Won't be able to setup Work email on my Blackberry z10

Hi Everyone,
I am using z10, trying to setup work email so that i can use blackberry balance,
I am using my work email through exchange active sync without any issue.
If possible can you guys give me the details how to setup work email directly through advance setup without errors.
I tried with my server details and username and password, no luck.
Thanks in advance.

Your company would need to have a BES 10 server in order to have BlackBerry Balance.

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync not working in Mobile Network – Blackberry Z10
I have set-up office email account in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync this work only over office Wi-Fi not working outside of office Wi-Fi range. When I back to office all new e-mail loaded automatically. I have no problem with yahoo email setup in the same Z10 hand set work in both Wi-Fi and Mobile network. I have data plan with my carrier. Both emails were working in my previous Blackberry hand set Bold 9900. But with this New Z10 this become a problem
What could a the problem and I need help please

The URL you provided https://... does require SSL as it has a "s".
Have you tested the server OMA setup with a notebook or desktop (https://webmail.domain.com/OMA)?
You should receive a login prompt for username & password following by an Inbox listing of messages.
We used this step to verify server setup before configuring an iPhone. Lastly, we made certain that connectivity would work from outside or within our company by doing the following:
    1) created A record for webmail.domain.com to a public IP that route through the firewall on 443 to the Exchange server's private IP - this handles external traffice
    2) added an internal DNS record for webmail.domain.com to the private IP of the Exchange server.
This ensures that webmail.domain.com sync's to exchange from outside or from within the Enterprise.

  • Setup work email on Mac Mail

    Hi
I've started working from home a few days a week.
I've got a Windows PC from work but would rather use my Macbook as its got a bigger screen and I've got it all setup nicely on my desk.
When I'm at home I'd like to use my Mac - now I can setup my iCal and Mail for my personal work email address no problem.
But... I also have access to an addtional mailbox (and its calendar) in my work Outlook.
Any ideas if and how I can set that mailbox and calendar up in Mail and iCal?
    Thanks in advance...

I've spoken to them, they are fine with that - quite relaxed.
But he said that its exchange server settings so doesn't think it would work on Mac Mail.
What info would I need and where would it go?
At the moment he is looking for a password for the additional mailbox to set it up as a seperate account which would be find with me, but I don't know if it has a password as its an additional one. But I don't know much about these things.
If anyone knows of any info that would help, I'd greatly appreciate it!

  • Reply to my work email using my blackberry email?

Hello, new to BB here and somewhat technologically challenged...  For whatever reason my Pearl 8130 will recieve emails from my work acct. but when I reply or try to send an email it gives me a failed delivery notice.  So I got a blackberry email and was wondering if it is possible to reply to my work emails using the bb email but without people replying to the bb email?  Did that question make any sense at all?
Also, was wondering how to make my Outlook and my organizer on my bb sync?  When I loaded the software and tried to configure that, Outlook was not an option?  Again, technologically challenged here....

    Hi...
Little question. I also had the option "Reply-to" at my previous telecom provider. Since our change to a new provider and upgrade of new BIS software... the new provider say that they don't have rights on the Reply-to anymore... So, this cannot be changed anymore. Is this actualy true, or is it policy of my new provider?
Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Interesting! I've not heard of anyone restricting access to the Reply-To field in BIS. So, just to be sure, are you logging into, via a PC and web browser, the BIS site of the new provider? And, on the "General Settings" tab of the configured account, there is no "Reply to:" field at all? Or is the field visible but just grayed out and inaccessible? And, via your BB BIS interface, you get the same result?
And, when you switched providers, did they switch your BIS conduits over? Or were they deleted on the old providers BIS site and you had to then create them brand new on the new providers BIS site?
    This is curious indeed!

