WM* queues in SMQ1

Hi experts -
We are seeing multiple entries in SMQ1 in our ERP system that have destination "NONE". These queue names all start with "WMIMA'....
I know we are not using these queues, and I would like to deactivate them from queueing up. Can anyone provide any advice as to how to do so?

I need some information of how SMQ1 works, in general business(Functional words).
SMQ1 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue and restart any hanging queues manually.
· SMQ2 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the inbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue.
If anyone could explain in general words with complete business scenario would be great help, and If anyone could give it with Inventory Datasources? With the answer to abby's question would be appreciable.

Deleting Outbound Queues in SMQ1

Dear Experts,
System landscape: ECC 6.0, SRM 5.0
I started intial load using DNL_CUST_PROD1 in R3AS and my outbound queue in SMQ1 (ECC) contained an SYSFAIL status. So I would like restart the initial load again from SRM.
Can you please let me know if I need to delete this outbound queue or resetting the status to READY is enough.
If I need to delete the queue, can you please let me know how to delete this outbound queue.

Hi Bob,
I'm not sure if I completely understand your question.
You can delete the outbound queue and start the initial load again. In order to do so, just select the queue (click on it once) and then select the trash can icon on the top left side. Or else you can just right click on the queue and select the "Delete" option.

Struck up with R3AD_* Queues in SMQ1(Outbound Queue in ECC Side)

Hi ,
I am using CRM Middleware for replicating business partner(BP) from CRM to ECC
and material from ECC to CRM.
BP and Materials are replicating well.
My Issue is,
while checking queues in SMQ1 (Outbound Queue in ECC Side), i am getting many queues are pending also
status as "SYSFAIL".
QUEUE Names are R3AD_000000123,R3AD_000000139,R3AD_000000141... R3AD_*,etc..
I tried to unlock the queues and activated, afterthat also queue status is "SYSFAIL". Then i checked in CRM side

BDOC Details:
BDOC State Description: Information no processing.
BDOC Type :BUS_TRANS_MSG.
ERROR Message:
a.Processing of document with GUID 4E57E4A5108162A7E10000000A0BE02A is canceled.

I guess the destination NONE means it will process the function module which it is using in local SAP system .
so please check them before deleting

How to process open queues in SMQ1

Hi,
We are trying to install newest patches for plugins. At the checks before the actual upgrade we get a message OPEN DATA EXTRACTION REQUESTS. I need to procees this request from YRD. But when i run the transaction RSA7 I dont find any queues.Also when i run the transaction LBWQ, I dont find any queues.
But when i run the transaction SMQ1, for the conditions (client = '', queue name 'MCEX'), i get 6 queues.
Now do i need to process this queues so that after upgrade data wont be lost. Or what can be impact if i delete it from SMQ1. Even though its DEV but we prefer to process this requests.
Please let me know detail steps to carry out this procedure. (I am Fresher to BW)

You have to pass data from mcex queues to BW delta queues (using corresponding report for each one, surely named as RMBWV3xx) and load to bw all delta queues.

Unprocessed Outbound Queues on SMQ1 with Status NOSEND...

Dear Experts,
We have following 4 Queues which have NOSEND status:
BW0110BPARTNER_ATTR
BW0110BPARTNER_TEXT
BW0110BP_DEF_ADDRESS__A1
BW0110CRM_SALES_ACT_1
I cannot unlock this and activate these as the system displays message: LUWs in status NOSEND must be picked up by the application.
I need your help to know how to process these queues.

Hi Murugesh,
The four queues that you have mentioned are BW specific queues. These cannot be unlocked or activated from the CRM system. For BW queues in CRM, it has to be processed or called from the BW system. BW queues will always be in status 'No Send' in the crm system unless and until it is called by the BW system.

WFM_CORE2PUBLISH Queue in SMQ1 of CRM with destination NONE

In the Outbound queue of CRM, I can see the queue "WFM_CORE2PUBLISH" with destination as "NONE" & status as "READY".

