WOL Not working

Hi All,
I'm trying to get WOL to work on a number of computers at work. I've got it working with the windows PC's no problem but for some reason none of the Macs (mostly mac towers running 10.6 - 10.9) are responding to the magic packets at all.
I've turned on the "Wake on network access" option, ensured they are connected via ethernet and double checked the MAC address I have for them are correct before shutting down but nothing is happening.
The Magic Packet is definitely coming through as I've checked with packet sniffers when the towers are on.
Please, if anyone has any idea what I can do to get this work I'd really appreciate it, it's driving me crazy!

Hi,
I need to allow WOL packets through a Cisco 870W router. Its running IOS version 12.4(9)T
The WOL magic packet will be coming from VLAN1 (192.168.2.0/24) and going to FastEthernet4 (192.168.6.0/24).
The WOL application sends UDP packets on port 9
Here are the relevant running-config sections

WOL/Magic Packet Not working with new EA9200

I just replaced an Cisco E4200 with a LinkSys EA9200. I transfered all the port forwarding and other settings and everything appears to be working except that a desktop that is hard wire connected to the router no longer appears to be getting Magic Packets sent to it over the internet. The packet ispassed fine interenally. The computer is static mapped and I have double checked the port and addressing informatuion on the new EA9200 and it is all correct -- it is just not working. The EA9200 has the latest firmware.
Ideas?

I have experienced the same problem since updating to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard on my mid 2011 iMac. Tried taking out batteries, putting fresh fully charged ones back in and turning switch on underside of mouse on and off - does get connected eventually but because the pointer is inactive it is difficult to get it working.
Have found as a back up that a Microsoft wireless USB mouse works perfect - so this is my back up plan....sorry Apple!
Any bright ideas to rectify this annoying problem would be helpful. Always have the other contingency plan of using a wired mouse, but I find that the tracker ball gets clogged up.

T500 Wake on Lan (wireless) does not work.

I set up T500 (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit) for wake on lan,
1) Enable Bios WOL
2) Enable WOL in power manegement tab of Intel WiFi Link 5300 AGN property in device manager.
But WOL does not work. Sending magic packet from a PC in the same WiFi segment does not wake up sleeped T500.
Are there any setting for WOL in lenovo tools ?
Does anybody use WOL(WiFI) on T500?

Is the T500:
Associated with an access point at the time it is put into standby/sleep mode?
Connected to AC power for the whole time it is in standby/sleep mode (in otherwords the whole time it is in a low power state) when you are attempting to use WoWLAN?
If not, that may be at least part of your problem, as it is a known limitation on WoWLAN operation.
You also need to have the laptop "set up" to the master workstation, and the WLAN configured to handle braodcast wireless frame, but I am presuming you have already done that side of things.

Mac Mini Wake for Network Access Not working after upgrade

After upgrading to the latest OS (10.8) the WOL fuction is not work. This used to work before the release. i could see the Mac mini on my mac book pro even when it was asleep. Once I click on it under the shared resources area I could see the Mac wake up. Now as soon as it goes to sleep it drops from my mac book pro. I am connected via WIFI but also tried via LAN. Same result. Any ideas? Seems to be a bug as I google this issue it appears to be impacting many people.

Same issue here after updating my iMac to OS X 10.8. I can't use Logmein, wireless syncing to iTunes from my iOS devices, or my Logitech Server software for my Logitech Radio. Once the computer goes to sleep, it is invisible to the rest of the network. This all worked fine on 10.4-10.7. I have double-checked that Wake on Network Activity is turned on. I have disabled all networking interfaces except Ethernet. Nothing seems to help.

Satellite A110-228 LAN does not work after hibernate

Well, subject says it all, really. The LAN (wired) network does not work after hibernate.
It seems it cannot find the DHCP server, so after a while it gets a 169.* address.
After a reboot, the network functions as usual (gets a IP address from the DHCP server)
Tried the usual things, disconnecting the cable, disabling the LAN device, battery or AC adapter, the behavior is reproducible.
The wireless network will be restored after a hibernate.
It needs a little help though (right click on the icon and "recover" or whatever it is called in English)
Any suggestions?

