WM Picking Qty more that Delivery Qty

Hi Folks,
I have a case as below.
Sales Order Qty - 100 CS
OBD Qty - 100 CS
Picked Qty in OBD - 120 CS.
WM Picking was done for excess Qty of 20 CS in the same Transfer Order (which was created against the delivery).
I tried to test the issue in Quality Client but there I recieved an Error "Total for assigned quantities exceeds quantity to be removed" .
I really don't understand why system allowd the picking of quantity more than delivery quantity in Production Client.
Any guesses pls.

Change to 1, copy WM qty as delivery qty and do the cycle in Quality.
Surely it will work.

Fully stock removal requirement active and
Return stock to the same storage bin

first up, appreciate if you can use your real name instead of DNR , I'd love to see your actual name.
Coming to the question, a deliery can be created more than the ordered quantity. And if you pick whats delivered - that can show as confirmed too..
Standard SAP just throws a warning indicating this over delivery. And incase you want to prevent this happening - you can trigger an user exit to change this warning to error.
Config is also possbile if you have setup your cust mat info record or sales order to check over delivery and set the item cateogry for delivery. You can go to t.code 0VLP( Zero VLP) select Over Delivery - 'B' for delivery item category.

GR Qty more than Delivery Qty in Production Order

Hi
there are a amazing Production order that GR Qty more than Delivery Qty of finished goods in this production order.
there are some data in this production order as below:
Order Qty = 2680
Delivery Qty = 2680
Tolerance = 0
However, to my surprise, Material documents list there are 3500 Qty has been received related this production order. I have check all material documents related this production order. the total GR Qty is 3500 more than 2680.
I know when I do GR for this production order if Total GR Qty exceed Order Qty, So, SAP will not allow me to do. because the Tolerance = 0.
Anybody can tell me, how to deal with this error?

Hi Henry,
If you do not want to restrict the quantities while confirmation, make the changes as required.
Related to Material master, work scheduling view the under/over delivery tolerance should be zero and unlimited delivery tick should not be active
While creation of production order (if manually created) under delivery or over delivery tolerance should be zero and unlimited delivery tick should not be active.
regarding configuration, in OPK4 for plant and order type the following confirmation parameters are to be maintained

Picking qty less than Delivery qty alert - Urg

Hi Guys,
We have done a configuration for order to cash scenario on ECC6.0 now we have one requirement that if picking quantity less than delivery quantity it should send an alert to customer representative.
I have few questions below before start up configuration for that process.
1. How do i configure to the system to send an alert when there is short pick in delivery document?
2. When customer representative receives the notification he or she make the necessary changes manually change in delivery document of delivery qty to picking qty.
3. How do i say the logic to ABAPer to do a coding, I think there is no standard configuration to do that or if it is please write back to me.
I posted few questions but none of the questions answered to me.
Please go through and reply me back... Urgent.

Error Message when delivery qty more then po qty in MV50AFZ1

I gt a requirement that while creating deliveries in vl02n
if delivery quantity greater then po qty it should through error
but i have alredy done coding in mv50afz1 user exit its working fine. My problem is if delivery no is differnt for the po no.
it is not giving error because delivery quantity is less for differnt deliveries .
this is the code i have written,
data : v_menge type ekpo-menge,
Getting Quantity from ekpo Table
select single menge
              into v_menge from ekpo
              where ebeln = lips-vgbel
              and ebelp = lips-vgpos.

Cheking the Condition for Delivery Type

Cheking Condition if Delivery Quntity More than Po Quantity
    if v_menge < lips-lfimg.
     message e002(zt) with 'Delivery Qty Cannot be Greater than PO Qty'.

but if multiple deliveries it is not working.

First u have to find all deliveries againegt PO Item (material). find out total deleviry qty + present delivery qty.
than check with PO qty ..

Pick qty copied to delivery qty without creating TO.

I have this issue, can some one help me out?
We have Lean warehouse managemant configured.
While I'm creating a delivery using VL10C, delivery is created subsequently the delivery qty is copied to Pick qty, whick disables my TO creation using VL06O Picking.
Due to this filling of picking qty in delivery, the requirment is satisfied to trigger the TO during TO creation.