WFM_CORE2PUBLISH queue is required to publish WFM server data (like
assignments, requirements, resources, time specifications) to groupware.
Settings for this can be maintained at below customizing path:
"SPRO => SAP Customizing Implementation Guide => Customer Relationship
Management => Workforce Deployment => WFD Server => WFM Event Handler =>
Specify Event Handling for WFD Objects"
If you do not have groupware integration then remove the groupware
relevant settings from this customizing.
If you do need these queues, then please register the queue name in SMQR; htne it will process automatically rather than remaning in status Ready.

How to get back Queue name in SMQ1 when Data source is present in RSA7

Its very urgent issue.Please provide me your valuable solutions.
1) I have Queue name in SMQ1 and Data source name in RSA7 are present for particular Data source in CRM source system. I deleted Queues in SMQ1 and they present in RSA7 so whenever I do changes in Data source record that changes i can see in RSA3 and DB table but I can't able to see that changes in RSA7.
2) That Data source is Delta enabled and Initialization also set for that.
3) when i do delta scheduling no records are coming in BI side.
Please tell me how can i get back my Queue in SMQ1 and get changes reflects in RSA7 data source also.

Deleting an outbound queue SMQ1

HI,
Can you please verify, is it ok to delete an outbound queue in smq1? The situation is, we have tried a delta load but we already aborted it since it is not needed anymore. But when we check on smq1, the queue is still there and it's status is running (transaction executing). What will happen if that queue will be deleted? will it cause data lost? Please help. Thanks!

Hello Mike,
This shouldn't be a problem. And there won't be any data loss. however you might see additional table entries in your CRM or ECC(depending on what was the destination) for the LUWs that were already processed in your delta load.

SMQ1 deletion problem too much time larger queue

Hi Experts
We have to delete Queues from SMQ1, the problem is the data volume is huge in queues and system is taking too much time to delete these queues.
To delete 122000 records it took 4 hours to delete the queue from SMQ1.
Problem is we have to delete total of 51,48,000 records in total and one queue has huge data that is 26,10,000.
Is there any solution to fasten the process of deletion or any work around SMQ1 to delete the queues faster.
We are deleting queues in live system I mean the production system is up and running.

Hi Navnet,
Use the report RSTRFCQDS to delete the particular queue of SMQ1.
The report should check the inconsistencies between the tables:
TRFCQOUT, ARFCSSTATE, QREFTID and ARFCSDATA, therefore it will take time.
The fastest way to delete them is: you use a sql tool to delete all the entries in TRFCQOUT, ARFCSSATE, QREFTID and ARFCSDATA. In this case, you also delete the entries in SM58 (tRFC).

Extraction Queue - SMQ1 - entries..

HI All,
We are running some data loads from source SRM to BI .
We have a Strange Issue:
Without triggering process chains or Infopack groups in BI side, Extraction queues (SMQ1 TRFCs ) are filled automatically with some entries. It will causes the SRM loads in a very slow manner.
Question is :
Why Extraction queues are filled in source sys - SRM without running Infopack /Process chain?
Is there any Background program running in SRM side?
What is the data flow behaviour in BI?
How to resolve this Issue?.
And mainly please let me know the reason? This is an urgent issue.

Hi,
can you check to which extractor the queue belongs and if somebody has performed a delta init for it.
As soon as you have a delta init, but do not fetch the delta, the queue will start growing. You either have to delete the delta init or schedule the delta load.

Queue status no send or waitupda in SMQ1

Now our BW system can not do delta upload usually.I find some queue status nosend or waitupda in SMQ1 in source system(CRM). How to make them work usually? Can you give me some advices?

Also check for the following:
1. The delta should have been initialized successfully.