Hi guys
In the Toshiba HW setup which is placed in the control panel the options Wake-up on LAN and Built-in LAN should be enabled.
I think the options are disabled by default.
Furthermore the default setting for Wake on Settings is OS controlled. To use the Wake-up on LAN function under power off mode, in the device driver for the network card under the menu point Wake On Settings the Value Wake on Magic & Directed must be set.
Please check this how to enable WOL (first time use):
1. Go to [Start] -> [Control Panel] -> [Toshiba HWSetup] -> [LAN] tab
2. Enable Wake-up on LAN
3. Click [Apply]. System will request to reboot.
4. After the reboot go to [Start] -> [Control Panel] -> select [System]
5. On system properties dialog box select [Hardware] tab -> click [Device manager]
6. On Device manager dialog box select [Networking adapters] -> double click [Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection]
7. Go to [Advanced] tab -> select [Wake On Settings] property -> Select [Wake on Magic & Directed]
8. Press [OK] to close the dialog box.

Wol - wont work

Have P7-1180t Windows 7-64 prof on homegroup with several XP clients. Want to awake P7 system from XP clients. Bios and adapters are configured for WOL, Powercfg confirms this with listing under "wake_armed". However P7-system doesn't awake (will awake from keyboard or mouse). Do I need to install a wire between adapter and motherboard? I'll appreciate any reply and/or suggestion.

Power-on by LAN or Keyboard on K8NGM2-FID not working - no 5V standby power?

I have two K8NGM2-FID motherboards - I can't get wake-on-LAN to power up the boards. They don't seem to have the 5V standby active - when powered down, the LAN socket lights are off. Power-up by keypress does not work either, probably the same reason.
I've set up loads of PC's to wake-on-LAN, so I know what I'm doing, and I've tried three different PSU's that I know work in other PC's. I've also flashed to the latest BIOS, and (of course) activated the WOL feature in the BIOS. I know it won't work immediately after a hard power cycle.
Any ideas? I really need this for remote administration. I usually have a problem with PC's waking up when *not* asked to, not refusing to wake up!

I read that browser.ui.layout.tablet = "1" can fix this problem. But it not works. I can work only in pnone interface that is not good for my 8'' tablet.

when i used the standard access sequences ,it is OK .

Dear Sandy,
Go to V/N1 transaction select your self defined access sequence then go in to the accesses and fields and check all fields are activated.
Make sure that these fields are flowing in your sales order.

I was under the impression that photoshop cc would not even install on windows vista.
What version of camera raw do you have?
In photoshop under Help>About Plugin does it list Camera Raw and if so which version is it?
(click on the words Camera Raw to see the version)
Camera raw doesn't work if it's a camera raw file or some other file type such as jpeg or tif?
What camera are the camera raw files from?
Officially camera raw 8.3 is the latest version of camera raw that will work on windows vista.

Partner application logoff not working

We have a partner application registered with sso with custom login screen. The login works fine. We use the following code to logoff the partner application in logoff.jsp

session.invalidate();
but the logoff is not working properly. It is not invalidating the session and the logout http request is not going from the application server to the sso server.
Are there any additional configurations for SSO logoff.Any help is appreciated.

The WF should also trigger if i add the Partner function in UI.If i change any Attribute the WF triggers but i dont want to change the attribute when i add the partner function.
If i have only one event for WF that is Partner Change the WF will not trigger it for the 1st time when i save the UI. But next i come to the same saved doc and add a partner function then the Wf triggers.
So this means that Partner change is active.
the issue here is i need to trigger the WF on , the 1st time i save the UI, for which i wil be using Attribute Change and next time when i come back to saved doc the and add only the partner function and no changes are made to attributes the WF should again trigger.

IPhone 4 Voice Memos not working/saving

Hi there,
I'm having trouble with my voice memos too. Up until yesterday they were working fine and now, even though the record button works, the stop button does not and I can only pause them. Worse again is that the button to go into the menu to view all voice memos is not working so I can't play them from my iPhone and nothing new is saving to my iTunes. Please help!

I've always had the "Include Voice Memos" option selected. I think that only pertains to syncing voice memos from iTunes to the iPhone after it has been copied to iTunes. It has to be the new OS/iTunes not communicating that new memos have been recorded. For some reason they won't sync when I want them to, and then a few syncs later they magically appear.
By the way, I'm VERY comfortable with the iTunes and iPhone systems. I've been using iTunes for 5 years, and I've been recording class lectures with the iPhone voice memo app (and another app) for a couple years. It's not an error of not seeing that the memos were added; they don't exist in my library or music folders.
JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY, POST WHICH FIRMWARE YOU ARE RUNNING EXACTLY!!!
I'm on an iPhone 4, running firmware 4.0.1