  • Problem in Adding Emails in new Blackberry Z10

    Hi
I tried adding my work emails (Company Domain from Sites and Stores) here but its not letting me do that.
I called Telstra they added from there end and is still not working.
They send me service books twice i received nothing and they said i might need to delete existing service books which i cant find on my handset.
The emails i am trying to add is currently working on my BOLD it is not on Z10. I cant even manually add them on the phone. Firstly it ask for email Id and then password and then says The  email provider is not trustworthy you like to proceed i click yes to go ahead after 1 minute it goes Make sure your email address and password are entered correctly.
Could anyone please help or may have got the same problem.

There are no service books on the Z10 so your phone company are not helping you by telling you that there is.
I had a problem when I setup an IMAP account, no matter what I did it just wouldn't accept the details even though they were correct. I got round it by setting it up as a POP3 account and it accepted the details and works ok.

  • Cannot setup work email using SSL on non standard port

    All,
I've been trying now for a few hours to setup a corporate email account.  I've tried via the curve and via the bb internet service but in both cases since the service cannot detect the settings since a non standard port is in use I cannot use the the service and am considering returning the device to go with another easier to use device.  I love the hardware design but if I cannot setup my corporate email this is no good to me.  I'd appreciate any tips anyone has.
    Thanks,
      Frustrated.

Your corprorate email account is an exchange server or what?
You are on a personal BIS plan?

  • Best Email Platform for Blackberry Z10

    I love my Z10 phone.
However, going from getting pushed instant  e-mail from personal and business e-mail for 5 years to what I am getting on my Z-10 is crazy!
I am an E-mailer! I use Yahoo and groupwise and both are a disaster on my Z10.
I may have to change my personal e-mail to get instant push! Is there a platform hotmail etc, that will give me instant pushed that is also synced to my web version?
    Thanks
    Sky

I use Outlook.com and it pushes nice with Active Sync

  • Setting up my work email (Outlook 2007 - Exchange) to receive on my Blackberry

    Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to this whole blackberry experience....but I LOVE IT!
My question/difficulty is setting up/configuring my work email to my blackberry. My work email is on Outlook 2007 Exchange 2007, I have tried the redirect thing it talks about in the help menu. I clearly did it wrong because I am still not receiving emails from my work accout.
If anyone can help or give me some direction I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Well, there are a few questions to answer before we can direct you down the proper path...
BES -- does your firm have it? If so, stop now and go see them...BES is the best way to integrate a BB to your firms messaging environment.
Did you get a BlackBerry Data Plan on your BB? With BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)? (Call your carrier if you are not sure.). If so, then part 2 -- does your firm place your email accessible to you out on the raw internet (no VPN) via Outlook Web Access (OWA)? If also so, then you may be able to use BIS to be the conduit between your BB and your OWA. See these instructions:
KB03133 How to associate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email account with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
Before you ask, there's no way for us to tell you if your firm has internet facing OWA...you need to ask them.
Desktop redirector is indeed a method...but don't use more than one method (BIS, BES, Redirector)...just one...otherwise much more pain is in your future.
For general email configuration instructions, see this demo:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/blackberry101/setup.jsp#tab_tab_email
Hopefully something in here will get you going. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

  • Unable to set up work email account

My company went through server maintainence during Christmas and I cannot connect to my work email account through Blackberry.  The IT dept told me that they have not changed the server settings on SMTP or POP3.  They have given me all the user and server details, I tried using these to register through my service provider webpage and it cannot do so.
My colleague also lost his work account and he managed to reset with the same details and now able to connect.
The IT dept said they cannot do anymore to help and ask me to contact my service provider.  My service provider said it is problem with our IT dept.  Can someone please help me with this problem as I am getting desperate!
    Many thanks!