   In Transaction SMQ1 if there are Queues existing with

Solutions
Question 1 : The Extraction from CRM to BW takes a very long time. What can be done? (Performance Issues)
Suggestion 1: Please implement notes 653645 (Collective note) and
639072(Parallel Processing).
The performance could be slow because of the wrong control parameters
used for packaging.
You can change the package size for the data extraction.
Also note that changing the package size in the transaction SBIW
would imply a change for all the extractors. Instead, you could
follow the path in the bw system.
Infopackage (scheduler)    > Menu 'Scheduler'   > 'DataS. default data
transfer'   > maintain the value as 1500 or 1000(This value is variable)
The package size depends on the Resources available at the customer side
(The no of parallel processes that could be assigned =
1.5 times the no of CPU's available approx.)
Question 2 : On executing transaction RSA3 I get records but I find 0
records when I load data from BW request.(No Data Available)
Suggestion 2: First check if there are any entries in the table
CRMD_ORDER_INDEX.Only if there are entries in this table you can
extract records.
If this is not the case then,
It is possible that the user does not have sufficient
authorities for extraction of the relevant objects.

   infosource   > right mouse click on the selected
   infosource   > choose option replicate datasource
    Activate the infosource.
6. Go to the scheduler for the infosource   > select delta in the
    update >choose the option PSA only (in the Processing tab)
    > start immediately
Check the entry in the RSA7 in the OLTP(CRM system)
Question 4: How can I extract the fields, which are not provided in the standard data source extraction .
Suggestion 4: Follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include
   an append structure to the extract structure via transaction RSA6).
2.a) Release the fields of the append for usage. ( To do this, double
   click on the Datasource and remove the flags in the column 'Hide
   Field' for all fields of Append. )
2.b)If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of
    the transaction BWA1 then change and save the datasource, and then
    activate it in RSA6.
3. Define your mappings in BADI (CRM_BWA_MFLOW) to fill these fields.
Goto SPRO .
Follow the path ->
SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->
Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse->
Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->
Settings for BW adapter->
Badi :BW adapter :Enhancement of datasources in messaging flow.
4. Replicate the new Datasource to BW.
5. Expand the Communication Structure in BW.
6. Maintain transfer Rules for the new Datasource.
7. Activate the trasfer rules and perform the upload.
Question 5: I am unable to extract user status correctly.What should I
do?

the IMG maintenance 'SAP Reference IMG -> Settings for SAP Business
Information Warehouse -> Activate BW Adapter Meta Data'. For more
information, see the documentation on the IMG activity 'Activate BW
Adapter Meta Data'. (Note 432485)
Question 9: I donot get any records for the delta upload of my attribute
datasource(s).What is to be done?
Suggestion 9: In case of attribute datasources, it is possible that the
entry for the GUID is missing in the table SMOXAFLD.
If , for example the datasource 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR is not giving deltas
then you can follow the steps:
1)If Delta process is active for the attribute datasource e.g.
     0CRM_OPPT_ATTR, then stop the delta process in the BW
     system
2) In the CRM system, Make the entry in the table SMOXAFLD
   for the datasource with the Key
   as 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR     GUID 3) Save the entry.Activate the datasource                           4) Check that the above entry is replicated in smoxafld_s also    after this.               5) Create a transport request manually for the following    object             R3TR   SMO4   0CRM_OPPT_ATTR
Question 10: What do the status BWSTONESYS0 , BWSTONEUSS0,BWSTTECSYS0 and various other BW status mean ?
Suggestion 10: The BW status are used to extract system and user defined
status.
The BW status are defined in the customization settings in SPRO.
Check for-> Status Concept for BP/Product/CRM objects
Here goto-> Process user status You will find the documentation attached here for the user status. Going inside the transaction you will find the status groups USS0, ZIOP,ZMOP etc. The names of the various BW status are derived from this For ex. BW + ST+ One + USS0 gives the name of the field BWSTONEUSS0 or BWST + ONE + ZMOP = BWSTONEZMOP (Master opportunity values) (which means BWST + (status group name) + status object group name) Double clicking on any of the object groups will take you to the values that these status can have . For ex. BWSTONEUSS0 in your system can have values E001 ,E002,E003,E007 which will be shown in RSA3 as BW status values 1,2,3,7, respectively.
Similarly we have Goto -> Process system status (in SPRO). Here you can get the values for the system status in exactly the same way as BWSTONESYS0(Lifecycle status) , BWSTTECSYS2 (Error) etc. In RSA3 you get the names as BW status, To know which corresponds to which status here,Goto the record list in RSA3 . Here goto Settings - Layout -Current . Right click -> Press Show technical field names . You will be able to see the BW status names and will be able to adjust the layout accordingly.

