Wo bleibt die SMS-Unterstützung in Access Connections

Ich weis, viele haben es schon aufgegeben.
Ich noch nicht, die Benutzung der Software des WanCard-Herstellers zeigt das es geht, nur würfelt diese mir ACC so durcheinander dass ein Neustart notwendig ist.
Ohne ACC geht es leider nicht.

X61-Tablett 64bit mit Windows 7;
MC8775 WWAN-Card;
Vodafone D2 Datenkarte

AOP5 und DT_LONGLONG Unterstützung

Hallo,
wie sieht es eigentlich beim AOP5 Plugin mit der Unterstützung von DT_LONGLONG aus?
Wenn ich versuche einen Kanal mit DT_LONGLONG Werten ins Datenportal zu laden, bekomme ich keine vernünftigen Werte zurück. Die entsprechenden Daten mit Hilfe einer ATFX-Datei zu laden funktioniert ja richtig, nur direkt vom ODS Server nicht.

Lightroom CC - GPU Unterstützung geht nicht

Hallo, in Lighroom CC ist zwar automatisch der Haken GPU Unterstützung aktiv, aber darunter der Fehler, das diese deaktiviert wurde.
Ich habe eine Sapphire AMD Radeon HD6870, unterstützt laut Webseite OpenCL 4.1. Sollte also komaptibel sein.
Wenn ich auf die Systeminfos unter Leistung klicke, zeigt mir LR CC bei OpenCL - "Failed" an.
Treiber habe ich die letzen stabilen verwendet, wie auch die aktuellen Beta. Mit keinen geht es.
Woran kann das liegen? Was kann ich tun? Oder brauch ich schon ein Update für LR CC

I would recommend performing the following steps in order to stabilize your iPhone.
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Access Connection SMS Menu disappeared!!!!

I have a T61p, a T400 and a T410 and all 3 of them running w7 Access Connections 5.61 and same problem the sms menu does not show up. I managed to solve the problem on my T61 with the Sierra Manager software which can handle the internal WWAN Sierra card, but for the other 2 which have the Ericsson F3507g nothing can be done as the Sony Ericsson Software does not recognize the WWAN Card!!!
Unfortunately my mobile operator requires me to send an SMS prior to connect 3G so I basically need to take he SIM out use a phone send the SMS, and stick it back in the laptop.
Anyone know which version of access connection has sms still working? for W7? where to download?
Lenovo hope you read this forum, getting a lot of people with the same issue...

... all translated from my german version.
power manager: 3.20
driver version: where do i find this?
hotkey utility: not installed? ... i can't find it (but all lenovo buttons work fine)
system interface driver: ... again, where do i find it?

Access Connections startet nicht

Ich habe einen T400s . Der Rechner wurde nachträglich mit mit Windows 7 Professional bespielt ohne die Thinkvantage Tools. Habe jetzt Access Connections installiert und den Admin Enabler ausgeführt. Beim Aufruf von Access Connections erscheint das StartUp-Fenster, danach bleibt der Prozess hängen. Klickt man auf das Fenster, dann verschwindet es, der Prozess läuft aber weiter. Weiß jemand Rat ?

Niemand eine Idee woran es liegen könnte ??

Hi all, i have a problem with a silent installation of Access Connection 5.02 on Windows Vista Sp1 X86.
I took the setup.exe -S -SMS command, but it always popups the installer window :-(
Has anyone an idea or is the command wrong ?

There seems to be problems iwth AC 5.02...the GUI acts strange, error messages when resuming from sleep, lost connections. Some users have had problems on XP and i Have had problems on Vista Home Premium on a T60. There are many recent threads on AC 5.02's problem. All the problems go away when reloading AC 4.52.
Would it be possible for Lenovo to correct these problems and the ones in this thread with a new version of AC?