Seems that you need to do enterprise activation again on your blackberry device.
Contact your corporate Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) admin for the instructions.
Go to Options - Enterprise Activation
specify your corporate email address, specify your  BES account password and select from menu "Activate"

Hi I don't know if you guys have answered this already but i can't setup my email on my blackberry torch. I got it from my buddy who is with telus so I got it unlocked so I can use it on Rogers. I went through them to get hooked up with the blackberry plan and everything but now when I want to setup my email it won't let me. If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciate
    Cheers

    Hiya!
Couple things to try. First, go ahead and pull the battery with the device turned ON, reinsert, retry.
Failing that, go into options>device>Advanced system settings>Host Routing Table>Press menu key> select 'Register Now'> retry email

  • Setting work email/ IMAP

I have a user with a curve that when I go to setup her email on att.blackberry.com it cannot find the server.  However, I have the CEO who has a Blackberry Bold and his works just fine with IMAP.  I don't know why this user would be any different than the other. She is setup to use mobile access, owa, all of that stuff. My email server is up and running just fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    - Rick

when you go the manual way which options are you choosing from there... if she is OWA, thats NOT imap... those are both different setups.
here is an article on how to setup OWA

  • Work email on Z10

As you all aware BB Z10 cant setup work emails through outlook webmail because they remove BIS.
is there any application launched to access webmail ??

    Hello,
Actually, your premise is not quite correct. While BIS is gone and direct integration with pure OWA is also gone, there is something your server admins can do to enable things for BB10:
KB03133 How to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address on BlackBerry smartphone
The very last thing in that KB might be of use to you.
    Good luck!

  • "Invalid \escape" error preventing me from adding work email

Hello, I have been having a series of issues with my BlackBerry Q10 - sorry for the surge of threads, but these bugs seem unrelated and I would like to make separate threads to make them easier to search for others having similar problems.
I have been attempting to add my work email to my BlackBerry Q10. My username is "corp\myname". I am met with this error:
    http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr224/pidge01pub/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_00000403_edit.png
Using a double backslash merely tells me my settings are incorrect. I have attempted this upwards of ten times now, so I doubt the rest of my exchange info is the problem.
I have a Q10 with software 10.2.0.429. Wondering if there is a fix. Thank you.

Well it has been 4 days since you posted your question so I assume no-one is sure of the answer, maybe you can ask your work administrator or Rogers for help.

  • Cannot Get Personal Email on my Blackberry 8530 from Cricket Wireless

About a week ago I purchased a brand new Blackberry Curve 8530 from Cricket.  The phone seems to be working well except for the fact that I can't set up a personal email account.  When I go to the Setup Wizard under email,  it only gives me the option to setup a work email with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The instructions that came with the phone specify that there is supposed to be another option  for personal email setup.  I have contacted cricket technical support and they have no idea what is going on. The Corporate location I bought the phone at has no idea what to do either.    I saw that this has been an issue with the Curve 8530 with other providers. It seems that their data plan wasn't set properly for a Blackberry.  Cricket however, has a set plan for the Blackberry which you have to have for the phone to work.  My phone is also registered with Blackberry.
Please help me.  This is very frustrating.

Are you cetain you have the BlackBerry Data Plan enabled provisioned to your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
If you say you have that already, you need to call them and tell them it is not working.

  • Using my work email setup on my iPhone 5 I am  unable to send the email on my own hotmail account. Please help !!

Using my work email setup on my iPhone 5 I am able to send emails to all my colleagues on same network but I am unable to send the email on my own hotmail account. Please help !!
I have setup email using POP settings.

Okay, so you are sending mail from a work account on the iPhone 5, however if you try to send it to your hotmail or gmail accounts from the same work account, they are not received on the hotmail or gmail account? Is that correct?
YES - (The message is shown as delivered as its moved to sent folder)
Then secondly, if you attempt to send mail to anyone from the hotmail or gmail accounts on the phone to anyone at all, they show sent but never arrive. Is that correct?
NO - I dont have any hotmail/gmail account setup on my phone. Its a new work phone and I only have work email account setup on the phone. I was just trying to send a test email to my hotmail and gmail account but failed to receive those using my work email account on iphone 5.
I have tried receiving email on my work account on iphone, sent from my hotmail account (using web) and received it.
Incoming is all fine and I am able to receive emails from all sources but outgoing is only sucessful if I send it to anyone using my company's email account.
Sorry if my question wasn't clear earlier. I really need to fix this..
    Best regards,
