Won't let me download archive purchases
Hi-
I recently bought a mac after my PC broke again. Apple have allowed me to download all my archive purchases that were lost on the previous computer.
When I try to download it however it won't let me. It says there are 861 downloads available but doesn't actually show those items as a list of titles and when I click download it just says 'itunes store cannot be accessed at this time.' I can however access it if I purchase a new song for example. can someone please help me with this because it's rather frustrating!
Thanks in advance guys.
Uzair.
Contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click ‘iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store', then 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption'. They should be able to explain what the issue is and how to rectify it.

My daughter has used my computer to log into iTunes and download music but now it won't let me download recently purchased music from my iPad onto my computer. I want to transfer the recently purchased songs onto my iPod so how can I do this now? iTunes now says that I have to wait another 55 days! There must be a way to do this since I have paid for them.
In iTunes sign out of your daughters Apple ID and sign in with your own.

I updated my I-tunes now it won't let me download any purchases or anything off my cloud? I tried restarting and everything and no luck. Any solutions?
If it is an Intel Mac Mini, you will need to set the Partition Map Scheme to "GUID Partition Table" and Format it Mac OS Extended (Journaled). If it is a PPC Mac Mini, you will need to set the Partition Map Scheme to "Apple Partition Map" and Format it Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Then reinstall the OS X on your Install Disc and Update it.
1. Boot from your install DVD or Bootable Clone and open Disk Utility.
2. Highlight the HDD in the list of drives and select the Partition tab.
3. Under Volume Scheme select 1 Partition and click on the Options... button.
4. Select GUID Partition Table in the drop down window and click OK.
5. Set the Format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and click the Apply button.
6. Once that is done, then you can do a clean Install from your Install Disc. -
Hi,
The other day I upgraded to the latest ios7, and after I did that, the App Store says that I have never purchased or downloaded any apps, and that I have never deleted any. This is annoying because I have spent a fair bit of money on games which I played, but now I want back, but can't get them back unless I buy them again!
If anyone could give me some help as to what to do so that I can re-download my purchased apps, then it would be much appreciated! You must use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase to re download for free.

I don't get why? What's the harm if you're in a different country? We all pay the same way and the internet was made to connect people over the world, stuff is downloaded from different global destinations millions of times a day. So what's the point of having an itunes store and App Store that limits you to the boring stuff in your own country? You read about these great app's, bands etc and find them in search engines, you have all the Mac products, but then you can't use them coz of where you're currenlty living? It's like a horrible tease!
Is there a way around this? Or what can be done in order to access the things I want?
Any advice, suggestions anyone? The reason is licensing - artists/record companies/TV networks/movie distributors all have separate licensing deals in different countries (or no licensing deals at all). It isn't mysterious or secret.
The only way around this is to have an iTunes account in the other country - either a valid credit card with billing address in that country, or an iTunes gift card from that country (though you'll still be asked for a billing address in the country for which you've purchased the card). -

It keeps having me verify my billing won't let me download apps update apps nothing I don't want to purchase anything but it insist on me putting in credit card info please help
If you want to use your current ID you will either have to provide a credit card or redeem an iTunes gift card. Otherwise you can create a new ID without a credit card to purchase free apps by following this exactly as written: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534.

I just recently got an iPod touch 5 and it won't let me download apps. It says they are free but when I install it , it keeps popping up saying before purchasing I must tap continue to verify my purchase something like that. Idk what to do. !!!!!
Yes. You can set the payment method to "None" once you log into iTunes on your PC/Mac. I have it set up this way.

When going to update it says there is a billing problem with the previous purchase when I go to update it still won't let me download and all the info is correct. How do I fix this?
You have to email iTunes Store Support about this issue now. You can get started here. Change the country in the upper right if necessary.

I purchased a tv series and downloaded the first episode, when I went to download the next episode a message popped up saying "this computer is already associated with an apple id.....You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 41 days" and won't let me download the rest of the shows even though I haven't changed accounts and I'm using the same account I purchased the shows with.
It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

I'm trying to get itunes up and running on new computer. I have lots of music I've purchased from Itunes...and they show in my account. But only some of them have the cloud next to them. The rest say "downloaded" and it won't let me download them again.
I believe that all audiobooks are supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time only download. This is the link for contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Hi I just bought an iTunes to card to purchase music but it won't let me download anything because I can't remember my security question I'm trying to get my credit card info off
If you can't get the answers emailed to you, phone Apple from a number listed in article HE57 and ask for the Account Security team.

my old back had a lot of movies on it and it was stolen. i got a new one and it won't let me download my 400 dollars in movies into my library..all the movies show up on my purchased itemsbut when i click on them it does nothing how do i get my movie back??
if you cant download them > email the iTunes Store emaill support adn explian the situation adn they will give you a regrant of all your purchases.
expresslane.apple.com > click on iTunes > then iTunes Store > and choose the right prompts
but you should try the pas purchase thing in iTunes first because the regrant is a one time thing. > IE iTunes Store > purchases > click what you want > redownload
> but you do need iTunes 10.5 or later for it to work correctly .
i woudl ask for the regrant it you dont have the options for movies yet -

Hello TheCoddfish,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
So it sounds like you have a preorder you would like to download, but it is not downloading, or you dont have the option to download it.
Without knowing what the preorder was, and if it is released, I found this article named iTunes Store: About Pre-orders found here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5714.
This part in particular:
Downloading a pre-ordered item
When a pre-order item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know your pre-order is available for download.
If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloads to begin downloading your pre-order.
To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for your pending pre-orders
Choose Store > View My Appie ID, then click Manage Pre-orders, which located in the Settings section at the bottom of the Account Information screen in iTunes on your computer.
From the Mange Pre-orders screen, click the Cancel button to the right of the pre-order item you would like to cancel. You'll be asked to confirm your pre-order cancellation.
If the album is released and you still cannot download it, I would report the issue directly to the iTunes Store support.

I purchased a song on iTunes and it shows up in the song list with an exclamation point on the side of it. It says the song could not be found. I have done a search and can't find it but iTunes won't let me download or buy it again. Help!!
Hello levon10
Just delete the song and then go through the process of downloading the purchase again.