Access Connections v4.52 - user rights in locked down environment

I'm currently working on a small project to deploy various Lenovo wireless drivers, Access Connections v4.52, Hotkey and Power Management drivers via SMS but have come across a slight issue with Access Connections that I can't seem to resolve.
I'm hoping to provide my locked down users with a selection of standard profiles that are copied to their machines on logon but would also like to give them the ability to create and modify new ones too - this is where I'm having problems.
Through Group Policy I have set:
Allow Windows users without administrator privileges to create and apply WLAN location profiles using Find Wireless Network function
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Lenovo\AccessConnection\EnableCreateProfilewithFWN 1
Allow Windows users without administrator privileges to create and apply location profiles
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Lenovo\AccessConnection\EnableUserMode 1
I have also manually set the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\Access Connections\Install\AllowPrfCreationThruFWN 1
I couldn't find a key for the 'EnableUserMode' option
Unfortunately, none of these give standard users access to create or modify profiles.
Have any of you come across this in your environment and if so did you manage to come up with a suitable solution?

the steps, that you performed are correct.
However I would not do the last step:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo\Access Connections\Install\AllowPrfCreationThruFWN 1
This might cause confusiong.
I have just tested it in here and it's working fine with the 5.x version of AC

Hello,
      AC used to have iPass integration under the "Services" menu item - however AC 5.21 no longer seems to have this functionality (although the help still mentions it)
      I would like to have iPass and AC play nicely, so have I missed something, or has the integration died in its infancy?

wir haben ca. 40 Thinkpad T420 im Unternehmen. Diese sind alle im Aussendienst unterwegs und unsere Mitarbeiter nutzen UMTS-Karten um sich mit dem Firmennetzwerk verbinden zu können.
Leider erhalten wir seit wir die Lenovo-Notebooks nutzen vermehrt die Meldung, dass die Notebooks nicht automatisch von einer schlechten HSDPA-Verbindung runterschalten auf Edge.
Häufig ist es so, dass zwar eine HSDPA-Verbindung erkannt wird, eine Datenübermittlung aber aufgrund des schlechten Empfangs fehlschlägt. Wünschenswert wäre es wenn Access Connections in diesem Fall automatisch auf Edge umschaltet.
Bei Notebooks anderer Hersteller haben wir diese Probleme nicht. Ich gehe deshalb davon aus, dass die Access Connections Software an der Stelle nicht richtig arbeiten kann.
Gibt es hierfür ggfs. eine Konfigurationsmöglichkeit die ich bisher übersehen habe?

Hi there, the 6120 does indeed support connections in HSDPA over a modem connection, the information on the Nokia site may have been relayed incorrectly or miss-read.
The 6120 has a maximum downlink speed of 3.6mbps therefore it should suffice for your use.
At this stage Nokia does not have any devices on the market that support 7.2mbps as yet. If you require speeds higher than 3.6mbps then I would suggest looking at getting a USB modem from your operator.
From what I can tell however the 6120 will be fine for your use.

Vista SP2 and Access connections requiring manual reconnect

Hi,
I'm experiencing a problem after the installation of Windows Vista SP2 on my Vista Business. After a reboot, I must always manually 1) disconnect the WLAN connection and then 2) reconnect to establish a working WLAN connection and to gain access to Internet. Before I disconnect, the WLAN connection is alive, but I cannot access any websites. Everything worked just fine before installation of SP2.

Does someone know how to solve this issue and make the connection to work without a manual disconnect -> reconnect step?

Access Connections and Tools won't install properly

I have followed advice uninstalled the wireless driver, access connections, hotkey, power manager. . Reinstalled all ( latest versions) except access connection. Wireless connections work correctly and all hot keys function appropriately ( including Fn +F5 ). Then I let TVSU download Access connections. An icon is placed in the task tray. Clicking on it nothing happens. Also none of the hot keys work including the blue ThinkVantage key. Once I uninstall Access connection I am back in business with the wireless connection and the hot keys working. ( for all these installs I turned off the Microsoft virus scanner and the firewall).
Have similar problem with ThinkVantage tools in that I get the Icon in the task tray and then the program freezes. No problem in reinstalling PC doctor5

I find lenovo drivers and software rather eccentric; since they need to be installed in a particular order to work properly.
First uninstall your wireless driver and access connections, thereafter reboot your system. Then install wireless driver first, again reboot, subsequently install access connections, reboot again.
Further this is the order in which the following drivers must be installed for each of them to function desirably:-
1) Lenovo PM driver
2) Lenovo System Interface Driver
3) Hotkey driver
4) Wireless driver software [reboot]
5) Access Connections [reboot]