Yes, I got to resolve this issue by myself.
The problem is in the Transfer order Output condition type. I had dispatch time 4 - Send immediately assigned to the output condition record. This forces the TO order to be created immediately.
As a rule to create TO the Pick qty field in delivery document has to be filled in with the delivery qty. Hence the delivery qty has copied into the pick qty field.
I changed this dispatch time to 3 and now it works fine.

A/R Invoice Qty Greater than Delivery Qty

Can I post A/R Invoice with the qty greater than the Delivery Qty????
I came across a case where I have a delivery Document of 10Kgs But Qty changes to 10.5Kgs at the time of A/R Invoice posting.
Is there any std feature available of we need to do any work around. Pls suggest.

Then the way is clear.
You can manully edit the Qty at AR invoice row level.
try this in Test DB first whether your effect goes right or not.
But as per my knowledge it goes perfectly even if you edit.
It will increase your stock by 0.5 kg from GRPO stock.......

Requirement Qty more than BOM Qty

Hi,
I have a scenario, in my Component Overview of Prodn Order, Requirement Qty of Components in Prodn Order is Different than BOM Qty.
I checked the exploded Qty in CS11, CS12 and CS13. But the Reqt Qty vary with BOM Qty.
Note: No Scrap is maintained
Please guide.

1. surely there is a mistake happening at your end.
2. System is robustic on this kind of transactions
Check the below items
1. if any scrap has been maintained at the assembly level for the header material in the material master
2. If any scrap has been maintained for the materail at the BOM item level.
3. check if the unit of measure is same and any relationship is maintained.
4. Also do re-xplode your CS11 and check if it works fine as per your expectation..if it is giving any issue in the production order , it should also give the same here..

Invoice qty is more then gr qty

as in sap docs maintained that if we tick gr based inv verification then system will not accept invoice qty more then gr qty, but in my company accepting, it gives only warning message, is there any system message?

Delivery Qty should not be greater then po qty

my problem is they are rising mulitiple devliveries for one PO
Code written in MV50AFZ1 is not working because it is checking only if Delivery Qty more then PO qty, I tries to sum qty from LIPS table using VBGLN Cust po no but VBGLN is non key field in LIPS table. It is giving perfomance problem.
Please suggest if any other tables to SUM the delivery quantity.

VBEP-VBELN = sales order number.
VBEP-EDATU = schedule line date.

IN MY SO I PUT 100 QTY AND IN DELIVERY (VL01N) I SELECT PICKING QTY AS 150 IN THIS CASE SYSTEM ALLOWS TO DELIVER MORE QTY THEN SO. I NEED TO RESTIRCT THIS PL. GIVE SUGGESTION ON THE SAME. In the item shipping tab of sales order, there is a field "Delivery
torlarance", you could set the overdelivery torlarance percentage
according to your requirement.(if it is blank, system would treat it
as 0)
Then in the customizing of delivery item category(Tr-cd: 0VLP),
there is a field "Check overdelivery", you could set it to A or B
to control system issing warning or error message if user carries out
overdelivery.

How to update picked qty as delivery qty while creating outbound delivery

I am using badi definition LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC to update delivery qty as picked qty at the time of creating delivery. By using method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE I am populating delivery qt(yCT_XLIPS- G_LFIMG) to picked qty(CT_XLIPS[1]-PIKMG). and i am also populating update flag as 'I'. after saving the delivery document i am not able to update picked qty which was populated in BADI. could you please suggest anything needs to care. thanks in advance.

I did a little test and, within the method CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM, itu2019s possible to fill the picking quantity (structure CS_LIPSD) but unfortunately during the save the added information is lost.
This is because the BAdI method is fired too soon and the routine PICKMENGE_BEARBEITEN (SAPFV50P) is not called at all.
The problem is quite complex; even after changing the picking quantities, the picking status still remains open!
The picked quantity is generally filled:
u2022     by printing the picking list
u2022     Warehouse Management by creating a transfer order
u2022     or by manual entry
Otherwise, it is assumed that picking has not yet been initiated and the result is that picked quantity is ignored.
In my opinion itu2019s very difficult to solve your problem using only the BAdI implementation.
I suggest you to propose an alternative solution such as the automatic processing of Picking Output EK00; easy to activate and absolutely standard!!!!!!