Smq1 stuck queue

Hello,
we are running sap R3 enterprise which is connected to a crm 5.0 system.every day there are stuck queues in smq1 on status stop.
the stuck objects are - MASS_CRM_, R3AD_.
untill they are released manually, other objects and data which suppose
to be downloaded to the crm system , are stuck
pressing on the stop error gives the following message - Set by Host
name: saptst1; Transaction: ; Report:SAPMSSY1
it appears to be that the queue is stuck when there is massive data
download/transfer from the R3 to the CRM system
in our development system we didn't encounter such a problem - the main
difference is that in the development systems (R3 to CRM) only delta
load is transfered - not massive data like in the test systems

This happend because , you might be having a request download which is running . Generally when request load happens , all the delata queus will be stopped in SMQ1 of R/3. This is standard procedure. So Pls check if there is any rquest load is happening at that time. One it is down the system will automatically delte the stop and the delta will continue.
Note: When do a request dowloand and if it stopped by some reason manually, than we need to unlock/delete the stop in SMQ1(R/3) Manually.

CRM 5.0 outbound queues to Mobile sales

Hi all,
We have upgraded from CRM 3.0 to CRM 5.0.
I am looking at the outbound queues in SMQ1 that are bound to Mobile sales Sites and am not finding any data bundles other than the name of the Replication Object name in the LUW's of these queues.
But in CRM 3.0 I am able to see detailed data bundles for any of the queues.
Does this mean no data is actually being passed from CRM to Mobile Sales.
At this point of time I dont have my commstation up and running to verify this. So I am curious to know how else can I check this?

This is the default behaviour in 5.0...the queues are fine and you can go ahead with the sync using Conntrans.

Large number of entries in Queue BW0010EC_PCA_1

Dear BW experts,
Our BW system 2004s is extracting data from R3 700. I am a Basis guy and observing large number of entries in SMQ1 in R3 system under Queue BW0010EC_PCA_1. I observe in RSA7 similar number of entries for 0EC_PCA_1.
The number of entries for this queue in SMQ1 everyday are 50000+. The extraction job in BW is running everyday 5:00AM morning in BW but this only clears data which is lying before 2 days (Example on 10.09.2010, it will extract data of 08.09.2010)
My questions
1. Is it ok that such large number of entries lying in queue in SMQ1 and they are extracted once a day by a batch job.Then there is no mean of schedular pushing this entries.
2. Any idea why extraction job only fetches data of 2 days before.any setting somewhere missing.

The entries lying in RSA7 and SMQ1 are one and the same. In SMQ1, BW0010EC_PCA_1 entry means that this data is lying to be sent across to you BW001 client system. Whereas in RSA7, same data is displayed as 0EC_PCA_1.

As I can understand from the data thats lying in your R/3 system in SMQ1, this datasource has delta mode as Direct Delta. SAP recommends that if the number of postings for a particular application is greater than 100000 per day, you should have delta mode as Queued Delta. Since in your system it is in some thousands, therefore BI guys would have kept it as direct delta. So, these entries lying in SMQ1 are not problem at all. As for scheduler from BI, it will pick up these entries every morning to clear the queue for the previous data.
2. Any idea why extraction job only fetches data of 2 days before.any setting somewhere missing.
I dont think that it is only fetching the data for 2 days before. The delta concept works in such a manner that once you have pulled the delta load from RSA7, this data would still be lying there under Repeat delta section until the next delta load has finished successfully.
Since in your system, data is pulled only once a day, therefore even though your today's dataload has pulled yesterday's data, it would still be lying in the system till tomorrow's delta load from RSA7 is successful.
