process in use, first  this stock is scraped from suppose "a" storage location after transferring it to unrestricted, then loaded back to "a", to make an STR for it from Head Office.
So is there any way to scrap all special stock(complete storage location) against different sale orders at one go. whether the stock is available in unrestricted, quality inspection or blocked stock.
    I hope I am understood.
Please help me to get through this complicated process.
    Regards

  • Upgraded to 10, How to move from HDD to SSD? (Y-Series Laptop)

Howdy all, I have a Lenovo Y Series Laptop that came with a combo HDD/SSD. I assumed that Windows would be installed on the SSD, leaving the HDD for everything else. Turns out this isn't the case. The SSD is currently at 22.6g free of 24.9, and I'm honestly not sure if it's a totally separate drive, or if it's integrated into the HDD somehow.. I am trying to figure out how to move windows onto the SSD potion of the hard drive, but just want to make sure I'm not forgetting something. I assume I'll have to:Backup any files I want to keep (there are none, just applications I can get again after)Make a Windows 10 Boot Drive on a USBReformat SSDBoot from the USBPerform clean install of Windows 10 on SSD(possible step here of backing up lenovo software?)Reformat HDDRe-install all apps + programsAre there any Particular things that I need to make sure of for Windows 10?Am I forgetting anything? Is this a terrible idea?Is this totally not how my particular hard drive works? Is there a waaaay easier way to do this without possibly destroying everything? Lastly I want to make sure that the Lenovo software stays on the laptop, I assume it'll all go bye-bye if I do a clean install. I tried this once years ago and ended up making the Fn keys stop working, the fan and temperature control goofy, and I think it may even have been haunted.. Any advice or known disastrous things to avoid would be super helpful.

    hi Trosh,
    Welcome to the Forums.
Using the parts lookup page to check the hard drive specs on models 80FA002CUS and 80FA002DUS, those machines are configured with an SSHD (1TB HDD with a built-in 8GB SSD cache).
The 22.6 GB free of 24.9 GB that you're seing is likely the D:\  drive, which is a partition of the 1TB HDD (you can verify this by opening up Disk Management)
As for upgrading to Windows 10:
    1. Ensure that you have a backup copy of your files before upgrading and create a recovery drive just in case.
    2. Before you can clean install Windows 10, you will need to upgrade your current installation (e.g., Windows 8.1) first to Windows 10 and activate. Once this is done, you can proceed in doing a clean install. If you proceed in doing a clean install on first attempt, you may not be able to activate Windows.
You can read more in this article:
How to Activate and resolve common Product key issues in Windows 10
Note that doing a clean install will definitely remove all preloaded apps and drivers, thus, you will need to reinstall them back (some proprietary preloaded apps though doesn't have an Installer due to license limitation)
    3. After upgrading Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, some preloaded apps and drivers may have limited functionality or may not work at all. Thus, you will need to update to the latest Windows 10 drivers (if available).
    More info here:
    https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103611
    4. In case you get issues with the upgrade, you can always refresh Windows 10 or go back to the previous Windows build or by doing a system recovery then re-upgrade.
     - Refresh Windows 10
     - Windows 10 - Go Back to Previous Win1dows
     - Link to picture (select System Recovery)
    5. If you're leaning towards an SSD upgrade (e.g., 256GB or 500GB), you will need to migrate the OS from the SSHD to the SSD and upgrade to Windows 10. If you have already originally upgraded though on the stock drive, you can clean install Windows on the new SSD.
More info before upgrading to Windows 10:
    Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation
Hope the info above answers your questions.

  • MCHB,MARD - Stock available at plant level and storage location level

    Hi ,
How to determine how much stock available at Storage location level and Plant level. (Lot is not maintained).
In MCHB-Stock at lot level is shown.
In MARD-Stock at Storage Location level is shown lncluding
the stock maintaned at the lot level.
If i want to know the stock which is not maintained in Lot, i.e, Stocks directly maintained at Storage location / Plant.
Do I need to subtract the MCHB Value from MARD Value ?
Is there any other way available to find the stocks which is not maintained at lot level.
    Regards
    Prasath

    Hi prashant,
What do u mean by stock maintained at SL level without batch level.  Do u mean that some materials are subjected to batch management and some or not?
If that is the case, for all batch managed materials, u can see the stock at batch level and also same is summed up at SL level.  But still what ever u are getting from MARD table isstock at SL level only.
If u have activated batch management for any material, it will always be shown at lot level also.
    hope this clarfifies query
    award points if found useful
